Hi Justin, First of all, I'm very sorry we were only able to refund you for the days after your initial night, for all of the inconvenience caused, and that we did not meet your expectations. The property is downtown and like many downtown areas it has a number of homeless people that go through trash cans looking for bottles cans etc.. as they often do in many downtown cities. This is most likely the "rummaging" noises that you heard outside the apartment. Because we have never had a security issue to date (we've had 176 reservations through various rental sites) we placed the fake videos cameras mentioned only as an extra deterrent. I will also see about moving the trash cans to a different location on the property so that it is not a concern for future guests. In regards, to the cleanliness - you never mentioned anything in our communications about this? Again my deepest apologies for the discomfort you felt and the inconvenience, Tim

We would like to clarify that we have limited control over the lot next to our units and the adjoining property as well.
