Very nice condo. Spacious and clean. For the most part very guiet and other guests very very friendl

Great place to stay, quiet and relaxing. The only gripe I have is slow elevators and awful parking unless you drive a compact car. I would consider staying here again.

The property was not in good condition. Missing cabinet hardware, broken chairs, holes in doors, and wobbly pool table.

Great location

We had a wonderful time, unfortunately washer and dryer went bad while we was there but they did replace them for us. It was bike week, we expected fun! Only bad thing was the frat parties behind our building we had to try to ignore. Other than that we had an amazing time. Wi most definitely be back next year.

Review

Not very clean. Bathrooms had a dirty towel left behind, bed had a dirty sticky pillowcase and all downstairs floors were filthy. Pool table was nasty and laundry machines were not in good condition. Washer handle was broke and dryer almost caught fire. wifi didn’t work the first two days.

Place has potential but needs some attention

Property needs some maintenance. Large number of lights did not have working light bulbs. Dining Room table was missing a chair and another was broken. Wi-Fi also quit working after the first day. Asked property management for assistance with both issues and did not receive a response. Master bathroom sink did not have a working sink. Maintenance did come to fix this issue. Ice maker in freezer also did not work. Maintenance tried to fix this issue but was unsuccessful. We ended up purchasing ice for the week. This property is large, spacious and in a fairly decent location. It has great potential but needs someone to actively care for and monitor up keep.

Not what I thought/ advertised

First and foremost the pictures are what people go off of when booking and planning. Every room had 2 twin beds that you had to push together to make a full bed. This is not what is described when you read over how many beds are in each room. I found hair in my bedding multiple times, grossed me out. Found it in the towels and wash clothes. Thank God I brought my own items. Let’s be clear, I fully understand that you can’t make everything complete spotless but you can go back and double check your work and try your best to catch those imperfections. The amount of hair I found was ridiculous. Plus that condo is outdated as hell. The furniture is worn, the walls are beat up and dented, the pool table is stained, worn, wobbly and missing pieces. The furniture outside is broken and old. The dining room table and chairs are wobbly with a broken chair. I don’t know if all of the condos in this building is kept like this I definitely do know that room 408 is not one that I will pick again. To the condo owner/owners, with the money being made off this condo yall could do better. We paid 1,700 dollars for 3 nights. I can only imagine what yall make in a month. This condo has no business looking like it does. Please do better.

It had the potential to be so much better!

The property had the possibility of being a great place to stay but there were several Things that were lacking. The furniture and bedding was very uncomfortable. The one dining room chair had been repaired previously to our trip with duct tape! Many things were broken. The cable system for the TV was awful and there was no instructions for it’s use. The pots and pans were in bad shape. We should not have to bring basic kitchen items to be able to cook and function in the kitchen. Several bathrooms did not even have trash cans so we had to hang a grocery bag on the door for trash. It was convenient to the beach but the beach was very small at high tide. We had trouble with smoke from smokers in other units drifting over when we sat on the balcony! View of ocean was not good. The unit had plenty of bathrooms. Owner should put money back into maintenance and update of unit.

Definitely not as Described!

This unit was not as described in the listing! The listing stated “newly remodeled” and that was not the case here! This property may have been remodeled at some point but it has not been maintained! Upon arrival we noticed not only dirty walls but walls that had been pretty well banged up! The downstairs master bath had panels hanging on by a thread! The downstairs guest bath had a leak (which maintenance was quick to tend to and for that we are thankful). The kitchen was less than desirable as far as the pots and pans provided. They had to be cleaned before we could even use them. One of the cabinet doors was in need of repair. The toaster did not work and we were told a new one would be brought to us and it never was. The door shelves on the fridge were held together by duct tape(barely). The living room couches really needed to be cleaned! Upon going upstairs we noticed how beat up the walls were! The pool table was disgusting and had a broken leg so it wasn’t even playable! The beds are listed as king beds to which they technically probably are but they’re two twins pushed together which made for a not so comfortable nights sleep! The most positive part was the washer and dryer are great! We love staying on the cherry grove villas but this unit was disappointing and I would even recommend VRBO holding off on allowing anyone to rent this until it is cleaned up and repaired! Glad I video taped a walk through so that we wouldn’t get held responsible for anything!

