The owners were super nice and Super accommodating when we had some last minute issues on our end. They were amazing. Remember, every stay is a 5 star stay until it is not. Owners like these are the reason why I love VRBO. Thank you so much!Awesome stay just past the Treaty Line. So, no Vampires allowed! House was super clean. It is tucked in behind another house but still pretty private. It has everything you need. Loved it!

Just know this is a remote country property. No dishwasher, no cable TV that I found, and slow internet. If you just need a clean comfortable place to cook, sleep, and bathe this is it. The Host was great!

A great location. Quick drive to see the tide pools at Beach One, Two and Three. Just over an hour drive to get to Hoh rainforest. Accommodations are clean but basic. Nice to have two bathrooms as many places in the area only had one bathroom. Not a big water heater so plan on spreading out showers if you have several people staying. WiFi is available but slow. Communication was great and responsive.

Check in communication was ok when i asked. The actual entering of the house was great Could have used kitchen hand towels for drying dishes. Water pressure was great in the showers. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could have used towel hooks and hand towels also. Pots and pans, and utensils were good. Oddly there was a salt shaker with no salt. Maybe more communication on what we needed to do on leaving. We didnt know if we should put sheet in washer or dry dishes and put them away.

Check-in: the check in message we received from the host asked as to look for a log cabin. We drove into the drive way at around 9pm and noticed there was a log cabin with people already inside. This was a little unsettling and unfortunately we weren’t able to cross verify with photos of the listing since there no network on any of our phones. We had to drive back one of us could call the host and after several attempts someone picked up and told us it was a gray house in the same lotCleanliness - Sheets seem clean. But cushions, rugs and towels didn’t look very clean.Amenities - No soapVery average experience, soured by checkin instructions

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry for the confusion at check-in — our home is located on the same property as the log cabin, which is also rented out as a vacation rental. Our house sits just behind it, somewhat secluded and tucked away, which we realize can make it harder to find at night. We’ll be updating our check-in instructions to make sure future guests can easily locate the correct house, especially if they arrive after dark. This is a home that my siblings and I recently took over in order to help care for our father who has dementia. As finances allow, we are updating it piece by piece, and we are committed to making steady improvements so that guests have a more comfortable experience. We’re conveniently located close to both Forks and La Push, yet somewhat secluded for guests who appreciate a more private setting. Your comments help us improve, and we’ll be making adjustments so that the guest experience is clearer and more enjoyable moving forward.

Upon arriving and opening the house it smelled like wet cats or dogs. We had to open all windows while we were there. The kitchen sink is so disgusting we didn’t use any dishes we bought disposable. And no dishwasher. 3 of the 4 beds were a flimsy mattress on a metal frame ( no box spring)pretty uncomfortable. A chunk of the couch was chewed. Carpet seemed dirty. Small things like no hair dryer, no trash can in the bathroom, toilet paper holders falling off of the walls, towels and washcloths were like sandpaper. Very low water pressure in the bathroom sinks. Pictures on the website are very deceiving. Back patio table was a mess not cleaned so we didn’t use that. Bare minimum in this place. I have stayed in many many VRBO rentals and I have never complained once about a house, until now. I think we should get compensation because this house was not worth what we paid to rent it.

Thank you for your feedback. This is an older home, and we do our best to represent it as accurately as possible in our listing. We are also a pet-friendly rental, so on occasion a previous guest’s pet may leave behind wear, such as the chewed sofa corner you mentioned. That sofa is already on our list to be replaced. My siblings and I have just recently taken this property on so that we can provide care for our father who has dementia. While balancing that responsibility, we are working diligently to make improvements to the home and create better experiences for our guests. We are in the process of updating the property as quickly as we can while still keeping it available for families and guests to enjoy at an affordable price. We strive to remain both pet-friendly and budget-friendly, but with the added wear and tear that comes with it, we are strongly reconsidering that approach so we can better ensure situations like this don’t occur in the future. We truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve.

My roots are deeply tied to a rural island in Alaska called Prince of Wales Island, where I grew up in a close-knit community. My family moved to Forks, WA when I turned 15 after my father passed away, for my mother to have some support from her family. From a young age, I was immersed in the hospitality world, thanks to my mother, who ran a variety of small-town businesses. Whether it was cleaning rooms, managing bookings, or helping run our family laundromat, I was involved in it all by the age of 10. Hospitality feels like second nature to me—it’s in my blood. 😊

This property holds a special place in our hearts as it belongs to my parents. As the eldest daughter of my siblings, I now share the responsibility of caring for my aging stepfather, who was the steady rock by my mother’s side. Sadly, we lost my mother recently, but her warmth and dedication to hospitality live on through us. Together with my younger siblings, I’ve stepped up to continue the family tradition, pouring love and effort into making these vacation rentals as welcoming and comfortable as possible. 💕
