Really nice in-law cottage with a lovely patio and garden. Close to freeway and Grand Lake Theatre, plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby. TV was a problem but Wi-Fi worked and we used our own tablets most of the time. Washer & dryer needs some knobs replaced but host was responsive & friendly about helping us find a workaround. Washed clothes just fine. Vehicle parking on street or at public lot nearby. Very nice place and Iâd stay again!
This place was perfect for my dog and I. It had all the amenities needed for a little getaway. Neighborhood was clean with lots of cool restaurants and shops. Cottage was a standalone unit with a lovely back patio which I pretty much had all to myself. Spoke with the owner and he's upgrading the TV to something bigger. I also experienced an issue with the dryer not working and was assured it would be fixed. The couch was a little uncomfy and not good for lying down. Would definitely stay here again.
Iâm semi-retired and enjoy a lifestyle that balances relaxation with discovery. Traveling has always been one of my passions â I love learning about different cultures, meeting people, and tasting local cuisines wherever I go. Here in the Bay Area, I especially value the cultural diversity, vibrant food scene, and welcoming community.
I really like the Piedmont and Lake Merritt neighborhoods because they have everything close by â great food spots, a lively farmersâ market, and even a classic movie theater. Piedmont is quiet and family-friendly, while Lake Merritt has a fun, energetic vibe with beautiful lake views. On weekends, I love walking by the lake, grabbing brunch nearby, or visiting the Grand Lake Farmersâ Market and catching a movie at the Grand Lake Theatre. Itâs such a nice mix of calm and convenience.
The property has a great location and a cozy living feel. Itâs equipped with a modern heating and cooling, a new kitchen and bathroom, and in-unit laundry. Youâll have everything you need in a comfortable, convenient setting.
