Le Smoky Mountain Get Away est une cabine de luxe qui commence par une superbe grande salle avec 2 grandes cheminĂ©es. La cuisine «à rĂȘver» est complĂšte avec tous les appareils en acier inoxydable, un immense Ăźlot et du granit dans toute la maison. Toutes les piĂšces sont immenses dans cette maison, dont 2 spacieuses salles de bains principales avec douches murales en pierre conçues pour deux personnes. Cette cabine peut accueillir 12 personnes avec un trĂšs grand lit, 2 grands lits et 3 grands canapĂ©s-lits. Il y a des chambres, des salles de bains et des terrasses couvertes sur les 3 niveaux.

La salle de jeux comprend une table de billard, un jeu de fléchettes et une belle table d'échecs. AprÚs la compétition, détendez-vous dans le bain à remous sur le pont et observez la faune. Ma chose préférée à faire est de m'asseoir sur le pont et d'écouter le son apaisant des rapides forts d'une riviÚre juste à cÎté de la propriété.

Cette cabine familiale est située dans le complexe Cobbly Nob, à 19 km de Gatlinburg. Il s'agit d'une communauté de montagne privée qui se trouve sur 1000 acres juste à cÎté du parc national de Smoky Mountain. Les équipements Cobbly Nob comprennent 3 piscines extérieures à différents endroits, un court de tennis, un parcours de golf et une chapelle de mariage. Le Climb Works Smoky Mountains - Zipline Tour est à seulement 2,5 km.

Close to trails and all tourist activities. Incredible views. Easy check in and check out. Lots of bears! Excellent communication from host. Would definitely go back!

Mini Spring Break

We had an amazing Mini Vacation with our Family! The property is tucked back on a mountaintop with great views and we were provided with everything we needed. We were even entertained by a mama bear and her 3 cubs while we were there :) We will be making a trip back in the near future! Highly Recommend!

We enjoyed this cabin as much or more than any other place we have stayed. The bears are a big bonus.

Very nice, clean cabin, not too far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of room and plenty to do right there at the cabin. Saw a few bears and had a great time!

Great Fall Break Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was just as nice as the pictures showed. It is very spacious and open. The beds were amazing. We loved the hot tub! To top it off we even saw a bear walking around the cabin one morning. We would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent!

This cabin did not disappoint! We throughly enjoyed our stay! The game room was a hit (along with the hot tub). View was amazing. Not far from Gatlingburg or grocery stores. John was alway quick to answer any questions. Thanks John! Oh did I mention the bear that decided to visit us???

Beautiful getaway

Loved our time spent at the cabin, sitting in the rocking chair enjoying the sunshine was perfect. Plant of space for the whole family and then some. Loved playing pool and fooseball. Kitchen island is perfect for game nights.

smoky mountain heaven

7 person hot tub was amazing !! We had beautiful views of the mountains and saw a couple bears. Everything in the pics was even better then advertised. Nicest VRBO we have ever stayed. The host contacted us and touched base to make sure we were happy. Will most definitely stay here again when we visit Gatlinburg. Thanks for your generosity John (:

No Hassle Rental

Everything was thought about. Fully stocked kitchen, detergents, hygiene supplies, you name it. Painless check in/out. I had one question, during a holiday week mind you, and had a response from the host within minutes. Highly recommended!

Great experience

My family and I (9 mos. To 60 yrs old...10 total guests) had a great time at this cabin. Plenty for everyone to do, great view, nice hot tub, pool table, etc...Saw bears on 2 occasions, both times out on the roadside of the cabin, one actually came up onto the porch. Lots of space for all of us. Would recommend this place to anyone with a larger group wanting to rent one cabin.

My family and I just returned from our stay and wanted to share some thoughts while they were fresh in my mind. Communication with the owner was great from reservation through checkout. We arrived at the cabin on the first day and a mama bear and her cubs were waiting for us. We waited in the car for them to move on a safe distance and got plenty of video and pics. In over 40 years of coming to Gatlinburg I had never seen a bear in the wild. Our kids will no doubt remember this for the rest of their lives. We unloaded and everything was as described or better. We were back and forth between several cabins before settling on this one and our 10 year old twins were bummed that we didn’t choose the cabin with the full size video game system. Imagine their surprise (and ours!) when we found a full size video game system loaded with hundreds of games for them to play. Additionally, this cabin has the only perfectly flat pool table I’ve ever had in a cabin I’ve rented. All of our kids got much better at pool over a few days and they loved the foosball table as well. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need, and the hot tub was terrific. This cabin wasn’t advertised as having great mountain views and it doesn’t. However, you feel like you’re secluded even though there are other cabins nearby. Even without the views we enjoyed spending time on the decks. I’d definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have had a better experience

The property is beautiful; the loacation is even better. The cabin is spacious and very comfortable the hot tub is fabulous and the owner is very helpful you won't be disappointed at all. They had everything even a baby high chair and seasoning for cooking. This is our new getaway. We normally go to elenjay but this was much better. Downtown was perfect.