Disappointed

Paid thousands for a 6 bedroom 5 bath condo. Plenty of room but everything was dirty and broken. I sent pictures to property manager upon arrival. They did send someone to mop the sticky floor and fixed one door knob. There is only seating for at most 5 in the living room. The family couldn’t even watch a movie together. Bedspreads had cigarettes burns and smelled of smoke. When I booked the condo I sent a message asking for the address for the purpose of golf cart delivery. They promptly gave me the address but never mentioned that they aren’t allowed. I failed to read the rental agreement fine print. I lost that money when I was notified by the golf cart rental that they would not let them deliver. We were so uncomfortable that we came home a day early. When you work 51 weeks a year to have a one week vacation this is so disappointing!! Hope this helps someone.

The property maintenance is TERRIBLE!! Will not stay at this property EVER AGAIN!!

We arrived on Saturday afternoon. Late Saturday night, the people from the condo above us knocked on our door. They had water dripping in their unit. One of our family members had just got out of the shower so we knew right away where the problem was coming from. We told the people below we would not use that shower and to call the property manager in the morning. Maintenance showed up to check it out and said he would get someone there right away to fix it. When he inspected the shower, he noticed it was cracked (something that had happened over time, not caused by us). Came back later on and told us they could not fix it until the next week and was completely RUDE to my nephew. He told him we better not use the shower or we would be charged for all the damages!! Damages we did NOT cause! He threatened him and treated him like it was his fault!! First off, we had made the decision NOT to use it because it would have effected the people below. Second off, he should have said, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, please don't use the shower." Instead he threatened us! We paid for 5 bathrooms, not 4. We understand things come up but the way were were spoken to was not how I would speak to paying customer who have been inconvenienced. I emailed the property manager and received no response. The second problem was the door key pad broke during the middle of our stay. They chose not to fix it and made us share a key between 16 people!! The shower curtains were DISGUSTING in most of the bathrooms. The bed in the top floor master bedroom had staining that went down the entire side of the bed. Looked like someone bled all over it. Didn't notice it until removing the sheets before departure. The kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. were not adequate for a 6 bedroom condo full of people. Location was perfect for our stay. Unit was large.

i'm sorry there was a maintenance issue in the shower, but we agreed not to disrupt your stay by having maintenance people in / out of the property. I'm sorry if you felt staff was rude. It has since been addressed.

Cherry Grove

This was an awesome experience for my spouse and I along with 4 other couples. The process was easy and the host made sure our stay was pleasant. Only down fall is that the HOA only allows 4 parking decals for rentals with 5+ rooms for this location. I will make sure to book this location again because everything about this place was great!

Disappointed

The house set up (bed sizes) were smaller than listed. There were a lot of fruit fly type of bugs flying around the unit. The unit bathrooms were not clean, so we had to clean them, we had to vacuum room and sweep floors. Very disappointed we had to come to unit, on our vacation and clean up some else’s filth.

Great layout; broken furniture

My family decided to have Thanksgiving at the beach this year. We chose Cherry Grove Villas because of the location and the size of the condo. Having an elevator was great (especially with hauling all of our groceries) and other guests socially distanced and wore masks on the property. The layout and size of the condo was perfect, but several pieces of furniture were broken, including both futons and most of the dining room chairs. The table was supposed to seat 8 and only 3 chairs were usable. There was very little seating around the TV, which was awkward with so many bedrooms. I was asked to specify how I wanted to beds to be arranged prior to our trip. I filled out the form and received confirmation, but they were all left as 2 twins. I contacted the property manager and they offered to get in touch with housekeeping in the morning, but I declined, as it was not a problem, just more of an inconvenience. Overall, it was a great stay, we just wished that the property had been maintained better.

Family Vacation 2019

This place has so much room and was great for our large family. Our children and grandchildren loved it. The beds were ok, the water pressure and hot water in down stairs showers wasn’t great. The elevators are really slow and stuffy but the hot tub and pool was amazing! I would totally recommend this place.

Great location and friendly neighbors. Overall great time with extended family.

Had a wonderful time at Cherry Croce. Beach was great. Condo was spacious, had plenty of room to relax with extended family. Only slight negative comment was that the carpets and pool table could of been cleaned alittle more.
