The Travis Heights Farm House

This lovely property is a 2 bedroom, one bath house in the heart of the Travis Heights neighborhood. It's situated at the back of a double lot, which provides privacy, and is surrounded by mature trees and gardens. It truly feels like a sanctuary but is only minutes from S. Congress and downtown Austin.

The house has lots of natural light with large windows in the living room and dining room. The bedrooms both have very comfortable queen size beds with headboards and night stands. The bathroom is spacious and has a walk in shower.

There's a fanciful, separate movie cottage with a big screen tv, black out curtains, couch and lounge chair. It could also be used as a home office.

There's a grill and patio area with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The front porch has a large couch and there's additional seating in the yard. The couch is a recent purchase. I've included pictures of it but some of the older photos still show the older couch.

The house is 6 blocks from the South Congress district, home to some of Austin's best restaurants, shops and the city bus.

The property is one block from Big Stacy pool (which is free and open year round) and the lovely trail along Blunn Creek that leads downtown.

Travis Heights is very central and an incredibly friendly neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and linens and towels are provided

Please note- I only rent my home April through November. The upstairs of the house is not for rent, but no one else will be there during your stay.
Also to note- there is a chicken coop in the side yard (no roosters!) that is cared for by the neighbors.
