Spacious condo with great views!

Great communication from the host and an easy check-in. Priceless, practically unobstructed view of the mountains from back lanai! 100% recommend for north shore stays.

Great place to stay

The main restaurant at the resort has been closed for years. The Pool has no swim up bar. The resort is basically an owner and timeshare location. The Vrbo of the unit is absolutely great. The resort it self needs a lot of upgrades to amenities.

Beautiful

This condo was incredible! Our only regret was that we were so busy we could barely spend any time there! The view from the balcony was unreal. The resort pool and activities were super nice. Sad we couldn't sleep with the doors open because of the dang roosters but that's Hawaii!

Fantastic Condo, Resort and Location!

Amazing condo with plenty of space, amenities and everything you could need for a home away from home! Jeff & Cheryl have you covered in terms of supplies including a fully stocked kitchen and ease of check-in and check-out. Truly a relaxing time! We loved spending time at the beautiful pool and getting drinks from the swim-up bar, on one of our 2 lanais with breathtaking mountain views, visiting Princeville and Hanalei Town, walking along Hanalei Bay and driving down to other parts of the island. Plus Jeff was super responsive to any questions. Will definitely return and be staying at this condo again!

Jungle Paradise

Excellent unit overlooking the jungle and gorgeous mountain views! Very private unit away from all the golf carts and pool noise. We have stayed in many other units at HBR in the span of 26 years and this our favorite unit. New owners are incredibly conscientious with communication and amenities. They texted to check if anything was needed during our stay. Very accommodating and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better host and a more gorgeous vacation location!

Gem of a condo in paradise!!

Thankyou for everything Jeff!!! Staying in this condo is an amazing experience waking up to the roosters and mountain views with waterfalls after it rains. This condo is extremely well put together, furnished and stocked! When I return to Kauai - it will be back to this condo on one of the best resorts on this island!!! If you are looking for a Special place to stay on the North Shore - this is it. I have been a returning visitor to Hanalei bay resort 6 times - and will be again soon!!! Thanks for everything Jeff!!

Peaceful tropical paradise!

We loved every moment of our stay at Jeff & Cheryl’s Hanalei Bay Resort condo! It was absolutely perfect and exceeded all of our expectations! It was impeccably clean, super comfy and included all the right amenities! Our favorite time was spent on the private lanai with a breathtaking Hanalei paradise view. We loved waking up with the birds and roosters at daybreak. From the tree-top view, we watched the Hanalei forest come to life! The resort is beautiful and the private beach is so peaceful and serene—especially at sunset! It was a wonderful blessing and we are looking forward to our future stays at this perfect piece of paradise! 🌴🌺🙌🏻

Simply paradise!

This is a beautiful, beautiful place to stay. We came to celebrate retirement and every day was wonderful. The condo was lovely, had everything we needed and Jeff is a great host. We spent a fair amount of time on the lanai enjoying the view of the mountain waterfalls, changing clouds and rainbows, etc. in addition to going down to the beach with the beach chairs and lounging. If you are a birdwatcher and can fit in some binoculars, it would be worth it as birds flit around in the tree tops off the lanai. In the bookcase, there is an interesting book on the history of Hanalei in addition to other helpful info about the area. In the evenings we watched the beautiful sunsets from the lawn area with the gas fire pit and also enjoyed a nice dinner and some tasty Lava Flows at the Happy Talk Lounge. Our Hawaii trip also took us to other islands, but this was by far the best and our favorite.

Magical trip

Our stay at the Kondra condo was nothing short of spectacular. Both rooms of the unit were pristine in condition and felt very home like. The kitchen was stocked with any utensil one could need and all of the appliances were in great shape. The views from the lanai are hard to beat, even from marked view points! The two full bathrooms were very nice to have and the showers were very pretty. We made use of the beach chairs and supplies that the Kondras provided and we were very happy to have them. We were in contact with Jeff prior to, during, and even after our trip. Jeff was incredibly kind and helpful during our trip. He offered suggestions for places to visit as well as advice on our plans. Jeff checked in a few times (which was much appreciated) to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. There is not one single improvement that could be made, it was just perfect. This unit is a true gem, and we will definitely be back.

