Cute town house in a nice gated neighborhood. The beds could have been more comfortable and it needs some TLC and minor repairs. But overall we had a great stay.
The property was not the one I originally booked. I was told there was some type of accident and I was âupgradedâ to a 5 bedroom. It was a downgrade. All the walls were patched and needed painting. The railing on the stairs is broken and the top stair tread has been screwed back on but the screw sticks out. Definitely a safety issue. There is not enough dishes or silverware no baking dishes I was told there were. no hand soap or hand towels I had to go out and buy some. There was only one towel per person and they had long black hair in them. We had to go out for soap to wash them to find out the dryer doesnât run hot. It took 3 hours to dry 10 towels. Glass top table unsteady almost fell off while we were playing games. The beds are very cheap and not comfortable my sister fell in the downstairs bathroom as the vent was completely blocked with fuzz and the a/c vent was closed. The walls and floor got slippery without ventilation and the carpet was non skid. I did report this and the management company came immediately and fixed. She had to cut her vacation short and return home with the kids. The dishwasher was full of standing water and smelled bad we didnât use it for fear of it overflowing. I contacted the host about all of these issues and the response was to go to the dollar store and buy what I needed and he would reimburse me. I didnât feel I should have to do that on my vacation. I also requested a credit back since the property was so disappointing but was told no

Some good and bad. The good: new washer and dryer, new refrigerator, furnished a portable grille, replaced leaking bath faucet. The bad: dirty floors, black mold in bathrooms, mismatched and burned out bulbs, cracked floor tiles, no sleeper sofa, patio had wonky door and torn screens. The biggest issue was that the clubhouse and pool were closed.
Not a five star as decor and furnishings are dated and extremely used. Not a four star as an inventory of household mechanics should be done. Disposal was jammed, Dishwasher was not draining( HOWEVER, it was replaced necessarily with a brand new one during our stay), can opener could not open a can made out of butter as it is so dull. Chefs knife handle is unusable due to broken handle. Vacationers should not need to call maintenance personnel about all of these items. They should be reconciled before check in. Maintenance personnel was extremely responsive, prompt, and polite. Loved the location for everything in the area.
Worst experience ever. The host was horrible, literally gave us the worst property they had because they decided to give our property that we booked to someone else. There was holes in the wall, broken shower faucets that were barely on the wall, black mold in bathroom, broken head boards and so much more. The hot tub didn't get warm at all. It was literally like a cool pool instead of a hot tub. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, ever.
I'd like to start with a positive and say that the location of this home was very good and the neighborhood was not too bad. The pool, hot tub and clubhouse were all very nice amenities . The downside is the home itself. The positive I would say is the master bed was not too bad but the other 5 beds were all very uncomfortable, cheap and need to be replaced. So many maintenance issues...the front of the refrigerator is rusted out and the ice and water do not work it looks very nasty. There was a faucet leaking constantly in the middle bathroom. That resulted in water constantly being on the countertops, there was also a wall that had mold and damage around the showerhead. That was so disgusting I really had to have them come and fix it. We noticed that when we were changing the pillow cases out during our stay one of the pillows had blood stains all over it. The condition of the furniture in the living and dining room were dirty and stained. The floor tiles in the lr are all cracked. An outlet in the master br was broken and cracked. One of the drawers in the bath vanity was apparently broken and instead of fixing the just affixed the front so there was no operating drawer. One of the toilet paper holders didn't have a spindle so the tp had to be set on the counter and of course it was the same counter with water all over it. The washer leaked but we fixed that. One drawer in the br still had women's undergarments in it. There are old water stains on most of the downstairs ceilings. The bulbs in the baths were mismatched or missing. Every TV had to be dealt with to get to power on and once we did there were no batteries in the remotes. The screened in area was completely ripped so it didn't keep bugs out and anyone could reach in and unlock our door. Out of all the blinds in the entire home only 3 actually were operable. The final straw was when we realized that NONE OF THE WINDOWS IN THE HOME LOCK. So any point in time anyone can open a window and enter the property. The owner told me to contact the property manager. He sent a guy to patch the walls, replace the faucet and put batteries in the remote. He put a coat of spackle (mud) on the moldy wall in the bathroom and never came back to finish. They basically told me I shouldn't spend my vacation worrying about maintenance issues.Old reviews showed these same issues and the owner said he fixed them.TOTAL LIE. NO REPAIRS ARE BEING MADE. House is a rental property and towels and bedding reflect this. The house sleeps 8 a cot, 3 bathrooms, living room kitchen diner. Quite cramped in kitchen due to furniture but fully equipped with washer/dryer good size fridge freezer. The jacuzzi and outdoor area is poor. Two out of the four outdoor chairs are cracked and the jacuzzi was filthy on the outside. The communal pool was very neglected with rubbish, old socks, bottle tops lying around. I went twice over a 3 week period and nothing had improved. The house is in a good location but the community is very mixed between renting and permanent residents. The security gate into the complex broke 10 days into my visit and was still out of action 12 days later. Ok house but the communal areas needs some up keep. The handyman to the property was very helpful even coming out at 9pm to silence a beeping smoke detector.
