My wife, father, sister and I had a great stay. DC has so much to do and see and it is all within a mile or 2 from this lodging.

Excellent amenities for family stay in amazing location. Easy walk to Capitol and Union Station through quaint neighborhood. Three private bedrooms, full kitchen and laundry, and 1.5 bath was perfect for our group of 5. Did not even use additional sofa bed in living room. Very clean, safe, and easy to navigate instructions. Will stay again.

What I liked- the apartment was very clean and modern. The host was VERY communicative.Cons- the entry is rather awkward and difficult to find initially. Also with it being winter and post snowstorm the walkway was not fully shoveled thoroughly and the heat was not working. Our host definitely went into problem solving mode and tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible given the circumstances beyond his control.

Short long weekend in Dc

The place is exactly as pictured. It is a short walk away from a lot. Do not plan on parking car and leaving in neighborhood during the weekday you will need a parking pass or take your car with you. Great coffee shop just a very short walk away. Felt safe every where we walked and when coming and going

Perfect Location!

This cute brownstone was perfect for our family of 5. Great location that was wakable to city transportation and a small grocery and lots of restaurants. If we couldn't find something the owner had it to us within hours. Only down side was that the kitchen was pretty sparse and the beds were more firm than we are used to.

Lovely area

We loved the area and not knowing DC at all was extremely happy with how pretty the area was. All the homes were well cared for. Some beautiful architecture.The listing was confusing because they showed the three bedrooms and then showed a photograph of an office. Which turned out to be the third bedroom. So we thought we were actually getting four rooms with beds. We utilized the couch rather than the blowup beds and that work just fine.

Basement apartment rentals

The space was fine. Its furnishings are vey minimal, and the beds are “cheap”. It’s also a basement apartment that can only be accessed through the back alley. The kitchen/greatroom was adequately furnished with basic kitchen dishes and cookware. The space did have a slight musty odor.

Making it work on Capitol Hill

We stayed a week at this vrbo. There were no reviews as it is a new listing. The host was very open and communicative- it is clear his intention of creating a welcoming and great VRBO experience. We did have some issues but he was immediate in his responsiveness and made every effort to fix the issue as well as anticipate potential issues. He was also very open to any suggestions in had based on my experience as the renter.The location is great! We loved walking through the neighborhood! We could get to the Capitol in under 20 min, to the eastern market station as well as the red line station all under 20 min. So many options! My kids never complained about the walk from the metro (there are bus routes that we could have jumped on, but it was never needed!)Having a washer / dryer is always a plus for me and the space itself housed 5 of us comfortably (everyone loved having their own space!) Will wS an excellent host and if we ever go back to DC we would hope to stay here again.

The communication with the owner was easy and accurate. The only thing i will note is that the parking can be a challenge but not something that is not insurmountable. Nice place, quiet and convenient to local convenience stores and the DC mall. We would definitely stay here again.
