Maison récemment rénovée située à l’embouchure de l’extrémité nord du lac Mullett et de la rivière Cheboygan .. Cet incroyable chalet de 4 chambres + mezzanine, 3 salles de bain complètes a plus de 350 pieds de plage de sable du lac Mullett et plus de 400 pieds de façade de la rivière Cheboygan. Espace disponible pour amarrer un bateau de 50 pieds dans la rivière. 2 kayaks et 2 SUP sont fournis.
Cette grande maison est idéale pour une grande famille monoparentale ou un couple de plus petites. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes. Le chalet est équipé avec lave-vaisselle, 2 réfrigérateurs, laveuse / sécheuse, four / cuisinière et micro-ondes. La maison a 2 chambres au premier étage; un maître avec salle de bain complète et une chambre king supplémentaire avec salle de bain complète individuelle. Le deuxième étage comprend une chambre avec un lit queen-size, une chambre avec lits superposés (8-12 personnes), un loft (pouvant accueillir 2 personnes supplémentaires avec un canapé-lit) et une salle de bain complète.
À l'extérieur, vous trouverez un coin repas, des chaises, un foyer et un gril pour manger en plein air.
Cette maison est située à côté du célèbre restaurant Hack-ma-tack où vous pouvez vous rendre soit par voie terrestre ou maritime. Le restaurant Pier 33 se trouve juste au bord de la rivière. Faites une promenade relaxante sur la rivière Indian et à travers la chaîne de lacs jusqu’au lac tordu. La rivière Cheboygan a accès au lac Huron qui peut vous emmener partout dans le monde! Seulement 30 minutes en voiture de Mackinaw City.

Great Location and fun family time!

This lake cottage was perfect for our annual family vacation. The kids had a great time in the sand and water. House was fully stocked and use of kayaks and canoes were a plus. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property!

This property is one of the greatest I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Sunrises and sunsets on the Cheboygan and Mullet Lake, views of the Milky Way and a short walk to “The Hack” are just a few of the highlights. You’ll have nothing but smiles from arrival to your last night.

Fun for the whole family!

We rented with Colleen’s cottage for my husbands 50th birthday and everyone raved about the great location and amenities for the kids. Dock was a nice plus for storing our boat vs. a mooring buoy.

We enjoyed this perfect place on Mullet Lake and Cheboygan river. The lake was so clean, shallow and sandy for playing in the water. Kids and adults enjoyed it. We enjoyed the kayaks and the SUPs too! The seating area at the river was great to fish from and watch the boats come and go. Lots of space for everyone in the house, very clean and two refrigerators were a plus!

Little piece of heaven

Lovely home with everything we needed! Beds were comfortable and we loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Rented a boat for morning river cruises and played on the beach in the afternoons. Was a little surprised by the crowd scene on the sandbar on Saturday and Sunday, but boaters were polite and friendly. The house is well appointed and we appreciated the games for the one rainy day we had. Thank you!

hit most off what we were looking for

no firewood for fires and where the kayaks are stored the bees are back and my wife got stung the nest was behind the paddles also we rented it 2 years ago and the nest was under the kayaks in the ground

Amazing family vacation

Beautiful location and great house for a large family vacation. Absolutely the spot to be on Mullet if you want a beach and shallow, calm water for little kids. The adults loved going on river cruises/fishing. Large yard for everyone to play. House is clean. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to cook for a large group. Ton of towels/linens. We had a lot of young kids and it was a very nice touch that owners had a ton of coloring supplies which kids used daily. Close to town and ton of activities near by. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back!

Hidden gem!

This is an amazing property! The setting couldn’t be better. River on one side and lake in the front with a large grassy yard, big sandy beach, shallow water and a sand bar. The little kids loved the sand and water. The bigger kids loved fishing and watching the sand bar activity of other boaters. The sand bar visitors were respectful of our space and typically left the area by 6pm. The house layout was great. Felt spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Close to town and a 30 minute drive to Mackinac Island ferries. Perfect home!

Great Family Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed a lot of time on the water. The nearby restaurants were very good and it was a short drive to Mackinaw City to jump over to the island for a day. I would definitely recommend.

Mullett Lake vacation with Kids and Grandkids

We had a wonderful visit. We have 3 little grandkids and the shallowness of the lake at this location is perfect. The downside is on the weekends many boats park out front to use the sandbar. We just did our own thing. We caught frogs and butterflies and saw lots of bunnies and deer. We went in to town for dinner at Mulligans and we would recommend them. We also went to the Dairy Queen. We have family that lives nearby on mullett lake so we visited their place and they came and visited at our place. The paddle boards were used and we played in the sandy lake beach quite a bit. We fished off the river side of the property. There is a bike trail which we rode down to Aloha State Park camp store. They sell fresh donuts there which was a big hit.The ride there and back is just over 5 miles. We utilized the kitchen and the grill. The kitchen is fully furnished. The kids loved the bunk room and the loft area to play. We hope to return again soon.

Family and friends fishing week - A+ stay!

