Read all reviews of this nice apartment (managed directly by the owners - NO RENTAL SOCIETIES- authorized by the Municipality of Florence) is located near the famous square S.Croce plenty of nice shops, cafes & restaurants. We have an agreement with Trattoria I Fratellini, near by the apartment, for a 10% off. The apartment (65sq m) is on the 2nd floor without elevator of an old Florentine building. A small balcony with a view on the roof of Florence is equipped with a table & chairs and offer a cosy corner for nice dinners by candlelight. We have furnished the apartment with personal taste & lot of care in the particulars equipping it with all the needs for a comfortable living (internet flat,heating,air conditioning, iron, toaster, minipimer, milk shaker, hair-drier).The apartment is composed by a living room with a sofa bed (TV LCD 37’, home-theatre, DVD) dining area & separated kitchen corner (4 flames, oven, fridge,freezer,microwave) a large bedroom with queensize bed , storage room with a washing machine, large bathroom with shower. The price is all inclusive and we will offer to you as present a set of bath amenities. Please read our reviews, it is the best way to appreciate our flat! You will meet the owners ( not a rental agency) that will give you the keys and show this beautiful apartment.

Great place

Location is great, a short walk to plazas (about 30 to Duomo), lots of restaurants and taxi stands. The host were great about answering questions in advance and meeting us at checkin to help explain anything.

Fantastic flat in Santa Croce neighborhood

The flat was comfortable, cozy and convenient. There were so many homey touches that were so helpful when we first got there. Basic cooking supplies, lovely basket of toiletries in the bathroom in case we left something at home. We loved the little rooftop terrace too. We stayed for over a week and it was really comfortable. Julia was helpful and responded really quickly to any and all questions we had.

Beautiful apartment near the river in Florence, close to public transport and so many restaurants. Walkable to many attractions including Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo. Clean and roomy and Elena communicates well and quickly - highly recommend!!

A great place in a beautiful city.

The owners are flexible. The unit is clean neat well equipped. It has all the necessary things to make a house and home. Nice shower and comfortable bed. Centrally located to all you want to see and do.

Nice stay

The flat had everything we needed for a short stay in Florence. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Not fancy, but reasonably comfortable. The curtains in the bedroom are very sheer!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We were only here for two nights, but this apartment would be perfect even for a longer stay. We were able to do laundry, had access to a full kitchen, functional air conditioning was a definite bonus, and a beautiful balcony view to top it all off. The apartment was within walking distance of lots of touristy stuff and if you prefer not to walk there was also a bus station just down the road. We will definitely be keeping this property in mind for future trips!

A gem!

This apartment was fantastic, beautifully decorated, compact and well appointed, a comfortable home from home. Excellent location in quiet street near to lots of restaurants,places to visit, shops and bars.The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We would definaetely book again.

Don't pass this one up!

The photos do NOT do this excellent apartment justice! We were wowed by the cleanliness, decor, amenities, and most-importantly, location. Very spacious for a small family. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone. I hope we'll be back someday!

Lovely apartment and so convenient for the main sights - and yet not surrounded by tourists.

We had a wonderful five nights in this apartment. We felt very much at home and even the stairs to its entrance for us in our late 60's were no problem. We loved the staircase to the balcony for evening drinks and to dry our laundry. The recommended restaurant round the corner was great and all Giovanni's information was so helpful even though this was not our first time in Florence.

A perfect base to explore Florence

My husband and I spent four nights in this great apartment. It was clean, modern, well appointed and conveniently located to all the major sites in Florence. The bedroom is nice and spacious and above all, very quiet at night - perfect for a good night's sleep after a day on the go. Elena & Giovanni were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. If we are lucky enough to return to Florence we will definitely want to stay in this apartment!

Awesome flat

Location was tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to everything but not so close you have to deal with the noise of the city. flat was everything on listing and more. Clean, nicely decorated with everything we needed to enjoy Florence. I highly recommend

Apartment is in a great location, close to everything. The nice thing is that it is on quiet street, so no noise at night. Only improvement would be a shade or thicker curtains in the bedroom. Sun comes through early in the morning. Loved the little rooftop table and chairs

Wonderful Apartment!

My husband and I just got back from Italy. We stayed at Giovanni's apartment for 5 nights and he was very helpful to us. The apartment was so nice and very close to everything. We loved that we had access to two bikes, which we rode all around the city and we visited the restaurant he suggested which was so authentic and delicious. The whole experience was delightful, relaxing and romantic, I recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to have a great experience in florence.

