We did want to clarify a few of the concerns mentioned for future guests. Our lawn is maintained by a professional lawn service, and unfortunately, their scheduled service occurred shortly after your departure. Being a mountain property, the lawn can grow particularly quickly during certain times of the year, but it is regularly maintained. Regarding the laundry in the dryer, these were backup linens for the cabin—not laundry left behind by a previous guest. Every stay is prepared with clean linens, and we keep additional freshly laundered bedding and towels available for guests as needed. We appreciate you bringing the dusting and cookware concerns to our attention. We have already addressed these items with our cleaning team and reinforced our expectations that less frequently used areas and cookware are inspected as part of the turnover process. We take the cleanliness and maintenance of our cabin seriously and appreciate feedback that helps us continue improving. We’re also happy to hear that communication with us was easy and friendly throughout your stay. And yes—the bears are one of the memorable parts of visiting the Smokies!
