Experience Poipu Beach and make memories at this 2-bedroom condo at Kahala in the Poipu Kai Resort. From the moment you enter this ground floor-end unit with 1150 square-feet and quiet peaceful garden view, you will feel like you've entered a true Hawaiian paradise. The space features a fantastic king bed and 2 twin beds, perfect for a good night's sleep. With 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room, this property offers comfort and relaxation. The Living room can also be used as sleeping space with a comfortable Queen size air bed that sleeps two. As an alternative, two Futons are available for children or younger guests.

Guests can enjoy amenities like bedroom AC units, Lanai dining WiFi, Smart TV, ceiling fans, a well-equipped kitchen, and an in-unit washer/dryer. Starter coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soaps and laundry soaps are provided.

For outdoor amenities, there is a jacuzzi and two saltwater pools available for use, as well as several community gas barbeque grills that are conveniently located. A dedicated parking space (#911) is also provided, which is located within 20 feet of the front door. Self check-in with Key Pad. Note that there is NO RESORT FEE associated with these condo amenities.

Morning sunrises are also just a short walk away and a great way to start the day in paradise.

If you prefer an adventure, zip lining, hiking to scenic attractions (waterfalls), ocean tours of the Na Pali Coast, and a variety of tours/excursions are available for booking online or in the historical Koloa town. We appreciated the great communication with the host as well as having basic pantry items available (oil, seasonings, etc) and a fully stocked kitchen. Having some welcome coffee was also a plus as were the beach chairs and coolers for use. We will stay here again.

Short Walk to Poipu Beach

Loved the covered lanai with views of tropical trees and plants. The very short walk down to Poipu Beach to see the turtles and sunsets was excellent. Bed is very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay! Mahalo nui loa!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous place. The only issue we had was that it didn’t have central a/c. We knew this when we booked but it was warmer than we thought it would be while we were there. There are room a/c units in both bedrooms which made sleeping wonderful but the living areas were very warm during the day so we had to keep everything closed up. That was our only issue. Its location was perfect and very well kept up. We’ve been home two days and already miss it .

Yes, September and even early October are the warmest time of the year here in Kauai, and temperatures can vary depending on the strength of the tradewinds. For future guests, we recommend deploying the lanai umbrella during the afternoon hours — it often helps reduce indoor warming by blocking the direct sun. There is also the nearby pool, just 30 to 40 yards from our lanai, which features palm tree shade, lounge chairs, and a dining cabana—a great way to stay cool and relax during the warmer parts of the day. We were happy to hear that the bedroom air conditioning units performed well and kept you comfortable at night. It's important to us that guests can rest easy, especially after a day of exploring the island, and we're glad the A/C helped ensure a restful night’s sleep. We truly appreciate your feedback and will continue to look for ways to enhance the guest experience while maintaining the open-air charm that makes Kauai so special. Great property, exactly as listed. Great communication with hosts, would def stay again and/or use these hosts! They had anything and everything we needed for time at the beach, or extra linens/equipment for the unit. The ONLY thing that could’ve been better is the temp of the unit. The bedrooms had great portable AC units and cooled down the rooms very quickly for sleeping at night, but the living room and kitchen were very warm so we couldn’t really hang out in those areas, as it was uncomfortable. There are plenty of fans, but no AC in those areas so with warm weather, it was just not a place we could all gather together. AC unit in that area would’ve been fantastic!

Making memories

The property was as described on the beautiful! We could easily walk to both pool areas, Shipwreck beach and Poipu beach. The only things to be aware of is that there is no A/C in the main living areas, only the bedrooms. It was fine except when you went out for the day and came back to only the fans running. Also, there is not a queen size pullout couch as indicated in the pictures. It is a queen blow up mattress. Againqueen size pullout

Thank you for your review. However, it must be noted that in our description of the Living room sleeping space it clearly states that an inflatable Queen size airbed or futons are used. We have found that the Queen size airbed is far more comfortable than a pullout sleeper sofa, and that guests prefer them (i.e., sleep better). In addition, we clearly state in our description that AC units are only provided in the bedrooms for sleeping, if needed.

“Relaxing Stay with Great Location and Beautiful Surroundings”

We had an enjoyable stay at this vacation rental with a few minor points to note. The location is excellent—it’s centrally located, making it easy to access boat tours on the west side of the island as well as the east part near Lihue. While it is a bit far from Hanalei Bay, overall, we found the location very convenient.The condo resort where we stayed was beautiful, relaxing, and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of tools for cooking, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay.It’s worth noting that there is no central AC; instead, each bedroom has its own window AC unit. While they kept the rooms cool, they were a bit loud, and we had some difficulty sleeping during the first few nights until we adjusted.Overall, it’s a great place for a relaxing getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

The unit had everything that you could want, ina rental it was spacious extremely well equipped, plus walking distance to Poipu Beach and an easy drive to the beach too which we went almost every night to visit the turtles definitely made for a great memories. So happy we booked here.

We have been blessed and enjoy everything that this tropical island paradise has to offer (i.e., Making Memories). From surfing to pickleball, from snorkeling with turtles to hunting for seashell, from hiking to naps on the beach, we have no problem finding activities and relaxation on Kauai. Numbers 6:24-26

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Poipu Beach is the perfect location for all of your activities, relaxation and "Making Memories". The scenic views of the Waimea Canyon are a 40-minute drive to the west. The beautiful Hanalei Bay is a 60-minute drive to the north shore. And of course, Lihue with a Costco, Walmart and the Airport is only 30 minutes away.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

With our ground level condo, the patio/Lanai opens out on to a garden area with a barbeque and is easy access to the Kahala pool about 40 yards away. Also, the Poipu Kai Tennis Club is a 2-minute walk away for Pickleball.
