As out of town, parents of the bride, we chose this property to spend the time leading up to our daughterâs wedding through to wedding morning preparation. It was perfect for our needs, offering a calming view of the bay and convenient access to wedding celebration activities. Margot was very communicative and responsive across all fronts. The property itself is well maintained, clean and super inviting. Would highly recommend.
This home was beautiful in an amazing location right on the water. Well appointed, quiet, and great communication with the owner. Would definately stay again!
A wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together in this elegant home. Great location to day trip to Fire Island and the other places we knew as kids. Was impressed with âdowntownâ Patchogue. The owner put so much care into providing a clean, comfortable place with many details that make it feel your own home!
Quadruple your expectations, and this lovely seafront property will exceed them. Wonderfully charming, clean, well-appointed three-bedroom home. And Margot is a great host - prompt, thorough, and thoughtful.
Great mid August get away. Perfect destination for our family of 3 to work and relax. Quiet neighborhood, house was in good condition and hosts were super responsive. Being right on the water was the best part, private with incredible views. Plenty of room indoors for us to spread out and have our own space to work, read or watch tv on those rainy days.
Had part of our extended family gather as my elderly mother is in assisted living and could not travel for Christmas eve dinner. A lovely house in a lovely waterfront setting.
The main highlight of this property was its stunning, quiet bayfront location. From the moment we stepped onto the deck, we were greeted by the gentle lapping of the water and the salty sea breeze. The unobstructed views of the bay looking out to Fire Island were breathtaking. The living areas of the property were designed to maximize our enjoyment of this incredible setting, featuring large windows that allowed us to enjoy the bay views from the comfort of the indoors. A welcome basket with a local bottle of wine was a delightful touch. The host was extremely accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. She also thoughtfully stocked a regular coffee maker, a Keurig machine, and a generous supply of coffee and coffee pods.
We look forward to returning to this bayfront paradise for another unforgettable getaway!
This property is just simply wonderful! Beautiful home w/a gorgeous view. Woke up every morning to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee, eat breakfast, enjoying the sea air & relaxing sounds of the waves. Day 1, we dined in town at Catch which was just the start of our seafood diets. They make a mean dirty martini w/the proper blue cheese stuffed olives. Great variety of oysters, too. Then back to this stunning home for cocktails/wine, cheese and crackers and some candy and snacks we would never consider at home-but, hey, itâs vacay. We watched the sunset, chatting away late into the night and laughing our butts off! Day 2 we elected to ride share (readily available) into Southampton to visit a vineyard, shopping and imbibe in a local establishment, Fellinghamâs, where Mike gave us some great recommendations for a bite to eat and so we ended up at Sundays on the Bay. Back home to watch the family of deer enjoy OUR company, played games and enjoyed in some more adult beverages. Finalized our stay back in Patchogue village for some more shopping and then margaritas at Dirty Taco and an evening w/ some music (we brought a Bluetooth speaker) and more girl talk.
Everything was superbly clean upon arrival and we made sure to leave it that way! The home is a quick walk down the road to a beach, quiet neighborhood and has everything you need. Just grab your friends and some provisions on the way and have fun! Margot is a 5 âïž hostess.
We had a wonderful long weekend at this stunning, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean home. The views of the water are gorgeous, whether you are outside on the deck or sitting inside staring at the floor to ceiling windows. Margot was wonderfully responsive and kind. What was fascinating about this homeâthere was no trace of anyone else who had lived there or stayed there. It was beautifully cared for and pristine and really felt like it was your own home. Definitely hoping to go back.
We came to the island for a baby shower. The check-in process was smooth. The house is well labeled with instructions and a check-in checklist for the house is provided. They were easy to reach by text to answer any questions. If I come to Long Island again I would love to stay here again!
This home was recently purchased, renovated and updated for maximum enjoyment. I am looking forward to sharing this serene and peaceful waterfront property with you!
