This property was ideal for our family. The beach is beyond belief! Sugar sand and crystal clear water. You can walk for miles on the beach. Having two houses provides togetherness, but just enough privacy. The views from the porch while reading a book or just looking out at the freighters are wonderful. Tony and Sue were fantastic! They communicated with us just enough to keep us informed, but didn't over communicate. We even got to meet the neighbors and they were very nice. Overall, we had a super vacation! We have rented from Tony and Sue twice now and had a great time both times.

Excellent property with an awesome beach! The homes were well maintained and clean. The kitchens were well stocked with everything we would need. All the beds were comfortable. Allowing for a good night’s sleep. Plenty of chairs and firewood for a bond fire. If the weather doesn’t cooperate you can sit in the beach house and still enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake.We were a group of 12 with ages ranging from 61 to 1 and it worked for everyone. The two homes worked well because we could use the Chaet for naps and quiet time. Yet the homes are close enough that no one felt isolated.The host were very responsive to any questions. They provided great driving directions and even reached out to make sure we arrived safely. It was an excellent location for our trip. We all agree we would definitely stay there again!!

Great place!

We had a great time. The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed all the games and outdoor activities. It’s a perfect spot to take a group since there is a good variety of things to do. We are planning on coming back.

Great location. This worked very well for our extended family group. Anything we needed to cook a meal was available in the kitchen. The host were very good about communicating with us.

Three generations together on the beach

This property was perfect for our extended family. Beach was steps away and the weather was perfect. Property had everything we needed.

Family Beach Vacation

This is our third year renting this beautiful place for a week on the beach. Between the chalet and the beach house, we have plenty of room to accommodate my whole family. Best of all the beach is amazing! Thanks for another great vacation.

Secluded lake-front with good location

Our family enjoyed our stay. Beautiful Lake Huron is steps away. The owners are very quick to communicate and are friendly. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The location was great to head to Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, and Onaway.

We had an amazing week at the beach house and chateau! Hosts were very accommodating and friendly and everything was very clean! The weather was perfect and so much stuff to do. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

This property was as described. The houses were clean and had all of the essentials. The location was quiet and peaceful. The views in the morning are stunning. This was great location for a multigenerational family trip. The hosts were great and highly responsive. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Sue and Tom were great hosts responding to all our questions and needs. The houses were very well equipped. They were perfect for our extended family of 12. The chalet is a short walk down the road and sleeps 6. The main house also sleeps 6. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (in the 2 houses) fit our needs perfectly. The beach access is so easy, so much fun watching the freighters and sailboats out in the distance. The 6 kids played for hours on the beach and enjoyed making s’mores in the firepits. The location had me a little worried at first, but we truly loved the peace and quiet. We were able to take day trips to the upper Peninsula and Mackinac Island. We really enjoyed the little town of Cheboykin and also Mackinaw City. The surrounding area allowed us take hikes, fishing trips and we even rented a boat on Lake Mullet, beautiful lake. The two houses felt very comfortable and made us feel at home. So I feel that these 2 homes for the price of one offers everything you need for a great family vacation. Staying here you can do as little or as much as you want, it offers the best of both worlds.

This is a secret hide a way. Nice beach front that is very private. Be sure to get the garage with all the toys and kayaks!

Beautiful beach with accommodating hosts

Awesome property for multiple families as we utilized the chalet & main house for 3 total families. The beach is huge & private; a little rocky (we found many Petoskeys!), but sandy once some feet out. The front room with windows facing Lake Huron is awesome for viewing & accommodated 6 of us at a time. Nice washer & dryer to use inside main house. Appreciated the AC, especially for sleeping. 2 fire pits with one right on the beach, great for viewing moon rises. Also really liked the picnic table on the beach & several beach chairs for our use.

Perfect vacation

These two houses provided everything you need or want for a vacation. The beach was fantastic, with kids as well as adults loving it. The view of the ships on the lake from the enclosed porch on the beach house was some of our group’s favorite place. It’s close enough to make day trips to the island, locks , shipwreck museum and much more on the upper peninsula if you can tear yourself away from the beach. The owners providing so much information on the surrounding sites was invaluable. We would go back in a heartbeat! Loved it! Thanks Tony and Sue. Your response to every communication was fast. Will spread the word in Pa. on your place.

Gorgeous locale, great hosts!

My family and I were looking to get away from it all after "the long winter" that has been the COVID pandemic and this was the perfect spot to do it. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather during our stay - giving us plenty of opportunities to enjoy lazy days on the beach, take the kayaks out, fish, and hop over to Mackinac Island (just 45 minutes away!) for a day. The water was a bit cold but we braved it nevertheless, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand. The beach house and chalet were clean and roomy enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. The hosts have been thoughtful about the accommodations and amenities, were very responsive, and checked in on us a few times to see if we needed anything. We appreciated having plenty of outdoor chairs provided for us and it was super fun to have the pool table at night! Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to re-book if we find ourselves headed that way in the future!
