We really enjoyed our stay here! There were 7 family members staying together for our son’s wedding and there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The common areas were also very big & roomy as well as the several outdoor patios & balcony’s. Very close & convenient to downtown Encinitas & beaches. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location for a North Coast stay. Good for Del Mar horse track and restaurants in Del Mar and Encinitas. It is close to I5, but not too close. The appliances are updated and worked well. We have stayed here for three trips and will likely be back if available.

The house was the perfect place to stay for our extended family. It had most everything we needed and was ideally located for our daughter's wedding venue at the Botanic Garden.The only thing which could have been better was to have A/C, or more fans, for the main floor. We had a few unusually hot humid days. Fortunately the ground floor, where all the bedrooms were located had central air.

A truly relaxing experience. The home was spacious, with sooo much natural light and the most beautiful landscaping. The mattresses were the most comfortable we have possibly ever slept on. So nice to have plenty of unobstructed parking for our guests. Would definitely recommend,

Great location and light-filled space

We rented this home while attending a large family gathering. It was a great place to relax in and offered spaces for those who had to work online while there. It was also a lovely space in which to host extended family.

This is a lovely place to stay. Great outdoor spaces, including a meditation garden with fountain and a balcony for two. Generously sized bedrooms with comfy beds, large living room area that was a great conversation spot, and very well-equipped kitchen. A lot more room than we needed for five adults, but the extra space was appreciated. Host was very responsive, gave us some good ideas for restaurants and beaches. The mile walk to the beach is accurate and a pleasant trip. Definitely a great Encinitas house and location.

Overall lovely

Property was clean and expectations were clear and minimal. Keeping this on our list to stay again - we fell in love with Encinitas and this property gave us the space to do so.

Very private home. 10 minutes to Cardiff State beach. 5 minutes to The Taco Stand. Very clean. All bedrooms on first floor. Big open upstairs with nice kitchen. Nice deck area.

Big relaxing house

Wish we were not so busy in the area so we could hang out at the house and in town a bit more. We traveled with extended family, there were six adults and two 8 year olds. Plenty of space for everyone.

Over the years, we've stayed at several places along the Northern San Diego County coast, including some pretty fancy ones. This was one of our favorites. The floorplan is a little unconventional -- with bedrooms on the first floor and living space on the second -- but it worked really well for us since we were dealing with some mobility issues. With two queen and two king beds, our family of 6 (grandparents, parents aunt and teen) had perfect living accommodations. The house is huge. I don't think they list it in the description, but it's about 3700 square feet. The only real issue we had is the the AC is not sufficient to cool the house. Bedrooms were very comfortable, but living space upstairs was pretty hot. It has a great deck to sit on in the shade; actually it has multiple decks to sit on. The property was shady, mostly hard-scaped, and very pleasant for just chilling with the family. And it does have an ocean view from the 3rd floor balcony.I was concerned about the distance to the beach. Yes, it's .9 miles to Moonlight State Beach, which is an awesome beach, by the way, but it's not 1 mile to the ocean. It is less than .5 miles to many food places, coffee shops, etc., which was really convenient. The whole family enjoyed the stay and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Hidden Zen, Overt Value

Was very pleasantly surprised with the neighborhood and the home, which is perfect for a family gathering of three generations like ours on the occasion of a promotion to HS of one of our grandchildren. The neighborhood vibe is so much like ours in a seaside community in Santa Cruz County. We loved the crow’s nest, oversized bedrooms, open kitchen, oversized living area and the privacy afforded by trees/shrubs bordering the property. Will return as often as we can. Customer service was impeccable. Thanks for a memorable stay!!!

Wedding weekend

Very spacious with lovely patio areas. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Quiet neighborhood. More than enough room for our group of 7 adults. House is best suited for two sets of adults in the master suites with children in the bedrooms sharing the Jack and Jill bath. One of those bedrooms had no place to hang clothes in the closet, only shelves, and no bedside tables and lamps We also would have liked a few more towel racks in the bathrooms. WiFi didn’t reach the two back bedroom suites though fine in other rooms of the house. Dishwasher worked but isn’t properly secured under the counter.

Week in Encinitas

We spent a fabulous week at this spacious and wonderful home! The house is just like it's advertised. The town of Encinitas is so cute and it's just a few shorts minutes to the beach. The house is well stocked, so it makes making meals at home so much easier. And they had beach accessories available as well. One big take away I hope they do, is the house is in desperate need of hooks in all the bathrooms. Since the house is so close to the beach, the rooms can feel damp, which doesn't help in drying towels after showering, so it was a bit frustrating when there was no place to hang anything - from hand towels to larger hooks for the larger bath towels. A cheap fix for a huge improvement. But, we would definitely rent this house again. We had the best time!

Large, peaceful house with multiple patios

Our family of 3 stayed for ECNL Playoffs and invited another player and her mother to stay with us. The house was much larger than we expected and had several pleasant patios. It was very quiet and had spaces for everyone to relax. The bedrooms are all downstairs but the entire first floor smelled of mildew. We weren't sure if the mildew smell emanated from the washing machine or something in the housekeeping closet. There were dehumidifying things around the first floor, so perhaps this is an ongoing issue in a house of a coastal town. The master bedroom memory foam mattress was too soft and sagged on one side. Upstairs seemed more updated and didn't smell of mildew, though not all the stove burners worked at the same time. We ended up ordering take out and going out to eat due to the stove. The contact person was responsive but there wasn't anything to be done during our 3 night stay. If the mildew odor issue was addressed, we would definitely stay again.
