Perfect location for a mountain town weekend getaway! Easy to get in/out - clear communication from the owners, parking permit was easy, no red flags! The house is over 100yrs old so as long thatâs the expectation this spot is PERFECT!
We extended our trip and needed a place last minute. Weâre lucky to find this available, but then the in-laws decided to extend as well, rendering our reservation redundant. Unfortunately we couldnât be refunded for the stay, but we enjoyed some drinks on the back patio one evening while in town for dinner. There were clothes of past occupants on the floor of the small bedroom, but otherwise was clean enough for our purposes. Would have been nice to waive the cleaning fee since we did not occupy the house, but a few extra days in Crested butte is priceless.
Average accomodations in an above average location. Beds and linen need a refresh. Bathroom is bare minimum. Hot tub is a savior after a long day of turns.
Property was exactly as represented. Extremely close to restaurants, shopping and hiking. The property manager was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend.
The house was great for a four person ski trip. We were not in the house much, so the lack of a big comfy living room with lots of seating didnât bother us. The hot tub was A+ for stargazing and recovery from skiing! Location was excellent. We had some trouble figuring out the house temperature which was generally either too cold or too hot the whole time and had some issues using the oven, but the host was responsive.
I booked this at the last minute due to cancelling a Canada trip due to low/poor snow conditions. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly. The cottage is great. Itâs very clean and not drafty at all. Itâs 1-2 blocks from the Main Street in town and a 7 minute walk to the market. I highly recommend.
Great house, enjoyed our stay but not satisfied with security deposit Issues
Great home and great location... When we arrived the home was clean and we had a great stay... early on in the trip I noticed the handle on the door of the dryer was partially broken... I should have reached out to the owner when i noticed this but frankly i was busy with my kids... as we were leaving my wife had run a batch of laundry for the homeowner and put stuff in the dryer... when she opened the door the handle came off...I didn't hear anything from the homeowner asking about the handle just got a charge of over $250 to fix... Better communication by me and the home owner would likely have solved this issue better. She claims we tried to hide the damage not the case at all. As soon as we got info on the Charge I reached out and admitted the handle broke, the fact is though it was previsouly damaged!
Location location location!! So close to everything on Elk and walking/hiking - we never got in the car. The fenced in yard is great for dogs. The house is very old - but charming and clean and has everything you need.
Excellent location to town! Bed was a bit soft for our liking, but still very comfortable. So cozy! We loved having the hot tub for us and yard for our dog. Everything you need is here in this home!
This is a historic home built in 1889. Cozy, full of style and with a great backyard and playground! Be aware windows are old, floors creek and it feels like a very rustic cottage. We have great linens, amenities and the best location to enjoy town life!