Spent a week long fishing trip in this beautiful cabin with a group of friends and family including 2 kids. We traditionally do a walleye fishing trip to Minnesota annually, and decided to give Mullet lake a try this year, and had a great week. The cabin left nothing to be desired. More beds & bedrooms than we needed and lots of room all around. The ample space continues outside with a huge back and side yard. For our group we brough 2 larger fishing boats and really appreciated the saftey and easy access of the riverfrontage overnight dock space (Mullet can get very windy and most rentals we looked at only had mooring bouys as overnight options). We were able to get power out to the boats easily with a 100' extension cord for overnighr battery charging. 2 refrigerator/freezers were perfect and definitly made keepingnup with ice and stocking for a big group ideal. Lots of outside space for grilling and campfires. The kids loved the beach right out back and the kayaks that were available on the property. Kitchen was the most well equipped that I have seen and we do alot of vrbo rentals. Walleye fishing was spurratic, but caught fish every day. Catching rainbow and brown trout in Mullet lake as bonus fish while walleye fishing was an added treat! We also took the boats up the river, through the lock into Lake Huron and had a great day of Lake Trout fishing on one of the days that was not too windy. Will definitly look at coming back in the future!

Great Location and large space

We had three families stay here (sister and her fam, my parents, and my family) all stay here, and it was a great location with the shallow walk in beach for the little kids 1-2.5 years old. There were many amenities as well like tubes, paddle boards and great kayaks. When we did have a small issue, the owner responded right away to try and fix the problem. Some things I would note for the next time if we return back- I’d bring extra dish towels, and beach towels. All the bedrooms had portable fans which was nice, except one bedroom upstairs doesn’t have a vent so even though the house has AC, that one room does not get any air, which was problematic for the one year old who slept in that room and we had to keep the door closed. Thankfully we didn’t have any 85+ degree days. We love Mullet Lake and can’t wait to be back on the water soon.

Wonderful Week at Mullet Lake

Our extended family of 12 (6 adults & 6 kids) spent a great week at this wonderful lake/river house. The location is outstanding! Situated at the corner of the Cheboygan River & Mullet Lake offers so much to guests. The included paddle boards, kayaks, & canoe provided endless fun for the whole family! The large yard facing the lake gave the kids plenty of room for running around, bocce tournaments & relaxing! The views from the back of the house are lovely! A perfect spot for family fun!

Mullet Lake and Cheboygan River where both Fantastic , beautiful water ! This house was nice and in a central location . Air conditioning on the main floor but 2 bedrooms up stairs and was very hot and only 1 fan in each room . More fans or room air conditioners are needed. The communication was good with host and Wine was a very nice touch ! We had a great family week together ! Thank You

Relaxing week

Our week started with a relaxing day spent on and by the river & lake! No location could possibly be better than this corner lot - SO much fun! We jumped off the stairs into the lake, waved at all the boats, kayaked and paddle boarded every day and made tons of sand castles! Only had 1 dreary day but it was great to have it overcast since we don’t get that often in the desert. The house was wonderfully stocked with pretty much everything we could want with just a few exceptions that would have been icing on the cake, so to speak. *A blow dryer, *a few more stand fans for the bedrooms at night and *a handful of beach towels. I left 2 beach towels at the property since we had to go to the grocery store and buy them. Spent a day on Mackinaw Island, the 8.2 mile flat road bike ride around the island was spectacular! Tahquamenon Falls was a beautiful place, castle rock, soo locks, mystery spot, jack pine lumberjack show, wawatam lighthouse were a few of the many things we were able to do this week. Libby’s Diner has an amazing breakfast, The Dipper in Cheboygan or The Sweet Spot in Mackinaw City for ice cream! Only has 1 small issue at the house and it was handled immediately. The owner is wonderful to work with and kept us informed with any workmen being at the house while we were there. Would ABSOLUTELY rent from Colleen again, couldn’t have asked for a better week and accommodations while exploring northern Michigan!

Incredible property on Mullett Lake!

We had an awesome Labor Day vacation! The house is perfect. Great floor plan with tons of room. The home was stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals and entertain the kids. Out little guys loved the games in the ‘toy loft’ as they called it. We especially loved the humongous beach and shallow water. The river frontage and dockage is a huge bonus, not only for watching the boats go by, but also docking our boat. Owner was super helpful and communicative. Already planning our trip for next summer!

Open and spacious. Wonderful location

The house is open and spacious and has all the amenities you would expect. This was our second summer vacation at this house. We booked for fourteen people ages 14 and up but found the sleeping arrangements lacking. Three of the bedrooms will sleep two people nicely however the fourth has bunk beds to sleep eight. That does not work for a mixture of teenage boys and girls. There is a open loft area at the top of the stairs that could be nicely enclosed to create a fifth bedroom. The property, on the corner of Mullett Lake and the cheboygan River is excellent. The beach is clean and beautiful. You can wade out two hundred yards and be only waste deep. The sea wall along the river is spacious enough to dock two boats. We used the fire pit every night.
