Before we even arrived, communication with host was bad at best. I pointed out a difference in price and he accused me of taking advantage of them…. I am pretty sure that pointing out something that was printed differently is not taking advantage of anyone. When we arrived the view was great, immediately saw the dining chairs were coming apart, the patio furniture was also in need of repair. The light fixture in the bathroom had dead bugs in it, the other one had a light burnt out. There were also ants crawling all over the counter, the oven wall and in the cupboard. There were only 3 bath towels, zero hand towels, not even in the kitchen. The kitchen was probably the least stocked of any Vrbo, cabin, condo I have ever stayed in. They did not have hot pads, oven pans, spatula flippers. We love the location of the building, we love the beach, the views… but for the additional 875 we were charged for 7 days of top of the regular price and fees that are triple that of other condos we have stayed at in this very same building, all booked through VRBO…. It is not worth it, and we will not be back to any of the units they run.Top that with the poor communication from the host, and then unwilling to apologize . When I told them about the and infestation… their response was that they are shocked, because they do monthly fumigation, no apology… just trying to make it seem like I might be lying because they fumigate monthly.

This rental management company just can't get it right

I read the reviews prior to renting and so some of this is on me for not trusting the earlier comments. However, much of what I was reading was related to the fees. So I did the math upfront and was willing to pay the fees on the back end, realizing that altogether, I wasn't paying more for similar square footage and location than other VRBO places. Our orientation to the place was fine. Javier showed up on time, was pleasant and hospitable and walked us through all of the necessary elements of the beautiful condo. He even came back to do a tech check when we reported that the children's TV wasn't working (that never got resolved BTW). The problem's began day 2 of our 9 day stay. Apparently, the building decided to do maintenance work directly outside of our condo. This included jackhammering and sawing into the plaster wall right under our bedroom window from about 9am-4pm every day (except during the weekend). So not only did we not have privacy (bedroom window) but the noise caused made the place uninhabitable during the daytime and the dust that they kicked up made the patio overlooking the beach unusable as well. However, the main problem here is with the rental management company.. They were completely incompetent during our experience. When we first sent them a report of what was going on, we received a text response, "not true!". It wasn't until we sent them videos of the work being done with time stamps that they said that they would look into the matter. We were told repeatedly that "this would be the last day for noise!" but other than the weekend the noise consistently would last from about 9-4 every day. After the 4th day of noise and after another video sent by text to the RMC, the reply was, "you need to check out of my property today by 2pm, you will receive a partially (sic) refund". We were surprised and upset to say the least. We have two small children who were being displaced as well. The "partially" refund was the equivalent to 2 days stay (with the fees) which were the days that we didn't stay...not really compensation for the constant jackhammering that we heard outside our condo days almost every day. The real kicker is that the building itself had an administrative office and when I went to them with my concerns, they said that the owner knew about this maintenance months in advance and apparently decided to rent the place anyway. Be careful with this one. You may be in store for a real headache.

Unfortunately we were not aware that just 2 days they will make noise. The guess paid $ 200 per night and we gave him back almost $ 380 per night. He left 2 days before by his own decision asking for a refund. The totally out of control wife came out screaming through the corridors and insulting our staff. Very bad experience with these people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Not great at all.

The internet did not work. The television did not work in either room and I could not reach the owner to fix anything after the first day. It was supposed to get fixed immediately but after he had my money I never heard from him again. Will never stay here ever again. Very horrible experience.

These people are the absolute worst of the worst. They act decent just until you pay for the room upfront then let you know there are fees upon fees upon fees extra that you have to pay and if you don’t then that’s fine they will cancel your room and it’s nonrefundable. Nicole absolutely has no character and will gladly treat you and your family like you are scum for staying with Miami Dream Rentals. Hint the dream is a nightmare and your money could be spent in a much nicer place for the prices they charge. I hope you and your family stay in a better place with better people and I wish nothing but the absolute worst for Nicole and MDR.

Don’t stay at this apartment, It’s a waste of money.

The staff didn’t understand English. When I had any problem they were useless. They charged me cleaning fee, when the apartment was not even clean. “Katy” gave me a card for the washer and dryer but it was not working when I asked for help multiple times nobody showed up. The second problem that I had was the door to the apartment was not locking. I couldn’t leave the apartment for hours. And again the front desk people were useless because they did not understand what I was talking about. I am very unhappy with their service. It’s my worst experience ever.

We apologize for your frustration, we try to do everything possible to make your stay perfect. We believe that you missed mentioning how daring you were at the time of check in, it would be very important that you pay attention to your behavior before discriminating against someone for their English. I regret that you do not have the ability to understand the operation of the lock when we explain it more than 5 times, even with the loundry card. We are sincerely sorry! We received several reports from the front desk with complaints about the way you spoke to security people. We are sincerely sorry and we believe that you should be more located in the wrong places. Gorgeous unit and location with some quirks

We loved this unit for a getaway over thanksgiving week. It was clean and right on the beach as advertised. Views were stunning. The check in process was a bit weird and informal (didn’t feel like we got a ton of info) and they charged us quite a bit to park for the week even though it’s clearly posted in the building that each unit can park one car free. There are plenty of towels and nice linens but other than that it was sparse. There were no trash bags or paper towels to get us started, no dish soap or sponge. Overall a nice stay in a great location. Would stay again.
