Great location for events held at the Port Jefferson Country Club. Many amenities in the area. Easy to get to from the Port Jeff ferry. Owners were very responsive and helpful with information. Would recommend for family gatherings. Plenty of room for a family of 8. Lovely pool area which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, beautiful cottage, everything was great . Pool a bit chilly for me but others enjoyed it . Close to eateries, shopping, etc Would definitely stay there again!

Claudia and John's cottage was a fantastic experience for me and my family. The house was beautifully furnished and decorated and the property expertly groomed. We were delayed in our arrival getting to the cottage after midnight, only hours before a morning wedding. Thankfully not only were the instructions and means of entry just as communicated, we found the condition of the house as if they were expecting their own family. Bedrooms were all prepared with beds made and light switches all exactly where we were told they'd be. Thankfully too, there was coffee and coffee maker there saving us from a trip to the market before the morning wedding ceremony. With a few questions along the way, Claudia was super responsive to my emails and provided continuous communications throughout our stay. Thank you Claudia and John for a fantastic experience! We love your cottage estate and hope to return again soon! Kevin and Mary Anne

We attended a family wedding with our three adult sons and their wives. This property is truly a gem! It is spotlessly clean, and close to everything, yet so wonderfully private. We had a little trouble with the lockbox upon checking in, but John quickly sent help. Everything you could possibly need is right there… thoughtful touches everywhere. The pool is huge.. our grandchildren enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for your hospitality!

We were looking to facilitate a family reunion summer birthday celebration with consideration of travel limitation for eldest family members. We felt we could not have found a better property in accommodation of our family need across four generations.We lucked out with fabulous weather when using the pool which accommodated all swimming levels from novice (two young grandkids) to expert (a family triathlete). To top it off, we were able to bring along our King Charles Cavalier spaniel who received lots of attention from family all in one place for a change. Cottage and grounds were immaculately prepared for our arrival by the owners, Claudia and John, with lots of household supplies on hand inclusive of a full propane barbeque tank with utensils.More hot water than we could use was always available for showers and dishes. Owners need to actually dial back the temp to avoid scalding the little ones at the kitchen sink. Otherwise all had a grand time there this past long weekend at this ideal property for a family get-together..

Great spot, I am used to a heated … so wished the pool was heated because it was warm weather not hot Dis not bother some who went in and loved the swim I loved the location and how clean everything was and the host were terrific and very responsive

My family stayed three nights at this lovely home. Our stay was nightly only. The home is very clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the lazy boy couch to watch TV. The beds are very comfortable. This home would be the perfect large family gathering place. The pool and yard are beautiful.

Family Thanksgiving

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. The Christmas decorations were a great surprise too. Plenty of room for all 8 of us with everything we need nearby.

What a wonderful stay!

Wow, what a cozy house! My family and I had a wonderful time at this location. The house was so clean and cozy, it had everything we needed, every necessity was thoughtfully met. You can tell that they had our best interests and comfort in mind. If we could stay longer, we absolutely would have. Thank you! We had such an amazing time!

This is a charming cottage and suited our needs perfectly. The location was perfect for closeness to the Port Jeff Ferry and lots of shopping close by.The home was immaculate and the hot water was very hot (the two things we care about the most).Claudia the hostess was gracious - I manage to mess up on logging into the app (booked under one email and used another on the app). She was very understanding and helpful as I panic thinking that I couldn’t contact the host. I think this would be an even better place in the summer for the pool access. I can see why they are “super hosts”

Can’t wait to come back

We had an amazing stay! This property is beautiful and just as described. It’s in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Close to any stores or restaurants you might need. The house is perfect for a good size group, lots of room to spread out. John and Claudia were great hosts and very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open!

The hosts were bery communicative throughout the process. The week of our stay, we received a planning note from the owner, and then the day before more information on the property. The day of our check in we received a final check in note with information on how to enter and turn on the lights, laundry, etc.There are four bedrooms, all spacious. Two full bathrooms all new and clean. The air conditioning units worked well. The inside of the home is cozy and has a nice living space, then a tv room to fit 3-4 people, a dining area and full kitchen with espresso machine and other. Full kitchen supplies if you are to cook and a bbq outside.The pool is very big, its an L shape and our kids loved it. The entire backyard and front area was well done and maintained. There are nice sitting areas and a nice long driveway with a basketball hoop.Most of all the owners were extremely nice and friendly. There are no gimmicks here, they are nicr people with a warm home. Id highly recommend to any families that need 4 bedrooms and a nice living space as they are enjoying the Port Jefferson and Mt sinai area.

A very positive experience! The hosts are responsive and answered my questions. When I realized I made a booking error, they quickly resolved it. Communication was clear throughout the booking, check-in and checkout process.The house and property are beautiful, offering plenty of space. The yard is huge and there is a beautiful pool and outdoor space.Since I’m from the area, I knew my way around but there are plenty of food options nearby, including a grocery store. Port Jeff is a 5-minute drive and the house is very close to the LIRR (but you cannot hear the trains). I highly recommend this rental and will definitely stay here again if I’m traveling with a large group. Many thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay!