Making long story short, for this property you should to give a chance to put 10 stars clean, well located, everything cliserestaurants, groceries stores, gift shops, all attractions.
The property was not very clean. A couple of the rooms smelled like dog, hair was found in beds, under beds, along baseboards. Ants were found in kitchen. Ice maker did not work and outlets in upstairs bathrooms stopped working on first day. The neighborhood was also not the greatest, although it is a gated community. The place where you have to take trash to becomes very cluttered as the whole complex is putting garbage here. The property seemed to be in need of some much needed normal maintenance.
I most definitely enjoyed my stay there. The location is very convenient to everything and the property was all I expected. It had everything needed as far as kitchen supplies and such.
Certainly good for a family wanting Disney attractions. For the golfers not so great. Courses may be 8 miles away but that means at least 1/2 hour if youâre lucky.
You canât get any answer on the phone for problems but emails are answered right away.
In talking to other rentals we certainly had the best townhouse.
This property was very nice. Spacious and clean. The pool area was great. The only problem was the toilet in the master. It worked but the bolt holding it was loose.

We made a last minute stay at this property because of a hurricane evacuation. We would definitely stay at this property again, but it could be a 5 star property if the owner took care of some issues. The hot tub on the porch didn't work. We called the first day and the management company said that this would not be fixed during our stay. One of the reasons we choose this unit was because of the hot tub. In addition the ice maker didn't work. Again the management company couldn't fix it during our stay so we were without ice. My other suggestions for this unit to make it a 5 star unit would be to add smart tvs so people could watch netflix or amazon primes. The unit could also use some touch up paint. We loved the community center with the pool and hot tub. We also the used the work out center and pool table at the community center. We didn't get a chance to try out the theater at the community center. We also enjoyed the convience to both Disney and Universal. Again, we would stay at this unit in the future, but wish that some of the things could have been fixed during our stay.
We absolutely loved our stay here! It was close to universal and a lot of great restaurants. We loved how comfortable the master bed was! The kitchen was stocked with all utensils and pans that we needed to cook our entire stay. We hope to come back to your lovely home!
We enjoyed two weeks of family time at this townhome. I will list my observations on this location.
+ Communication with owner was swift and helpful
+ Price was far less than what one would pay on Disney or Universal property and the space available is a plus. Having our own room was a plus.
+ Codes given in advance easy access into the gated community and home.
- Some lights were out when we arrived & we had trouble with a couple of the tv's. The settings may have been off . Maintenance corrected issues. Clock in the kitchen area doesn't work should just be removed or replaced.
- Ice maker in freezer never worked nor the water dispenser. Maintenance said a technician would come never did. We bought ice which was a bummer, we were initially excited that the refrigerator had an ice maker. There were cracked and broken pieces on the outside of the refrigerator and housing for doorbell was coming off. I noted that in case no one else had so we would not be charged for damage.
+ Owner was responsive to our concerns
+We felt safe in the area.
- Banister going upstairs was sticky, I cleaned this myself. I think that is an area that is overlooked in cleaning.
+ Bathrooms, sink stove and refrigerator were clean
- Carpets and upholstery could use some cleaning/refreshing. There were some worn areas in the carpets at the seams. With so many guests in and out of the home I am sure that there is greater than average wear and tear.
+ Kids enjoyed the community pool area. It is not a large pool but it was suitable to what the children wished to do.
+ Neighbors were quiet.
- There are HOA rules in place at this community in ways of parking which for the most part seem to be ignored. THIS IS NOT THE OWNER's ISSUE HOWEVER but that of the HOA not enforcing rules. We were careful to abide by them so as not to be the unlucky ones that got called out and have our vehicle towed as the messages inside the house say can happen.
+ This home is in a residential area next to other gated communities and private homes. This keeps you out of the hub bub that is Kissimmee / Orlando. It is however close to stores and restaurants so it is the best of both worlds.
- Mattress in downstair room sags in middle
- The oven did not heat to temperature.
+ Owner had a technician out the next business day and oven was fixed with no other issues.
We did have some issues and most were addressed by the owner. Would consider this owner again for future stay.