Incredible lanai views, impeccably clean condo, and gorgeous resort!

We absolutely loved our stay in Jeff's condo in the Hanalei Bay Resort! We had to reschedule our stay 3 times due to COVID, but we were determined to make it work, and Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and accomodating the whole time. As soon as we stepped into the condo, we knew it had been worth the wait! The place was spotless and we had plenty of space to spread out. And then there was the views from the two lanais... All I can say is WOW! The first morning when we woke up and were treated to our first sunrise view, we were completely floored. We could have stayed there all day watching the views change as the sun rose over the mountains. We joked that our whole trip albums was going to be full of pictures of this one view from our lanai! We also loved the pool and hot tub area. It was a lovely place to relax and cool off after a morning of snorkeling at the beach. Overall, we had a fabulous time and can't wait to return. I would recommend Jeff's condo to any one of my family and friends who are lucky enough to visit this beautiful island.

Excellent unit for a dream vacation!

The room and the views are even better than can be captured in the photos. Jeff is a great host and made sure we checked in okay and if we needed anything. All the furnishings, bathrooms, kitchen, flooring is in great shape and very clean. Since the unit is within the resort, there were great amenities on the property. Mostly the awesome pool with waterfalls, spa, and swim up bar. They have two nice large outdoor gas grills, about 100 yards away, for cooking your own food if you enjoy grilling. Unfortunately the restaurant and Happy Talk Lounge were still closed. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. The walk to the beach was easy, and the resort has a courtesy cart/shuttle that can pick you up if you don't want to walk back uphill, but it was easy, just pace yourself on the hill section. All the property staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed many meals on the lanai and the beautiful view of the lush forest and mountains. The check in was handled through the resort and although this was a private unit, you get access to the staff for any help. We had several beach days at different area beaches and the unit had beach chairs, beach umbrella, soft side cooler, picnic cart, and many other swim/beach toys to make it easy to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection

We were celebrating our 20 yrs wedding anniversary so we wanted some place special. This place exceeded all expectations. By far, the nicest place we’ve ever stayed in all our travels. The bed was so comfortable. My husband has a bad back so a comfy bed is top priority. The water pressure was excellent. The condo was super clean; We could walk around barefoot. The view was unreal. We could not believe our eyes. The mountains were spectacular. We could even see a waterfall coming down the mountains. The resort is lovely. The lava rock hot tub was beautiful. The beach was gorgeous and you can snorkel right off the beach. We didn’t travel to any other beach! The lava flows at Happy Talk bar and restaurant were delicious and the pizza at Wiki Pizza was a huge hit with our kids. The condo was perfect for our family of four. Two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer were such a bonus. The condo had such high quality furniture and finishes. The location was perfect, right by the pool and parking. We didn’t have to lug our suitcases up any flights of stairs. It truly was paradise. Less than a 10 min drive from the grocery store in Princeville and 15 min from Hanalei. Be sure to eat at Wake Up Delicious in Hanalei. The Kalua pork burrito and macadamia nut latte were amazing. The pull-out couch had a memory foam mattress! The high ceilings and AC really put this place over the top. It is perfection! This condo was perfect for hiking the Kalalau trail, and kayaking and snorkeling!

Great place in Princeville

This was a great place to stay up North. The place itself is spacious and has everything you need. The beds (both the master and pull out) were very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was great for our kid. The walk to the beach is beautiful but you can call for a ride down there if it is too far for you. We would definitely stay here again.

Paradise!

This was our second visit to the island and second time staying at the Hanalei Bay Resort. This condo was absolutely beautiful and the views from the lanei’s were absolutely stunning. Booking this unit with Jeff was the best experience we’ve ever had and he always went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Mountain views

Beautiful grounds, nice beach with shade trees when desired, staff available for rides up and down steep path to beach. Loved sitting in bed in the morning looking out at the mountains and waterfall.
