Nice Apartment

Nice apartment but be aware of three flights of steep stairs especially with luggage. Host was wonderful, apartment was clean, overall very happy with our 5 night stay. Many restaurants and little store on the block. Convenient to transpotation and everything we did.

Great location

Fabulous location really close to San Lorenzo Market and the train station. We really enjoyed our stay here. Well equipped kitchen and the only thing missing was a dishwasher. Just be aware that this apartment is on the top floor so lots of stairs to climb with your suitcases and everytime you ho in and out.

We loved the place. Well equipped and clean. Perfectly located, 3 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to Center. Host was very nice and answered all our questions. Please book her place you wont regret it.

Loved it here!

Our host was very responsive and gave me every detail I needed before arrival. The apartment was exactly like the pictures which was lovely to see in person. The neighborhood is within walking distance of many places including the train station. Literally walked everywhere the only transportation I took was a taxi to the airport. It is on the 4th floor so quite a bit of steps to get to the room but nothing crazy that wouldn’t make me book here again! I loved every bit of the apartment It was beautiful and the air conditioning was fantastic which was a huge relief in the 100* F. weather. Also, if you take a peek at the books you will be wonderfully surprised!

I recommend

We loved our stay in Florence. This appartment is very well situated, near the train station and not too far from the center. The appartment was clean and well equipped. The only downside is that the room isn't closed with real walls. It's panels and a big wardrobe that block the view, but the sound can go through. It wasn't so fun as we were travelling with a baby, so we couldn't make any noise once she was in bed. But other than that we loved it. Also, the appartment is on the 3rd floor, so be ready to climb stairs 😉

Basic Apartment, Great Location, Lacking Comfort

The location and communication with host were excellent. The host arranged self check-in for us and provided great instructions. We arrived early and the apartment was ready. We enjoyed the art in the apartment. The host even allowed us to check out about 30 minutes later. I do feel, however, that the rating is far too high for this apartment. This is my first time booking a VRBO with such great reviews that has been so disappointing. Our two biggest needs are good air conditioning and comfortable beds to sleep in. The loft where my husband and I were supposed to sleep was uninhabitable because it was so hot (mid June). We had the air conditioning going full blast, but it is mounted below the loft, so the loft does not feel any cool air coming from the air conditioning. My husband had to “sleep” on the couch to avoid sweating all night. An additional air unit in the loft is needed. The mattress desperately needs to replaced. It felt like laying on a board. There don’t seem to be enough outlets in the apartment, and outlets seem to all be three prong, but the hair dryer, iron, etc are two prong. The outlet didn’t seem to work in the bathroom. In order to run the washer, I had to unplug the air conditioning while it was going. The Moka pot for coffee was very unclean. There were large spots of mold on the shower curtain in the bathroom. A new mattress and air unit for the loft, exhaust fan for the bathroom, new shower curtain, and maybe a few wine glasses would help.

A notre arrivée le ménage n était pas fait il a fallu attendre la société de nettoyage et 1h30 de ménage donc nous avons perdu plus de 2h il n était pas noté au dernier étage sans ascenseur avec des escaliers rudes il était noté un parking !! C'est faux nous avons dû payer 100€ dans un parking a 10 minutes de marche déçu je ne recommande

"Bel appartement donnant sur la rue Faenza (rue un peu bruyante), l''isolation de cet appartement est un peu faible (cela semble être le cas dans beaucoup d''appartements italiens). Accessibilité un peu difficile (escaliers raides) pour les personnes qui ont du mal à se déplacer. Stationnement difficile. La solution le parking PARTERRE à 20 minutes de marche 65 euros la semaine."

We stayed four nights here while attending a conference. The location is fantastic: a 2-minute walk to Fortezza da Basso and very close to many lovely restaurants/landmarks. The apartment was easy to access, clean, and well-organized. Lea was very responsive throughout the entire process. Contrary to prior reviews, the apartment has an excellent air conditioning/heating system. We would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful escape in Florence

I can’t say enough good things about my stay here in Florence! The locations was ideal, since I only had to lug my suitcases a couple of blocks from the train station, and the apartment is so close to shops, cafes, and so much more! The apartment is beautifully appointed and became a wonderful escape from all the crowds. I highly, highly recommend!

Feels Like Home

In our short stay it was easy to imagine living in Florence from staying in this very comfortable and perfectly located apartment. Prof. Sgherri welcomed us and provided us with maps of Firenze and useful information. We were conveniently close to the train station and the historical sights, while being far away enough from traffic, noise and crowds.

Great. Apartment near the train station

We loved our stay at this apartment. We arrived late in the evening yet the owner met us. Lovely lady. The apartment is nicely updated 2 bedroom. Spacious, clean and very nice overall. Quick 5 min walk to local restaurants and 15-20 min. walk to some the major sites.Yes it's on the 4th floor with no elevation but its Florance... this part of the charm.

Great place in midst of everything you want to see

Prof. Sgherri was very kind. She agreed to leave the keys to the apartment in case we were to arrive early. My wife and I enjoyed staying at her apartment. It was well stocked and we cooked our breakfast everyday. Her place was nice and clean. The air-conditioning was great. Her place is in an ideal location where everything you want to see in Florence is close by. It was great value, which was important to us. The only thing which was a little bit inconvenient to us was her bathroom shower control was tricky and we couldn't control the hot/cold adjustment. Her bathroom light was also flickering....which was a bit bothersome to us. Check-in was a bit confusing to us, as her partner Laura had arranged a third person to come and give us the keys....but we were not sure who this person was. Overall, I would still give her five stars.

This apartment is looked after by my daughter Ginestra, a young engineer, architect and is used mainly as a pied a land of family. New to the rental on Homelidays .. I was awarded various honors: PHF Rotari International and Comm. Of the Italian Republic I hope it's for my guests for its accuracy.

We rent only during periods when it is not used to resume the maintenance costs. Generally we live in Maremma, where we also have a farm is an apartment on the sea.

Ideal for exhibitors and visitors FAIRS and CONFERENCES And TURISM. Very close to the Congress Palace and the Fortezza da Basso. The central location for exploring on foot all attractions of Florence and easily reachable by all means. The proximity to proncipale STATION S. MARIA NOVELLA and the place of the great exhibitions, making it convenient for those who want to travel and visit other NEARBY CITIES: all buses and trains to Siena, Pisa, Rome, San Gimignano
Etc. It is just a few dozen meters.This apartment has fascinated me for its brightness and pleasure of living. Even four people can maintain their privacy