What an awesome place to stay, we are surely coming back !

The property listing was accurate and in fact underwhelming. The location is amazing, quiet and the BEARS do come here. In our 4 days stay, bear family visited us 3 times. The property is neat and clean, fully equipped with tons of utensils, dishes and other utilities. The communication with John was swift and smooth. I am going to recommend this property to everyone who is seeking to stay in this area. Could not have expected any more.

Fantastic Cabin

The cabin was amazing!!! It was very clean with comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities to cook. The kids enjoyed all the games and the pool table. The hot tub was so relaxing. We saw bears on three different occasions. The first time, a medium-sized bear walked over to the grill and tried to remove the covering. The second time, a much bigger bear walked over to our car, opened the door (we forgot the number one rule - lock your car doors) and jumped inside. We quickly set off the alarm and he jumped out of the car and headed towards the porch. Of course we all ran inside like the sky was falling. The third time, we got brave and grilled. The whole time a bear walked back and fourth in the bushes in hopes of a tasty steak. We spent the next 15 screaming and yelling to scare off the bear and not lose our steaks to the persistent animal. We will definitely rent here again. Wonderful, fun and exciting memories were made.

Great cabin

This cabin was gorgeous. It was perfect for our family of 5 getaway. Upon pulling onto the road the cabin is on we were greeted by a momma bear and her 2 cubs! Check in was seamless. The cabin has everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked. I would only recommend adding some glass cookware that is microwavable such as corningware as the stove gets full when making a big meal. We arrived about 2 weeks after Hurricane Helene and the area was under a boil water advisory. John was great at giving us updates and provided gallons of drinking water. There were also empty 5-gallon buckets which we filled with water just in case the water was shut off for more repair work while we were there. Thankfully, the advisory was lifted just a couple days after arrival. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and loved the overall layout. The cabin is a little loud due to its openness and all wood floors (which were gorgeous!) We enjoyed the cornhole on the deck on the nice days. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Check out was easy and there wasn't a mile long list of check out instructions as there are with other properties we have used. The kids enjoyed playing pool, darts, and the hot tub. I would recommend bringing your own extra plastic dart tips as we could not find any in the Gatlinburg area. The showers on the main and third level are amazing. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

A Magical (&White!) Christmas

We had a very nice stay over the Christmas Holiday. As others have said, the property is exactly as described! Our hopefully helpful observations are
 *The kitchen is extremely well stocked! Beyond the typical
there are plastic dishes for kids, leftover containers, plenty of baking dishes, sheet pans, all kinds of pans, utensils - in addition there were quite a lot of spices, some instant oatmeal, cooking spray, etc. *Plenty of towels to use for showering and hot tub *Look in the closets for some of the extra amenities:) *Beds are very comfortable, sheets and pillows are great as well! **Keeping in mind we stayed during an extremely cold spell (below 10 degrees some days) - but the main basement room was quite cold. Even when the rest of the house was at a nice temperature (68) the main basement room was still pretty cold. Our teens didn’t mind the cold to play pool. However, no one chose to “hang out” if not playing pool due to the chill. The basement bedroom did warm up just fine. Overall we had a fantastic stay. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas and made for a wonderful week. We even got to see some mountain Christmas snow!

Honestly we have been coming to Gatlinburg area for 7 years. This was the best cabin we had stayed in. Fully equipped with plenty of items a family would need to stay here. Crockpots, griddles, blenders, grill, George Foreman grill, seasonings big pots etc. I have a large family and would be able to cook for everyone. Plenty to play with too-pool table arcade, blocks, darts etc. Hot tub was BIG!! Even an air mattress if needed. John was easily accessible if needed. Location was perfect with a relaxing forest/Mountain View. We saw bear families almost every day!! We will be back!!!

My wife Melanie and I are from Dayton, Ohio. After visiting the Smoky Mountains, we fell in love with the area and the endless activities. Our favorite thing to do there is hiking to one of the many waterfalls. The frequent sightings of bears playing with their cubs keeps us coming back.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The neighborhood is perfect for taking walks on the roads and observing the wildlife. The maintenance team does a great job of immediately plowing the roads to keep them clear in the winter.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

A lot of cabins have narrow decks. Our cabin has a wide wrap-around deck on the main floor. This allows for more room to play games, like corn hole.
