Family friendly, beautiful 2 story cabin in the beautiful Wears Valley Area. Mountain Memories is the perfect place to unwind and spend time with friends and family. Our spacious and cozy cabin sleeps 10 and is a great place to enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. The location cannot be beat, being only 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and only 15 minutes to Townsend. Both places have a ton to offer, whether you are either the outdoorsy type or love all the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Wide paved roads leading all the way to cabin, no gravel.

Walk through the front door to the wide-open floor plan that leads to the fully stocked kitchen with walk-in pantry. Cuddle up in the large living room by the fireplace and enjoy your favorite show on our 75-inch smart TV. Next, step outside on the large, covered patio where you can enjoy the outdoor fireplace, watch your favorite team play on the 50-inch smart TV, and grill up whatever your heart desires on a new Weber gas grill. On each side of the Living room, take your pick from 2 master suites each with king size log beds and large bathrooms with walk-in tiled showers. Make yourself at home in these rooms with walk-in closets so you don't feel like you're living out of your suitcase.

Take a trip downstairs and let the entertainment begin! Try your luck at a game of pool while watching your favorite sports team. Then take a left into the massive media room, equipped with an 86-inch TV, JBL sound system, shuffleboard, BossToss, GoldenTee, and a fridge to keep your drinks and snacks cold. No boredom here! After a long day, step out on the lower patio and enjoy a soak in the hot tub. When it's time to go to sleep, take your pick from 4 over-sized bunks or the 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and adjustable base. The downstairs bathroom has a jetted tub with shower and is right across the hall.

In the summer, our guests enjoy free access to a beautiful seasonal community pool (Olympic size pool and Kiddie pool) at Honeysuckle Meadows (Open May to October) or enjoy their catch and release pond (NO license required), which is located just off Wears Valley Rd and Happy Hollow Rd, 2.2 miles from the cabin. Daniel and Joanie are amazing hosts. As soon as I opened the door I was blown away at how clean and gorgeous the cabin is!! Absolutely stunning! I stay every year in the Smokies and this cabin by far, has been the cleanest and most memorable. There was even a little welcome kit on the counter top with snacks and a heartfelt card. I loved the personal touch.There was a very generous amount of towels, toiletries, and detergent for laundry. Not once did we need to go buy more.I had my 8 month old son with me for his first trip to the mountains and they had a pack and play, high chair, and swing. We happened to bring our own pack and play but it was so nice to have those items there to use.The game room was so fun! We loved boss toss, shuffleboard and my husband was obsessed with Golden Tee! I'm worried we will now need to find one for ourselves! The pool table was nice and so was the extra fridge for ice cold beverages. The TV is huge and was perfect for a movie night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of hiking. It was clean and running perfectly.I cannot say enough positive things about the hosts, the cabin, and our experience in their lovely home. And let me just say, We saw bears every single day! It was so beautiful to see a mama and her cub on two of the nights. Don't forget, bears can open car doors! One minor detail is the grill needs a little TLC, but that didn't spoil any fun. We will absolutely be back to make more memories!

The stay here was just absolutely phenomenal. Had my faimly my wife my 10 and 9 year old daughters and my 3 week old infant and my mother and father. Plenty of room for all and to arrive to find a few baby care articles already at the house was a great surprise. Will use again

Great views, plenty of space, fully furnished, and very clean. Only had one issue and the host took care of it immediately. Would definitely stay there again if we return.

Great Spring Break

We happened upon this property after a few others falling through and I think it was providence! A lovely quieter area very close to the national park. Clean, well set up for families, great views!

Spring break in the Smokie’s!

Large group of 8 adults had a lovely stay at this beautiful cabin! Very easy and FAST communication with the hosts, immediate resolution to a small repair that needed to be taken care of. Cabin was exactly as advertised with plenty of room for everyone, conveniently located, and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Family getaway worth doing again!!

Perfect house for a family of 5 to a family of 10 or more. House was well stocked, clean, neat, and beautiful. Could not ask for a better host or nicer home. Will definitely become a place we visit every year.

Christmas in the Smokies

We just returned home after a wonderful trip with our kids this week. Your cabin was such a blessing. It was roomy yet cozy, decorated beautifully, with every amenity and feature we’d ever want. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days of hiking and shopping. Then topped off with a nice fire and Christmas movies. In the 30 years we’ve visited the area at least every 5 years, we love to rent cabins. We are very picky in fact. Your cabin is in the top 3! I go through pages to find the right place and this time, we picked the right one. Thanks for the Christmas tree & decor too. It was the cherry on top. We will remember your cabin and hope to get to stay again. God bless you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect place to begin and end our days

Oh my goodness the upper porch! We enjoyed early mornings with coffee and evenings around the fireplace. The porch TV is perfect for keeping track of your favorite team. We used the large grill one night for dinner. Large pantry stored our bags and cooler, so they were out of the way. The table is perfect for a card game or two. Sink into the comfortable furniture and enjoy watching one of many options available! The beds were comfortable and so nice having adjoining bathrooms upstairs AND an additional 1/2 bath. One person in our party had the entire lower floor to herself. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of walking and driving. The hosts were friendly and very quick to respond to the few questions that we had. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place away from the craziness of the tourist areas!

Great house and location! We utilized the main deck with the tv and fireplace the most. Hot tub was very refreshing and the nice quiet location was just what we all needed.

The whole family loved staying here. The house was clean, in good condition, and comfortable. The listing is a great representation of what you'll find. The hosts were friendly and responsive when we had questions. The kids were asking when we could stay there again before we had left!

The Perfect Getaway

This cabin was perfect for our group of 3 couples and a single. So much room! Very clean & modern. The furniture was comfy and the bedrooms were spacious yet cozy. Everything was just as the pictures show. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and a few dinners. The host was very responsive to our questions both before and during our week long stay. Perfect location, beautiful sunrises on the mountain yet close enough to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg for exploring.

Wonderful cabin with excellent customer service and super clean and well maintained! The bear warnings are definitely appreciated as we saw a momma and her 3 cubs and momma tried to open my husband truck door. We of course took the owners warning and locked doors and no food in vehicle. But they are smart as momma bear still tried!!!!!

Best Cabin Ever!

This cabin has it all! We had 11 of us stay at this cabin, two families, with 7 kids between us. Was perfect for us. The 4 older boys had the bunkbeds downs stairs, the girls had the bedroom downstairs, and the 6 year old slept in the room with his parents. Each couple had their own master suite. The house had all the games and tv apps to watch. Something for every age. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough dishes , glasses, utensils, pots and pans. The cabin was very clean and spacious for our large group. Daniel and Joanie were very nice and accommodating and always answered us back if we had a question. Definitely will be back and highly recommend. We saw 5 bears our first two days there and 8 total the whole week we were there, a mama bear and 3 cubs was so awesome to see. We had the best time in the Smokies!

Great for families

We have stayed at several different vacation rentals in the Townsend/Wears Valley and this was by far our favorite yet. It's especially great if you have small children due to the extra amenities (baby gate, pack and play, etc). We definitely plan to return!