Great place!

This property served us very well in Florence. It's a great location, close to everything and had all the necessary amenities required for a great stay. We were greeted by the owner's brother in law. His English wasn't great and he seemed a little rushed. It would be nice to have a little more info in the welcome package regarding use of the appliances, particularly the washer/dryer. Lena, the owner, was very quick to respond to every email question, which was very helpful.

An amazing apartment in a beautiful area of Florence!

I couldn't have been happier with my choice of accommodations! The apartment is even more spacious than it appears in the photos and the owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortably situated. Since I was a single woman staying on my own, I loved the security and safety of the neighborhood. The proximity to Santa Croce was a mere 5 minutes and there are many good restaurants and shops close by. It was quite warm during my stay, so I was very glad to make use the air-conditioning. There is a delightful little private rooftop piazza just for the apartment, and I made good use of it in the evenings. I also appreciated the good water pressure in the shower, kitchen amenities (including a dishwasher) and the crisp, ironed cotton sheets on the very comfortable bed were a treat! I would definitely return in the future!!

Great apartment, fantastic owners!

Giovanni and Elena were two of the most helpful owners I have ever rented with! Their apartment was fantastic, clean, well furnished, and well stocked; in a quiet neighborhood, as well. My two late teen daughters and I stayed here for a week in August and it felt like home! Both Giovanni and Elena were superbly helpful in any way needed while we were in Florence. Giovanni's response time to questions was amazingly quick! Cooking in the flat was fabulous and the Conad market was just a short walk away. We were excited at how reasonable grocery prices were here and cooked quite a bit; we couldn't have asked for a better kitchen. It made us wish we had these great ingredients and ambiance at home. :) I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Florence. The location is quiet and only a short walk to many of the attractions that bring you to this fine city. I would love to stay here again when we return to Florence (hopefully soon!)!!

Top spot & top appartment

We - my girlfriend and I - stayed in this little cosy appartment for five nights early october 2009. We had a perfect time. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the dad of Giovanni (both are very friendly!). The appartment was very clean, situated on the second (top) floor and had all the luxuries you needed and was perfectly located. Nice big bathroom (no bath), big sleeping rooom with walk-in-closet and living room with kitchen. Next to the vide there was also a (very) little roofterrace with nice views. Just enoough space for a couple chairs and a little table so we could have dinner and drinks, watching the sun go down! From this place you can walk easily to the city centre as it is located in the Sante Croce area, 5 minutes walk (east) from the Sante Croce Square. Good restaurants and plenty of shops nearby! Also a daily (morning) market for fresh veggies and more.... If we go back, we will defintely book this place again! Harm & Victoria

Outstanding Apartment

I planned for over a year for our trip to Italy. Locating this apartment was perfect. The location is wonderful, close to many sites, farmer's markets, churches, etc. The apt. alone had every amenity one could think of. Elena and Giovanni and beautiful baby met us and provided us with valuable info as well as welcome wine and Florence map and a recommendation for our first night dinner. I still think if we ever would move to Italy...I want to buy this apartment. I loved the modern look and much attention was spent on details. Even English speaking DVDs were available. Our hosts were kind enough to meet us on our departure date and helped arrange for a taxi to the train station. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. There was a wonderful bakery nearby, a great restaurant across the street, almost, at a church/school?, easy walking all over. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends who plan to travel to Italy.

Bel appartement très bien situé

L'appartement est situé dans une rue très calme à quelques minutes à pieds du centre historique. Bien équipé et joliment décoré. Le seul petit bémol concerne le matelas du canapé lit qui est vraiment trop ferme. Florence est une ville magnifique, nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Idéale

Bel appartement, idéal pour 2 personnes et logeable pour 3 voir 4. Bon accueil également Idéalement situé dans le quartier de Santa Croce à quelques pas de tous les monuments à voir et à visiter à pied. Si vous avez une voiture le parking est à 5 mn à pied. Je recommande sans hésiter.

bel appartement très calme et confortable

Appartement très agréable en hiver,spacieux on s'y sent bien. Situé dans un environnement très calme et typiquement florentin, proche des lieux de visites. Grand lit confortable, beau parquet. A une demi-heure de la gare ou des bus pour Sienne situés au même endroit.

C'est parfait !

L'appartement, spacieux, lumineux et confortable, est idéalement situé pour visiter Florence : tout près du centre mais dans un quartier calme. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants. L'appartement est très propre et bien équipé. On s'y sent vraiment très bien! Nous y reviendrons, c'est sûr !
