À propos de cet hébergement

Cet appartement de luxe d'une chambre a été construit il y a environ 10 ans et se trouve au-dessus d'un garage adjacent à un bâtiment historique de 1911 sur la rue Main, dans le centre-ville de Durango, dans le Colorado. L'appartement a été entièrement rénové à l'été 2017. L'appartement est joliment meublé et dispose d'un écran plat Sony 32 pouces avec toutes les chaînes satellite sur DirecTV. Les draps sont exquis, tout comme toutes les autres commodités. Bien qu'il y ait des escaliers jusqu'à l'appartement, c'est un espace romantique et isolé où les voyageurs reviendront année après année.

Durango est l'une des plus grandes villes d'Amérique et possède de nombreuses activités récréatives et des gens merveilleux. Les restaurants et l'activité du centre-ville sont juste devant votre porte. L'appartement est adjacent au Olde Tymers Cafe et à deux bâtiments au sud de Carvers pour d'excellents petits déjeuners, repas, etc. Il y a un espace de stationnement sur la rue Main pour votre usage exclusif à seulement un demi-pâté de maisons de votre VRBO et directement en face de Carvers dans un parking bien éclairé. Tous ceux qui ont séjourné ici ont déclaré qu'ils reviendraient. C'est un joyau et c'est l'un des plus beaux endroits du centre-ville, surtout compte tenu de toutes les commodités.

Wonderful location

This place is in a perfect location for walking around downtown Durango for shopping and dining at the local restaurants. It had everything we needed and was super convenient for our stay. The place was immaculate, and the directions were very accurate. Our only complaint would be the noise from the local brewery on the weekend late nights which was no fault of the owner.

Perfect Location

The location is great! We could go out and explore all day then come home and walk around downtown Durango. The host is very responsive to any questions. Easy to unload our car from the alley, and then there are good directions to the parking spot.

Location relative to everything you would need is ideal, and you can walk to most everything. Unit has everything you would want or need for a comfortable stay. We rented E-bikes from 2 blocks away and biked the Animas river trail for half a day. Highly recommend! Condo is half a block from the main downtown Durango happenings, so there is no escaping the bar noise and train noise. Entryway is through an alley with no parking right at the condo. However, a designated parking spot is a block away, and loading and unloading can be done right at the condo. Host’s communication is top notch.

Very cute, neat & cozy apartment in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay, but found the bar across the street to be noisy and blasting music throughout the night. This may not be a regular occurrence, but we had early morning activities planned! Regardless, lovely place!

PERFECT...THIS PLACE IS CLEAN; great location, walk to everything, convenient parking; this place has everything you could need; as my wife and I are both architects, we appreciate a good floor plan and attention to the small details; we liked the door jamb detail, definitely well-constructed and clever; convenient hooks on back of doors, hooks for towels in bathroom, great instructions on using the place such as door keypad codes, printed instructions on walls for light switches, trash, etc.; and very funny coasters, don't forget to read them, the owners have a sense of humor which made us laugh; loved hearing and seeing the steam train nearby from the kitchen window in the morning; and they recycle, that's a good thing too.

The owners are Bobby Duthie, a lifelong resident and lawyer in Durango, and his wife, Lana Duthie who also has been here most of her life. We love to share our space with great people.

We renovated a historic building and added a brand new rental above a new alley garage right in the heart of Downtown and now rent the Penthouse adjacent to the garage apartment (VRBO #1642503) which is across the bridge....and it is really exquisite.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

It is remarkably quiet and it stands alone, is private, and is one-half block from Main Street in Durango Downtown. It is first class with all the trimmings.
