Nice getaway with the family!

Great getaway from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had the best time and the most extrodinary stay in Tennessee. The cabin itself was perfect to come back to after long days of hiking. Everything was beautiful and comfy. The staff that we did interact with was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Very conveniently located so close to town which made for good time for travel when going out. I would definitely stay here again (might be very soon) and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was very nice, clean and seem to be well maintained. We had plenty of room for our family. We liked that we didn't have to check in,and could just go right to our cabin. Proerty manager called the next day to see if everything was good. Wished it had a firepit, but the hot tub and screened porch was nice. The only thought would be, towels they supply aren't many. Bring some of your own if you stay more than a couple of nights and are planning to use the hot tub. We'd definitely rent this cabin again.

Four Seasons Summer

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were overall pleased with our rental and although some of my comments may seem petty I believe they could improve the future experience with just a few minor adjustments. Our cabin was very dark inside, 4 light bulbs were either out or burned out during our stay. The grill was very old and the grill brushes were not something I wanted to clean the grill with. There was no binder with instructions for the door locks, hot tub, grill timer or trash pick up or check out procedures.There were no hooks in any bathroom to hang shower or hand towels. Again this may seem petty but two other members of our family had issues that were much more of an inconvenience than ours, such as a refrigerator that didn’t work for almost 48 hrs upon arrival. Another had bathroom fans that blew air in not vent it out. Not things you expect upon arrival, and my wife and I recommended Elk Springs to them. We kinda took some grief for that. So again not huge problems on our end but on some of our families it was.

Good, not great

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve rented cabins in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge about 12 times and this would fall in the bottom ranking. The cabin was not clean when we arrived. Luckily I brought dish washer and laundry detergent. The towels had a funky odor (and hair!) so I immediately washed all of them. The washing machine was broken so it took a good bit of time. I also suspect the dishes were previously washed without detergent so I washed those as well. The most disgusting thing however, was the hot tub. I specifically asked about it when making the reservation and was told it was drained and cleaned before check in. Very clearly this was NOT done. A person from maintenance came over but just wiped down the insides and got the funk out of the drain. Hot tub funk became the joke of the weekend and nobody from our group put a toe in it.This trip was our family Christmas. We did this instead of exchanging gifts. Out next trip to Gatlinburg will not include this property rental agency. I get it—- good help is hard to find, but there has got to be more reliable cleaning services.

A Nice Stay in the Mountains

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at a property called Four Seasons for a week.Elk Springs took care of all of our needs and were very responsive the couple of times we called them during our stay. The Four Seasons property could sleep 14 people, but our party was only 8, giving us plenty of space.This was a 3 story property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a lower level, a main level with a kitchen eating area and den as well as a 1/2 bath and an upper level with another seating area, bedroom with a bath, a pool table and video game table.All of the bedrooms had king or queen size beds and one room had a bunk with 2 queens.There was a hot tub on the lower level and a grill on the main level.There were several outdoor decks, all with furniture for seating and one of the decks on the main level was enclosed with screen.The kitchen was nice sized and had plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware and glassware.The inside was very clean.There were some things that weren't so great however.The living room furniture was truly awful, particularly on the main floor. The cushions were flat and wouldn't stay pushed back against the back of the couch, one of the cushions on the main floor was actually torn open in the back and we weren't aware of it until we began to see the pillow fill on the floor. The couch on the upper floor was so worn down that you sunk down into it.The grill was so dirty we chose not to use it and because it was so dirty, we were afraid to use the hot tub, so didn't even raise the cover.The bunk bed looked like the wood was cracked, so we wouldn't allow anyone to sleep up on top, and the lower bed seemed to have something wrong with the frame you sunk down into the mattress on one side.The property did come with some starter soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap and toilet paper, but not nearly enough.You may also want to plan to bring your own towels as they were very abrasive.We would definitely stay in a

