We just stayed at this house the second week in December. It has COCKROACHES. I am currently fighting with At Home Vacation rentals to get my money back. We informed them of this problem the next day as we checked in late at night the day prior. I have photos and videos. Cupboards and drawers in kitchen are full of roach feces. I was told pest control was reinforced which contained a sticky trap placed on the floor. Not even in the cupboard where they were located. All over the dishes. I also had to inform them they did not have fire extinguishers. I also informed them the pool Light did not work to which I was told it was fixed and it was not and I have proof of that too. The last night I was there, a pool tech came by and had to hard wire the light to stay on and replace the switch the next day. I have NEVER stayed in a place infested with cockroaches In all my years of visiting Florida and then to be treated this way by the company not willing to compensate anything. We dealt with roaches since the first day there!! Who wants to spend their vacation dealing with roaches!!! And then you have to worry if you will bring any back home. This place could use a deep clean as well, just check the vents on the ceiling and the fans. I sure hope they get their roach problem figured out. Disgusting. Hard to deny it when I have pictures and videos. Even roaches on the trap after I placed it in the cupboard where they were located and not on the floor where you left the trap.
