Spend your days kayaking from the private dock, swinging in a hammock on the private beach, or catching epic marsh sunsets from the front porch. Whether you’re chasing adventure or pure relaxation, Holland Huis delivers it all—now with an extra splash of comfort.

Your Space:

Upper Level-

Two elegant bedrooms, each with plush king beds. Master bed has adjustable inflateable matress comfort selectors for those needed a softer or firmer sleeping style.
A spacious living room perfect for gathering.
A formal dining room for memorable meals.
A chef`s dream kitchen featuring professional-grade Viking appliances, a wine cooler, pull-out pantry, and an oversized island with extra seating.

Lower Level- (Lower level is only attached to the house via outdoor staircases, please plan accordingly)

A private, detached suite with a queen bed, a twin-over-double bunk bed, and a cozy futon.
Easy access to the screened-in patio, where entertainment abounds with ample seating, a ping pong table, and a refreshing pool surrounded by lounge chairs. (Please note pool is not heated at this time)

The backyard is an oasis for relaxation and fun. Cool off in the private pool (pool is not heated), relax on the private beach, sway in the hammock, or gather around the fire pit under a starlit sky. The kitchen is beautiful. The house is very unique and fun to stay at. It was a colder week in February so we didn't get to enjoy the property to it's fullest but no complaints!

the property was amazing! the outside areas are awesome for good family time playing ping pong, basketball and the pool. location for bringing a boat wasn’t ideal for getting to the river with the tides but overall great place and we had an amazing time!

Location was great and house was very clean. The pool was not heated which was advertised as such when we booked the home. We could not use it without heat which was very disappointing. The host was unresponsive when asking about it up until the very last day we were there. Many of the smoke detectors were missing or not working and the railing on the upper deck was loose and some of the stairs did not have a handrail which was concerning. We could not use the grill as both propane tanks were empty which we did not realize until we were ready to use it. Host did respond to that request.

Family Vacation to Scallop & Swim

Beautiful property just like the photos! We loved the pool and ping pong tables after long days out in the water! S’mores in the fire pit is a must! The kayaks were a ton of fun and so nice to launch from the doc. We enjoyed coffee off the master in the AM watching the wildlife. The house was stocked and clean. 5 stars for sure!!

Scalloping!

This house was perfect! We shared the house with another family with kids and had everything we needed - from ping pong table, board games, basketball hoops, kayaks and even floats for the pool! The kitchen was top notch and had tons of storage and cooking necessities. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

All around great house

The house was very clean and location was awesome! Absolutely loved the screened in area under the house that’s also connected to the pool. Having water on the back of the house and across the road, there’s going to be insects so it was nice to be able to hang outside at night and not have to worry about all the bugs. We also loved that the house had board games because we forgot ours at home. The house provided entertainment for each age group.

Nice area and home

The area was stunning. The house was nice. A mix between vintage and modern, but done tastefully. I enjoyed everything. The pool was a bit chilly in the cooler months so a heater would be a great addition. The master bedroom mattress could be updated. But overall a nice experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we held a company retreat at the Holland Huis, and it was everything we had hoped for. The chefs in the group loved the kitchen, with all the high end equipment and gadgets. The outdoor people enjoyed exploring the surrounding waters via canoe. The whole group went fishing on a rental pontoon boat across the street at Twin Rivers Marina, which was a blast. All of us enjoyed the beach and firepit in the late afternoons and evenings, and the pool was a great place to hang out. We will definitely be back next year.

I was saved by some wonderful neighbors that helped me navigate the very tricky channels out to the gulf. Water is very shallow and I could only come and go at near high tide. Pool was great. Master bathroom door needs repair. We had 2 good days and one bad weather day. Snorkling was fun but the croud was crazy on Saturday and not a lot of scallops. I went on a fishing trip with Hang-um High and we caught a huge number of fish...

I am so sorry you had trouble navigating the channels! The water can get to be 4-5" during low tides, but is typically always passable. We have replaced the master bathroom door. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you stay with us again soon!