Nice home but dirty

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The porches were not cleaned up at all. There was sticky food stuff all over the table outside by the grill. The grill itself was filthy and most definitely needs replaced or refurbished. Leaves and dirt everywhere. I understand there will be leaves at autumn time but they didn't even try to sweep up anything. Porches were very dirty. The outside cigarette container caught on fire as there was paper and filth in it and it wasn't cleaned out. The cushions on the side porch were FILTHY and not even placed correctly on the chairs. The back was towards the front, the were placed sideways instead of vertically..the cleaning people didn't even place the dirty cushions correctly which, by the way, are removable for cleaning. They zip on and off and should have been laundered. The foot stools were all over the place and the table out there was gross and unclean too. There was ZERO dish detergent (like Dawn) to be able to wash down the counters and filthy tables with. There was food crumbs on the black chairs in the dining room, obviously not cleaned. The wet smelly mops and brooms and buckets were left in the corner of the kitchen. The arcade machine was broke too! This home needs revamped and updated. It wasn't ready at 3p which is your check in time. After traveling for 10 hours it's super unprofessional to ask your guests to "Find something to do" until your cleaning folks finish. How incredibly rude. By 3p that home should have been cleaned and ready to go. 2 woman cleaning that home would take at least 8 hours to do the job properly too. You need a much larger cleaning crew to be able to get in and out quicker than that. We understand each home is individually owned and will not be back to that home for sure. The staff was kind and professional, especially Carol, she's wonderful!

Spring Break Vacation

The cabin was very spacious, plenty of room for everybody to spread out and we all loved the 4 outdoor balconies. Elk springs resorts was good with communication and even text when a storm was rolling thru the area. Giving pointers on what to prep and secure before the storm hit. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was wonderful from the booking experience through to the checkout and follow-up. Our cabin had everything we needed while also being comfortable, beautiful, and roomy. The location was convenient to area attractions like Dollywood, yet close enough to get free deliveries using Walmart Plus while still being remote enough to be in the woods and surrounded by the wilderness we were looking for. The customer service team and the maintenance crew were all very kind, patient, and quick to respond to any questions or issues we had, and given the opportunity, we would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Four Seasons from July 2-25th. The cabin was immaculate and was gorgeous inside and out! Elk Springs Management was great at communication and helping answer any and all questions especially a guy named Dan. The only downside to this particular cabin is there are really no good views and you have to go to the store to get your essentials as the property only supplied a one supply of things. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin, the pool table, arcade game and especially the Hot Tub. We will definitely use Elk Springs for future trips.

FRAMILY VACATION

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of friends taking some time to relax. Plenty of room for all 9 of us. Kids slept on couches or air mattresses. Hot tub was a hit although on the smaller side for being able to house so many people in the co do, the hot tub can not accommodate. Overall we would stay again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is expensive considering the shape and lack of amenities. There were not enough towels for our party and no towels for the hot tub use. The cabin itself could use upgrades, the worst part was the horrible carpet in the bedrooms, it was actually sticky ! No one would walk barefoot on it, like I said for the amount of money we paid it should have been in better shape. We did enjoy our time there because the family was together but would never rent another cabin with so many stairs again, they need to replace the shower heads as well.

Family Christmas at Four Seasons Cabin

We were told the cabin would be decorated for Christmas and there were zero decorations for 6 children to celebrate Christmas. The house wasn't clean. The kitchen was very disheveled and under stocked. The house is very loud due to hardwood floors and no rugs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was close to the National Park and to town but fr enough from town to enjoy the quiet nd beauty of the area. The category related to the “ co diction of the property” was rated a 4 because the gas grill was too dirty to use and the arcade game in the game room did not work. We brought these two items to the attention of the property mgt. Company upon our checkout. So whoever flows us renting should have had those issues addressed.

Great cabin!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the cabin it was well-equipped and clean and in a great location. Only a couple of things that could be improved is the gas grill is really rusted out and needs to be replaced. The arcade game worked well except player 2 controls are not responsive. Other than that it was fantastic. I plan on booking a small cabin for my wife and I in the fall thanks again for everything.

Would love to stay here in the winter with all the fireplaces. My only complaints would be the downstairs shower heads need replaced and the washer and dryer are on the top floor and the washer knob needs replaced. Other than that no complaints.
