Everything from this house was great from location to the host being amazing,Teresa was checking on us the whole time to ensure our stay was great and it was we will be using this property in the future no doubt
For anyone tall that is traveling the place is great but the parking area is small if you have a big vehicle and the ceiling height is about 6â4â and Iâm 6â6âI didnât realize that when I booked but all in all a 5 star stay in a great location!
Stayed during the Fremont solstice and you cannot beat the location of this VRBO. Walking distance to the zoo, downtown Fremont and the E line bus to Seattle. Best lower unit weâve ever stayed in.
This was an exceptional place to stay! Close to restaurants, the Woodland Zoo and transit. The house was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we could need. Teresa was fantastic and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend this home!
City Haven III was perfect for our family of fourâs recent stay in Seattle! The location is fantastic to so many different areas (downtown, Ballard, Green Lake, Fremont, etc). We especially loved the short four block walk to the zoo! The owners did a fantastic job making this basement apartment feel cozy and we were pleasantly surprised with how light and bright it felt. We would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic spot!Location was perfect for both walking in the neighborhood and driving around the city. Teresa was communicative and helpful. I LOVED her info binder that included everything I need to know about the property and great recommendations for things to do and eat. It was thoughtful, funny and personal. The property was immaculate and nicely set up. I appreciated the dedicated parking space and having a washer/dryer.I will absolutely stay again and have recommended it to Seattle friends for when they have people visiting.
Great 2 bedrooms house. Check-in was easy with the code to door being sent prior to our arrival. Directions were detailed and accurrate. Kitchen was well supplied and coffee was provided. Seattle's Best is really good coffee. The house was clean and not cluttered. The location was perfect just 12 minutes or so feom downtown. Easy drive and we found that public transportation was available just a 1/2 block or so feom the house. We loved this location and the house. The ceilings were a little low but that was not an issue foe any of us. But taÄș people like 6'4 or taller might have some issues in the asement part that we stayed in. It was not an issue for us. If and when we return to Seattle, we would stay here again.
The apt was exactly as shown, very clean, entry lock easy, and communication with host excellent. All the basics are included; perfect for a short stay. The location couldnât be better⊠bus stops right outside! Try Lupo pizza⊠omg!
Cute little cottage! Quiet and secure. Great location to walk to the zoo, grocery store, and quaint eating establishments. And the Troll Bridge is just a short drive from the cottage.
This is my 3rd stay. Love this placeâŠalways clean and conveniently located to the Phinney Ridge area. Hoping to stay here again when I next visit Seattle.
We stayed here because I needed somethings close to the UW medical center. Location was great for that, plus good food nearby, and nice walking areas! For not being a large space, it did not feel cramped at all. It was well stocked. Parking was sufficient! The host was eaay to reach and communicate with.
City Haven III was built in response to the positive feedback we received from the original City Haven (vrbo Listing 585829) which is located right next door and upper unit of this home (vrbo listing 741854).
These homes are part of a love story that started back in 2004 when I purchased this house. The following year, my now husband moved from New York and bought the house next door. When we met, I asked him to move his garbage cans out of my driveway. But soon I started asking him to salsa dancing. And then he asked me to dinner. We fell in love! The man who bought the house next door married the girl next door (me!). Two kids and a few years later, we kept the homes a rentals and moved a few blocks North.
I left my job at Microsoft and we started buffing, remodeling, scraping and decorating these homes we've come to love. City Haven III is the result of a recent remodel that's turned this old 1920's Craftsman into a modern beauty with period charm.
We're Team Simon and our whole family works to make this a place you'll love to call home for a while. We love it! And we hope you'll love it, too.
We bought this home for the same reason you'll want to stay here.... close to Green Lake (swimming, paddle boats, golf)! Close to the Zoo (animals, outdoor summer concerts)! Grocery store 3 blocks away (last minute wine and snacks)! Right next to the express bus to downtown and close to all the great restaurants in Fremont (cook, schmook... let's go out to eat)! It's the perfect centralized hub to live like a local while still being close to everything the downtown area has to offer. Home away from home!
