I honestly don't think it's possible to say enough good things about this property. It was absolute perfection! So clean and cozy, the giant porch, perfect location to be able to easily walk to Congress Park or downtown....but still super quiet, and I evidently didn't pay enough attention to the listing description, because the full kitchen was a wonderful surprise! If I ever find myself in Saratoga Springs again, I will without a doubt check to see if this property is available before I look at any others!

We enjoyed our stay and were extremely comfortable. The location is amazing; it’s an easy walk to the track, sales grounds and downtown. The host communicates well and all processes surrounding checkin and checkout are clear and simple.

Delightful home in a nice neighborhood with a pleasant walk to the enjoyable downtown and park. A treat to have a full time parking spot too. Comfy bedroom, nice living/dining room and kitchen. Nice option to sit on the front porch too. A very nice stay.

Amazing location - 5 min walk to the track, 10 mins to downtown. Comfortable and friendly neighborhood. Convenient parking available and the unit was clean and well maintained - as advertised. Excellent communication from the host. We absolutely recommend this property and would stay there again.

This suite was perfect for two couples over a long weekend. It was clean, well-equipped, had free parking and was on a lovely street. Right down the way was a market/deli that we used three times because the food was very good and inexpensive. The large front porch is a bonus. Highly recommended!

The apartment and location were perfect. 10-15 minute walk from both the race track and downtown area. Convenient off street parking. The apartment was clean and well kept. It is an older building, noise travels from the other units with the creaky doors and floors. Only complaint was around excessive price gouging for early check in (50/hr). Although the apartment was empty and we were traveling with an 8 month old, we needed to pay extra for early check in. Regardless of that, we would definitely stay there again for our next visit.

Thank you for your honest feedback! We do charge the same for every unit to every guest. I'm sorry you found it excessive, but it frequently impacts our cleaners, who charge us to move their calendars around. We have found that consistency is a key to being fair to all guests. That said, we are reviewing our fees and how we manage our cleaning partners and appreciate your feedback. You took amazing care of the property and we look forward to hosting you in the future!

Fun couple of days

Nice quiet area central to everything. A beautiful place with a nice wrap around porch to sit and relax after a day at the track. Would definitely stay here again.

First stay in Saratoga

Very nice, comfortable and roomy. Well stocked. King bed was very comfortable as well. Nice neighborhood close to downtown which has unique shops and good restaurants.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, cups, etc. The fridge was large, clean and had a water dispenser. The bed was comfortable. The porch was lovely. Local shopping was great. The history of the area is endless. The Visitor Center was very helpful and I would encourage all visitors to start there!

The location was walkable to downtown, the track and where we needed to go. Apartment was inside a big single family chopped up into apts. There were 2 apts on the 1st floor. It was adequate for 2 people or less. Bedroom had old glass doors with fabric over the glass. They should be replaced with solid doors.. I’m a small person and felt the bathroon was an uncomfortably small laout. And the sofa bed was a thin mattress. OK maybe for a child. We didnt use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. Floors were built up over old flooring I think, so there were odd threshold transitions too. Not great…

I'd like to point out that everything you noted is clearly visible in the listing photos, including the original glass doors, now covered with blackout curtains for privacy. There was a waffle pad for the sleeper sofa that wasn't used which would have made it more comfortable. I'm truly sorry that your stay wasn't worthy of 5 stars and appreciate your feedback.

The home is a classic Saratoga home divided into six units. My unit was immaculate, super clean. Great TV and sofa area. Great kitchen. Comfortable king bed with 4 great pillows. There were other units rented and it was still very quiet. 8 minute walk to Saratoga Race Course and an easy walk to town as well. Beautiful front porch to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Communication with host was excellent. Can’t go wrong at this property. A

As for your check-in process, it would have been helpful for you to read emails and messages from the VRBO channel, which contained all the info you needed.
