Property was as described perfect for a family of four. Beach, Bike and walking path access directly across the street. Lovely deck and hot tub made it perfect to relax as well as cozy den for late night television. We did plan to eat some meals in so I would say a definite trip to market for some small incidentals as we bought main food from home. The only negative I would have is one of the bath towels was not clean and there are very few drinking glasses. Otherwise I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Loved our stay in Ventura! The house is great. Perfect size for my family of 4. We all thought the room with the loft was fantastic too Fantastic location across from the state park a close to the Channel Islands visitor center. Gorgeous boardwalk to run/walk along the beach in the state park.

Colt, we had an amazing time . Not only is the location perfect for adventures , but it was nice just to relax and take sunset walks this time of year to the Mae west brewery. The house was comfortable in every way. The jacuzzi made for great conversations.really a wonderful place and will be happy to recommend to my friends coming from out of town.thank you again for easy check in and check out... Walking in I was hit with an overwhelming smell of dog. I even have a dog! But this was too much. This house has very poor ventilation and the ‘bonus room’/garage with the carpeted loft was so dusty and grimy I ended up having a severe allergic reaction and had to cancel my trip early. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold in that room…the house is situated in a way where airflow is impossible even with the windows open. Many of the windows did not even open, as the clasps/locks were old and/or damaged to the point they couldn’t open. All they have to help are two very old, very dusty metal fans dumped in the closets. Everything (lights, tv) was unplugged, and there was an uninstalled clothes dryer just sitting in the kitchen. The lights on the hot tub did not work, so you could only enjoy it during the heat of the day. Also, this house sits right on the beach thoroughfare so there you must choose between privacy or being able to breath (open windows/doors). The owners need to severely assess and update this property, as luxury it is not. DO NOT book during the summer, unless you want to swelter.

You reached out to us after your first night detailing these cleanliness and comfort issues, but informed us at that same time that you were already checking out and leaving the property. This did not grant us time to inspect and validate the reported issues. While we are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, please rest assured that the new washer/dryer was already installed and did thorough cleaning of the bonus room mentioned as well as the windows. Exellent stay. Great layout, we had two teens with us, everyone got a separate space. Family room worked as a bedroom for one. They were in the hot tub 3 times a day, able to see palms while relaxing in the tub. We were there at Thanksgiving, there is a full kitchen - although we didn't use it much, we could have cooked for an entire family easily - ample outdoor space to host. Bathroom is as nice or nicer than most serious hotels. An extra blanket or two would be useful - the wall heater doesn't get into the back bedrooms very easily. We had a great experience here and would return.

Location is very close to the beach! However we didn’t anticipate the amount of foot and car traffic in front of the house because of this. The interior was very clean upon arrival, and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We did have to reach out about the cleanliness of the hot tub, but the staff was responsive and did send someone the next day to service it. Overall we had a great stay!

Very beautiful little home. It was just for me but could sleep more. The hot tub was amazing. I felt safe, The home is close to the beach which is amazing.
