House was perfect! Had everything needed to kitchen to cook and bbq. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Ice chests and mats for beach were helpful. View and location were great!

Best Vacation Ever!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mele Kai is absolutely beautiful. The house is well laid out for a large family, with plenty of space. The kitchen has every utensil imaginable, allowing my Chef daughter to whip up some great meals. The location could not be better - equidistant between Shipwreck Beach and Breneke's - it's an easy walk to both. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the decor is really cool - posters from movies shot on the Island. We had a blast discovering new restaurants in Poipu and Koloa, both nearby. I highly recommend this house when visiting Kauai. It's a great place, and you will not be disappointed. It was definitely one of the best family vacations we've ever taken because we felt so comfortable at Mele Kai.

The house was very roomy and well stocked. Furnishings were Hawai’in themed but not built for comfort. The queen beds were great but futon was uncomfortable for a teenaged girl. The views were incredible. We had a couple of minor issues which were responded to immediately and we were able to get a slightly later checkout which we really appreciated.

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay with family. Plenty of room and amenities for all of us. The views were spectacular from all of the rooms and so easily walkable to the beaches. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.

Kitchen was fully equipped. Air conditioning worked like a charm. Plenty of hot water. Great location. Watched whales from the deck. Plenty of beach equipment and towels.

Loved our stay! Property was awesome! Very clean, no bugs, beautiful view! Easy check in and out. Location is great. Close to many restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. Would Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

This home was everything the description and photos showed. It was wonderful all around the property. Great views of the water and close to restaurants and the beach. My family and I created wonderful memories during our vacation and will want to stay here again!

Poipu - quick visit

Great location and beautiful views of the morning sunrise. Though we had some serious rain and wind, the accommodations were very comfortable (and dry!). The proximity to the beach was nice as we enjoyed our time walking on the beaches. The open wall to the main bedroom took some getting use to, but we easily adapted to this space. It's a beautiful location.

Relaxing Stay

The home has an open concept, great for a couple or a couple with children. The view is amazing. We loved the deck on the ground floor, it was very relaxing in the evening. You could walk to one of many beaches in the area if you liked, but the neighborhood is friendly, quiet and clean.

Perfect location and amazing home

What a wonderful property. The views were great. Location was beautiful. Close to the beach, food, shopping, etc.. home has everything you need. Super easy to work with property management. Would definitely stay here again. If you are searching for properties to rent, look no further.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Mele Kai! Such a spacious lovely home with gorgeous views. Quick response from the staff for any questions and a beautiful walking path very close by. One thing to be aware of if traveling with kids, the lower bedrooms are not overly sound proof with the slatted doors but we made it work! Would absolutely stay again.
