This unit was very comfortable and spacious. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer and full-size kitchen. Great living area to relax in at the end of a long day exploring the city.Location was perfect very close to the city and Ballard yet peaceful and quiet. Was wonderful to be able to have an assigned parking space
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this quaint apartment. It has everything we needed and was so comfortable and cozy. Will definitely use and recommend this property.
What a great place. We thought this would be great even for a week because of how comfortable the room felt. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The location was perfect for us since we were going to Elliot Bay Marina.
Weâve stayed here before and Jackie is excellent to work with. Great place to walk our little dogs and so close our daughter, son in law and easy to get to.
Thank you for sharing your space in such a great neighborhood with a dedicated parking spot! You really need to stock your apartment with the very basic things that people need when they travel. We had one roll of toilet paper for 5 days! We couldn't find any stocked anywhere in the space. There were also no dish towels, no washcloths, and no sponge/brush to do dishes. Also one trash bag for our entire stay. When it was full we searched for more, but there were none to be found.
The apartment was great for our 6 night stay. Light and airy space, good size kitchen and eating area. Also perfect for guests that visited us. We liked the immediate neighborhood, felt cozy.
Great home base for visiting Seattle. Apartment was the perfect size. Designated parking spot right out your door, which in Seattle is a huge plus. Would definitely book again.
For what we needed, the studio was perfect. Parked for the weekend, accessible transit close by to get down to the main sights. Comfortable beds and great to have facilities for breakfast & chill out after a long day out & about in the city. Able to walk to a grocery store for supplies & some restaurants close by to walk to for dinner.
Quiet and comfortable! Owners were quick to respond to questions. This rental included everything we needed- bonus that it had a washer/dryer⊠we got caught in a downpour more than once!
This was a great getaway spot. We traveled for both work and pleasure. Easy to get to many downtown locations without the hassel of being downtown. Quiet neighborhood with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Gas fireplace and A/C so comfortable year round.
This was such a great find! Located close to downtown and public transportation. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Next time we visit Seattle we will arrange to stay again. Tate was very accommodating and got back to us in a timely manner when we had questions. Thanks so much!
The unit was very nicely located. The reserved parking spot was perfect. However, I wish that they could spend a little effort and have some decent forks, spoons, and knives. It would be nice if there would be some plastic baggies and maybe some saran wrap in the kitchen. The little items that make a visit more comfortable. Also, the light bulb at the top of the stairs is out.
This is place you want to stay. 10,000 Stars. First the studio is amazing and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is spectacular. You are literally 5 minutes from Elliott Bay Marina. Perfect for outside dining, strolling, boat watching. The neighborhood also has an expansive ocean front park. The restaurants in Magnolia are top notch. Then, you are fifteen minutes to Pikes Place and downtown. You are also near other towns like Edmonds and the ferry to Vashon Island. So much beauty surrounds you. Outstanding stay.
I knew the area and it's a great neighborhood to walk in and the unit is pet friendly. we had bikes on the back of our car and it was a safe place with off street parking. There is a fireplace which is nice if you have a raining day, which we did not. On the map it is close to the rail yard but we did not hear any noise, the neighbors were quiet also. The washer and dryer was great since we had been traveling for weeks. The interior paint could use refreshing but everything was clean. We would definitely stay there again.
This private studio apartment above a garage is wonderfully appointed. It was great to have a private parking space off the alley. The small landing at the front door had a beautiful view of Mr. Rainier. Inside we had a well designed space with full kitchen, flat-screen tv, comfortable seating, comfortable bed, laundry facilities and a large bath with a shower/tub. It was truly everything the two of us needed and more. Lovely inside and out!
I like the place, however, I think this place needs some deep cleaning. Bed sheets had dog hair, AC filter was exposed and showed a lot of dust. Some of the kitchen pans were dirty, had to rewash everything before using.
The shower is not draining well. The 2nd day of showering I slipped in the tub, hit my head on the faucet. I am guessing that the slow drain contributed to the increased slipperiness on day 2. Also, the non-slip decals in the tub are peeling off.
Never figured out the T.V., bummer during March Madness. And, never figured out the fireplace. Other than that, all was great. Would stay here again.
Stayed here for a wedding with my girlfriend and another couple. The place is complicated to get into with multiple entryways and tenants living in the building. One tenant was displeased with us for not understanding how to properly enter the unit the first night, telling me that we were supposed to park and enter in from the alleyway. Apparently we parked there incorrectly as well because he made sure to let us know on our checkout day. The property manager wasnât flexible with check in times which I can understand but just be aware if you need to get in earlier than 3 PM. Also the sofa bed didnât have any sheets or blankets available anywhere that we could find. All together, the place is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep but this wouldnât be the first place Iâd recommend for an ideal stay, especially for the price.
The owners, Nathan and Jacque Decker have lived in Seattle for 20 years and enjoy hiking, skiing and playing with their three daughters in such a beautiful city.
