Inverness, CA. Retraite fantastique pour la famille et les amis. Deux minutes à pied Chicken Ranch Beach sur Tomales Bay - une plage locale terrible pour les familles. Passer des heures sur la plage et ensuite revenir à la maison pour profiter d'une vue panoramique sur la baie, Black Mountain et la campagne, l'observation des oiseaux et calme, les nuits étoilées.

A quelques minutes de nombreuses plages et randonnées océan et la baie à Point Reyes National Seashore et Tomales Bay State Park. Location de kayak à seulement 200 verges dans la rue.

3 BR, BA 2+ (3 douches, 1 baignoire); vue sur la baie panoramique depuis les zones et les chambres à coucher; terrasse spacieuse avec vue imprenable, wifi, télévision par câble, lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse.

Ceci est un endroit parfait pour 3 couples ou deux petites familles.

La maison principale a 2 BR, 1BA et la cuisine; gite mitoyen a 1BR, 1BA. Les deux maison et un chalet ont poêles à bois - bois de chauffage fourni. Garage pour deux voitures avec table de ping-pong pour les compétitions fougueux. Salle de boue avec douche pour un nettoyage facile des activités de jour.

Ensoleillé, grande cuisine entièrement équipée avec ustensiles de cuisine, des épices et des agrafes. (Quand nous ne sommes pas la location de la maison, nous l'utilisons pour les réunions de famille et les fêtes.) Barbecues Weber.

Un mile de Inverness magasin général, une boulangerie et des magasins, à cinq miles de Point Reyes Station épiceries, boulangerie et restaurants.

Durée minimum du séjour: pendant la haute saison (de mai 24 à novembre 30), nous avons généralement besoin de 3 nuits si vous séjournez le vendredi ou le samedi soir ou le Major vacances (Nouvel An, MLK, présidents, Memorial, Indépendance, Travail, Thanksgiving, Noël,). Sinon, minimum de deux nuits.

Great location…a classic Tomales Bay house with plenty of room and huge deck overlooking the Bay. Chicken Ranch Beach steps away from the house!!

A breath of fresh air and a great view

If you're looking for a beautiful home with space to relax, and easy access to the coast, this is an ideal spot.Our family always looks forward to staying here, and when we start to get close to Inverness, even our dog gets excited and full of anticipation for our arrival.Locke is a wonderful host, who is available if you have any inquiries. The house has everything you'd need and is comfortable and well appointed. It's a great spot to watch the clouds, take in the view of Tomales Bay, or stargaze at night. Just let your cares slip away!There's great food nearby - restaurants, grab & go, or quality grocery stores. And whether you're looking for a hike, a stroll on the beach, elk or whale watching, or watersports, it's all nearby. We can hardly wait for our next visit!We can hardly wait for our next visit!

Always a lovely place to be

This wonderful home is a true favorite for me and my family (including our dog!) As soon as we approach it, we all get excited. Perfectly situated, with a fabulous view of Tomales Bay, near to beaches and hiking, and close to tasty restaurants and well stocked grocery stores. It can't be beat! Locke is an excellent host, and the home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well appointed for a rejuvenating getaway. 5 stars every time we visit!

Wonderful place to stay

My family and I love staying at this beautiful property. It's our favorite "getaway" spot that never disappoints, regardless of the weather or the time of year. The views from the comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces can't be beat. It has easy access to beaches and walking trails, as well as tasty restaurants and markets. Even our dog gets excited when we pull into the driveway!

Always a joy to visit

My family and I are always happy to stay at this wonderful house - even our dog gets excited as we arrive. The property is comfortable and has everything you need, and is always clean and well cared for. The indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing and spending time together. And the views can't be beat! We love the location and its proximity to beaches and hikes, as well as access to tasty food in the nearby towns. We can't wait to visit again!

Very comfortable home

This is our second birthday visit to this lovely Inverness property. It worked perfectly for us - spacious and warm, with a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. In particular, I loved having a separate bedroom & bath across the deck. And the view was the best from this bed! Speaking of views, it would be great if the landscaping would be trimmed around the deck so people sitting on the deck (& in the house) could see the view of the bay.

A family favorite

My family loves to visit West Marin and stay at this lovely home in Inverness. It's location is a perfect starting point for countless hiking and beach adventures. And the views out across Tomales Bay are spectacular. There are great restaurants nearby, and convenient markets in Inverness Park and Point Reyes Station. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and always clean and cared for. And we love the coastal mid-century design and aesthetic. The host is responsive and lovely to communicate with. We can't wait for our next visit!

Beautiful weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this well loved home. The house was even nicer than the photos and well-stocked. We loved the amazing view of Tomales Bay, hanging out on the large deck, and space enough for everyone to have some privacy. My husband and I loved that we could retreat to the cottage while our kids slept in the house. We brought kayaks and were able to get on the water early…the beach is only minutes away, plus quick access to Point Reyes and incredible hiking. The only complaint we heard was that the beds, while adequate, could be updated. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful bday getaway

Visited to celebrate my birthday with my husband, mom & stepdad, cousin & her hubby, my brother and his fiance (who live in the area). It was our first visit to see my brother and the Point Reyes/Inverness area and we had a wonderful time thanks to our VRBO hosts and my little brother who did a great job as our tour guide. The home was wonderful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (even duplicates of everything you need!). We had a lovely dinner at home the first night and enjoyed being able to have the comforts of home while away and visiting from different cities. Locke was extremely helpful and considerate when sending info and quick to respond to texts when we needed (couldn't find a light switch or something). We'd really love to make this an annual trip if we can, and would choose this home every time if it's available!

Beautiful property

We came here to celebrate our Thanksgiving a bit late. Everything you could possibly need to cook a grand meal is provided. The beds are very comfy. The weather was a bit rainy (yay!) so the big windows were perfect for staring out at the gorgeous view.

For 40 years our family has spent New Year's Eve on North Beach. When we got the opportunity to buy a vacation home in Inverness we knew it was perfect! We love how close this is to the East Bay and to San Francisco. A complete retreat away from the hustle and bustle, but we can still get back to it if we need to. This house has been a great family retreat, for hiking, going to the beach or just being together for meals, reading books, watching movies and playing games. We're happy to share it with you.

Whether it's raining out or sunny, or cold and foggy, waking up in Inverness you feel relaxed after a quiet night's sleep and enveloped in the natural beauty. The large spacious deck is like an extra enlarged living room. Whether basking in some sun, ducking under the umbrella, or bundled up on a cold foggy day - drinking coffee, eating a meal, reading a book, watching the birds or having a glass of something to drink together or alone - this deck is filled with great moments and a great view!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love walking up to the house, opening the front door and.....walking onto the deck! It always surprises people to open the front door and to be on the deck and seeing the view of beautiful Tomales Bay. You can walk to Chicken Ranch beach in 2 minutes, 10 mins drive to Shell Beach and it's a short drive to any number of ocean beaches or hiking trails. A 10 minute drive to Pt. Reyes station.
