The RV was comfortable except in the heat of the day (3 to 6) it got hot inside but cooled down at night. I wish the table an chairs pictured would have been there. Sleeping was good, bed small but comfortable and very quiet. Very good TV pic. If you want a quiet getaway to go fishing a good place with kayak an canoe rentals.
Had a nice stay, though not such great weather. High winds on 2 nights made sleeping tough with all the creaking and banging, though thatâs what you can expect in a trailer. Jason was an attentive host.
Trailer was good for two of us and the dog, but really needs a new couch.
Nothing to do in Cisco or immediately surrounding towns to speak of, but if youâre looking for a good quiet break, it fits the bill!
Jason and the ladies working the Marina were soooo nice! They have minnows and everything you need to fish right there! The camper is very secluded, on the opposite side of the road from the water, Marina, and a great swimming hole. We fished off the dock (which has a locked gate so, we were alone almost always) both day and night. Caught some monster bass, crappie, and catfish with our light dropped in the water till almost 2AM every night :) took the paddle boat out one day and caught more bass in the coves.....grocery store and little town is within 10 minutes drive. If I have to say something negative - The dock is in need of repair but, you only notice it when boats or jet skis are zooming by on the weekends. The waves will send you bouncing but, at night the lake is calm and the fishing couldn't have been better..... Did i mention how nice Jason was :)
This was such a memorable time! Everything was beyond what we expected.
The camper was just the perfect size for us 3 and our shih tzu.
We rented a paddleboat, swam, fished and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings.
Jason was a fantastic host.
Made sure we were will acclimated and provided all we needed.
We already discussing when to return with another family.
Thanks Jason and family!

My wife and I just needed to get away from what was a very busy summer at our pet boarding facility and the short drive to Lake Cisco Rentals provided that opportunity. Sine the City of Cisco owns all the property around the lake, there is VERY limited access so there isn't much more to see and do and the lake. The town of Cisco is nearby and offers some nice shopping and food options. The question is; will I rent again from LCR? I can't answer that one right now... probably, I guess, I don't know. If Jason and motorized boats to rent, then YES, I'd definitely rent again from LCR.
We loved everything about Cisco, TX! The camper was perfect and Jason is amazing!
We cooked every meal outside on the grill and fire pit. Jason was very accommodating and knowledgeable about everything from fresh bait to history of Cisco. We fished on the private dock all day and night and my husband and son(10yo) really got in some quality time. My daughter(12) and I were able to hike along the paths and also got pretty good at starting a fire. My parents also joined us but stayed in a nearby hotel. The camper had two rooms which was perfect. We stayed three nights and loved every minute. Oh and last but not least was the TV and internet which was a plus.
We enjoyed our stay at Lake Cisco Rentals and would highly recommend staying here! The RV was spacious, bed was comfy, TV and wifi were a great perk, and the outdoor area was relaxing (with great breeze form the lake).
We were greeted by Jason (and his adorable daughter) and he was readily available to us all weekend.
We also rented a canoe for the day and explored the lake. We then went swimming off of the private dock with our dog.
The property is close to town (where we went for coffee, groceries, and breakfast).
Overall, the whole weekend was a perfect getaway.
The camper was a perfect size for our family of four. We had a great time visiting with the locals in town, shopping, checking out the brewery, and learning Cisco history at the small museum. The lake was fun, we rented a paddle boat at a reasonable price, and also enjoyed swimming.
Thanks Jason, we had a great time!
The camper was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect weekend getaway with activities for the whole family. Fishing, boating, swimming, and the typical camp must doâs like campfire, smores etc. Thank you Jason and family for sharing this little gem with us. :)
The camper home had everything we needed, the size was sufficient for us, and the outdoor area was beautiful. We had breakfast each morning at the little table outside, and the kitchen was just the right size. We didn't take advantage of the canoe or boat, but the rates were very reasonable. Sunrise and sunset over the lake were amazing. Jason was willing to come out and help whenever we needed anything. The best thing was that we were able to focus on each other and relax in such a beautiful, serene, and private place for our anniversary.
Jason,
Charlie and I had a great time. We both enjoyed the walks, boat ride. I was able to get the life style of the RV. Most of all I will miss the conversations with you. It was nice to meet your mother in law and Summer. Hey if you ever come to our side of the world give us a call. Take care.
We went to relax and do some fishing. We enjoyed staying in the camper where we were secluded from the others but with in walking distance of fishing pier. The town of Cisco is very quaint and the towns people very friendly
Hi I'm Jason! I am an avid outdoors man, father, biker. My passion is fueled with a great respect and appreciation for nature, the road, humanity and history. Fishing, hunting and taking care of my family, friends & neighbors are some of my greatest joys! My hobbies include traveling, engineering, carpentry, welding, recycling and DIY projects. After 14 years of drilling for oil companies I found myself in the position of needing to find an alternative career to provide for my family, so in February of 2016 I took on a project of restoring an abandoned lakeside resort and began my journey building Lake Cisco Rentals. So far the journey has been awesome and I've met lots of great people!
