L'Avenue Carriage House est un charmant 500 pieds carrés, 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain sur la 3e Avenue historique. Il peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes avec la chambre queen et un canapé-lit dans le salon. À seulement 3 pâtés de maisons de la gare, il est parfaitement situé pour se rendre à pied à tout ce que le centre-ville de Durango a à offrir. This place is perfect!! Comfortable with every amenity you need. It has a fantastic, sunny deck to relax and have coffee. It's super close to town and you can walk to most the Durango restaurants. The host was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Easy to walk to downtown for restaurants and shopping! Easy to get to Mesa Verde National Park.The TV wasn’t working and we didn’t have time to connect with host to get it working as we were out most of the day and evening.It was really hot when we were there and the bedroom was cool but the kitchen and living area were warm.Nice clean place!!

Cute cottage perfectly located in downtown Durango. The cottage itself is well decorated and very nice. My only gripe would be the parking - the bush/tree by the only parking space really needs to be trimmed back or removed since the area is already so tight. Also get rid of the fence panels, and other fence materials since the parking spot is so tight.

Thank you for your kind words about the Carriage House! We're so glad you enjoyed the cottage, its décor, and our downtown location. We're sorry the parking area was a point of frustration. To help prevent exactly this issue, our arrival instructions ask guests to park on 4th Street next to the house and not to pull into the carport, as it is too narrow for most vehicles. We recommend using the area in front of the garage only for loading and unloading. You are correct that the gate was being replaced during your stay, so the temporary removal of the gate also meant the "No Parking" sign was not in place. We'll be sure that the sign is reinstalled as soon as the new gate is complete to make the instructions even clearer for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback, and we're happy to hear you otherwise had a wonderful stay.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. The Carraige house is perfect for two people, very comfortable. High end appliances, comfy bed, nice shower all made for a great stay. It’s an easy walk to downtown Durango. We will stay here again, for sure.

The Carriage House was a delightful place to stay after finishing our thru-hike of the Colorado Trail. It was clean and spacious inside and we loved the outdoor deck. Communication with Dan was great and the location was within walking distance of everything we needed.

Fantastic Stay

Had a blast on a weekend getaway to Durango. Close to everything but far enough way to be out of the hustle and bustle when we wanted to be.
