Rooms were very dusty. Dust and dirt flew off the fans when turned on. Hair was found on the bedsheets. Cobwebs inside and outside. Dishes had to be rewashed because they were dirty and cups had lipstick on them. Host communication was great and the house was big with plenty of room. We loved the hot tub, the pool table and arcade games. We loved being in the mountains.

Our day was great! The beds were super comfortable, and the place was spacious enough. The bunkbeds are awesome because they’re queen size so some of the younger siblings could double up. The place was cleaned really well. My only complaint would be that it was not stocked very well with pots and pans because most of them were very worn and scratched and unusable (for us). There was also only one wash rag and dry kitchen towel so be prepared to bring more if you use those type types of things. Overall, a great stay, and we even saw a bear!

Over all we loved our stay. The cabin is nice & conveniently located. The only thing we weren't fond of was the parking. We would definitely stay again.

This was a great cabin that met our expectations from the listing. The porches were nice for a cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing beverage in the evening. We were close to everything we needed but secluded enough to relax. The only loss of a star was due to the cabins dryer destroying two brand new bathing suits.

Great location real close to downtown Gatlinburg! The pool table, hot tub, and arcade game was all a hit kept everyone entertained. The mattresses and bedding very comfortable! Beautiful scenery so relaxing! Checking in and out was super easy and convenient. I'd highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again.

Pros: The house was nice, fairly clean, and pictures were accurate. The rental company was quick in response to our messages. Our cons: There needs to be more of a deep clean needed. Would have liked better communication on needing extra supplies such as no extra towels for pool or hot tub, no liquid dish soap provided, only one trash bag provided kind of thing. There were not enough blankets if your are sleeping more then just the actual beds (plus super thin blankets depending on preference if thats nice or not) parking is only good for 2 cars.

Yes. All was great. I would suggest the pillows that are black on the couch and the decorative ones could use a little cleaning. Other than that it was great. Location was great as well

We had a great stay overall. The cabin was a good size for our group of 8 and you likely could add a couple more individuals, but I think 15 would be a stretch.The game room (pool table and arcade) and the hot tub were huge hits with our group.If you're bringing a large vehicle, be aware that the driveway is very steep and difficult to navigate. We had a Ford Transit van and ended up parking at the bottom of the hill.During our stay, a few electrical circuits tripped, causing the downstairs A/C and the stove to lose power, and there was a small leak from the water heater. The owners responded and worked to resolve the issues, which we appreciated. However, a maintenance technician entered the cabin around 11:30 p.m. without any notice or knocking, even though I was told I would be contacted regarding the next steps.The cabin could also have been a little cleaner. There was noticeable dust inside and cobwebs on the decks, though it wasn't enough to affect our stay. Also, the coffee syrups were all well past their expiration dates, so don't plan on using them.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and with a few maintenance and housekeeping improvements, it would be an excellent cabin.

Caught the dream

Loved it! Everything was great. It wasn't as secluded as I imagined, but it was peaceful and very quiet. The cabin wasn't close to others. And actually never saw or heard another person.

Bach Party

Overall, we had a very good time at this cabin. We wish there would have been more essentials provided (dish pods, hand soap, extra trash bags etc.) but the kitchen was nicely stocked with cookwares that made making meals easy even for a large group of people. Checking in and out was super easy, and the host was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process--even weeks or days before our booking. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for somewhere relateively inexpensive but still close to the downtown Gatlinburg area!

The cabin was perfect for our family. Kids loved the pool table. The beds were comfy and had plenty of room. The bunk bed downstairs were full/queen which were bigger than we expected and a pleasant surprise. Kitchen was big and had pretty much everything we needed. Only thing was that there was only 1 spoon so we stopped and got some plastic ones for our visit. There is a grocery store super close that has normal prices and we stopped there for anything we needed and to get supplies. The location was perfect. There are houses all around but lots of trees and elevations so you don’t notice. The driveway is steep but roads weren’t icy when we went so was fine. If there is a chance of snow, though, I would definitely say you would need a four-wheel-drive.We would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Great stay

The cabin was beautiful and a 1 Hour Dr. from the Tyson Mcghee airport. It was really high up on a hill. We utilized the community pool. We did have to purchase beach towels and hand towels. They have most of the utensils for cooking food. There is a fridge and a coffee maker with a pot and a Keurig. There’s a downstairs bedroom with a bunkbed. The kids liked the pool table and the little arcade thing. We saw a black bear outside of the cabin two times. It was a nice and clean stay. Just a little advice that if you park in downtown Gatlinburg, it’s about 10-20 for parking. The aquarium parking is only 10. We love the aquarium the most out of everything that we did The trolley is free but it is a half hour wait. We had a great stay!

We Actually Saw A Bear!!

After "moving in" the first day, we saw a bear right by our cabin! So cool! We had a great stay. We would love to stay at a bigger cabin next time as it would better meet the needs of our son with disabilities. He didnt have enough space to utilize his "legs" (gait/walker) indoors without rearranging everything, but we made the best of it and utilized the beautiful balconies when he could tolerate outside! The beds Were incredibly comfortable! I should have checked to see what brand they used becaise it was wonderful! The traffic isnt terrible around the cabin, but it gets nousy once everyone is ourside their cabins, the sounds travel up the mountain. They also weedeat and blow the roads quite frequently so sitting outside was sometimes annoying instead of peaceful. Overall I would definitely recommend the Chasin' A Dream cabin to others!

Excellent Cabin

Family trip to Gatlinburg for Fall Break. Cabin is in Black Bear Falls Resort and is near many popular attractions. Loved the cabin and its location. Property manager was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the game room in the evenings after a day of hiking, shopping or one of the many attractions Gatlinburg has to offer. Would definitely stay here again! Bonus: We saw a large black bear at the entrance of the resort area the first evening we were there. Note: Listing states master bedroom has a private bath but it is a shared bathroom with the living area. Also, virtual check in is available but you are required to text a copy of your photo id with your face in the picture and credit card (name and last 4 digits of your card) to the property management company to prove your identity.
