Winding Trail Lodge a tout pour plaire! Un espace de vie spacieux avec une magnifique cheminée offrant beaucoup d’espace pour se rassembler et pour visiter, donnant sur l’un des lacs les plus limpides qui soit - idéal pour la pêche, le canoë-kayak ou simplement se prélasser sur le quai. Situé à Holly Lake Ranch, premier complexe de villégiature en résidence fermée de l'est du Texas, vous profiterez d'équipements tels que l'observation de la nature, des piscines, des courts de tennis, des courts de pickle ball, de la pêche, du canoë-kayak, du golf, sans oublier un centre d'activités. salle de jeux, un mini-théâtre et 2 restaurants sur place. Ce lodge entièrement meublé de 3 chambres sur un seul niveau avec une grande baie vitrée est idéal pour une escapade en famille, entre filles ou pour gars ou pour 3 couples voulant simplement s'éloigner de la grande ville pendant un moment.

100 miles à l'est de Dallas et à quelques minutes de Mineola, Gladewater et Jefferson avec ses nombreux magasins d'antiquités, lacs, vignobles et quelques-unes des meilleures balades à moto du pays, vous vous retrouverez peut-être en train de vous dire: devons-nous y retourner?

AVIS IMPORTANT: Jusqu'à récemment, nous percevions une taxe hôtelière de 13% (6% pour l'État et 7% pour le comté). En mai 2019, VRBO nous a informés que l'État du Texas les oblige maintenant à percevoir la taxe d'hôtel pour nous. Cependant, ils ne perçoivent que la taxe d'État de 6% qui est incluse dans votre devis total. Ils ne se sont pas organisés pour collecter les 7% pour le comté et ne nous ont pas donné la possibilité d'ajouter cette taxe avant votre réservation. Great Home

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was very well stocked with all you need for cooking. The wildlife was wonderful and we couldn’t have enjoyed it any more!! Great vacation spot in the piney woods of ETX.

Fifth stay at Winding Trail Lodge

This makes the fifth year we’ve chosen to stay at Winding Trail Lodge. Very quiet and relaxing. Every stay has been excellent and we fully intend on staying here again next year!

Beautiful property We loved the huge picture windows withe the view of the lake and sitting on the outside deck we saw lots of deer and even a Red Fox great place we met lots of residents on our walks of the grounds and everyone was so friendly

Ohh so Peaceful.

Living in a big city like Houston sometimes requires getting away to reset. This is the perfect spot to do so.There was only wemen in our group and we felt safe and comfortable. The pictures, description and reviews just don't do this property justice.

Great Place for a Relaxing Stay!

Owners were great to work with! The house was clean and beautiful. Great location in Holly Lake Ranch with easy access to all the amenities. Everything you need was supplied by the owners. The lake was quiet and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. This rental has everything you need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and Private

Even though the home is in a neighborhood we felt completely secluded due to all of the trees. Viewing the lake from the living room windows, deck, or dock was very peaceful. We were a little surprised by the overgrowth of foliage on the grounds since the pictures show it to be cleared, but the kids enjoyed playing on the deck and all of the community amenities offered. Relaxing getaway

This is our second time staying here. The property manager is accommodating and great at communicating. The location is perfect! The inclusion of a canoe was greatly appreciated. We had the most relaxing weekend to end our summer!

Solar Eclipse at Holly Lake Ranch

Over a year ago, we started looking for a place with natural beauty and within the band of totality during the April 8th Solar Eclipse. We also needed someplace affordable and although we zeroed in on Texas, it seemed that many places didn't meet our requirements. Holly Lake Ranch met all our needs and more. What a gorgeous and restful setting and a completely comfortable and clean home. The huge windows that look out into the trees and the path leading to the lake was my favorite thing and it's captivating. My daughter, son-in-law and son came for the eclipse and we enjoyed playing games, laughing, enjoying a great meal at "A taste of Italy" and then the eclipse and a BBQ on the deck. (The BBQ looked brand new!) A rainstorm moved in that night and the lightning was impressive through the picture windows. The kids left the next day but we stayed on, listening to the rain, reading in perfect comfort and stepping out for a meal in the evenings. So relaxing! We really hated to say goodbye to this beautiful home and it's wonderful surroundings.

The house was nice and relaxing. Just an fyi…bathroom right side sink is plumbed backwards (hit and cold) and has a slow drip. The jet tub also has a slow drip. Only one sharp knife. We did love the house overall.

Family weekend for parents 50th

The property is beautiful, well equipped and perfect for a small family celebration of my parents 50th. The deck is amazing and the access to the lake is great. We will definitely return when we can spend more time outside.

The house is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely return to this house again. We didn’t realize there were hiking trails until the last night. We suggest reading your information book at the beginning of your stay. Lol

Another great stay!

This was our 4th stay with our two adult children and their spouses. The house is very cozy with an open floor layout in the front and it accommodates 6 adults very comfortably. It’s nice to just relax with a cup of coffee and watch the lake from the large windows inside or the outside deck or dock. The grazing deer were plentiful this year. We also dined at the Red Rooster and Taste of Italy, which are only about 20 minutes from the house. We have never been disappointed, which is why we keep coming back!

Wonderful getaway in the woods

Enjoyed this cabin tucked into the woods, fishing a little from the dock and coffee in the mornings watching the sunrise. We love HLR and this home helped make our stay very peaceful and relaxing.

Great Get-Away

This was our third time to stay at this lake house, went there to relax and and enjoy nature.. mission accomplished. Bonus got to see some deer on the property and catch some fish off the house dock. Could not ask for a nicer place to stay with all the accommodations and the most wonderful Property Managers Joe and Carolyn.

Beautiful place to reset

The property was absolutely breath takingl! It was surrounded by trees with a clear view of a beautiful lake. We enjoyed time outdoors with a hike, fishing, and a trip around the lake in the canoe provided. The owner thought of absolutely everything to make the trip easy, even providing life jackets. Nothing beat welcoming the sunrise on that dock. We also enjoyed some of the amenities, such as the pool. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. It was the perfect reset before the start of the school year and we cannot wait to go back! This will definitely be a new family tradition.

We started off as college sweethearts and now have enjoyed 45 years of marriage. With 3 grown children, and 3 precious grandchildren, our home has always been the hub for folks to gather for food, fun and fellowship. We love offering a place for family and friends to gather, connect, and build great memories.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We first vacationed at Holly Lake Ranch in 2011 at a waterfront home on Lake Greenbriar. It was love at first sight! Private lakes with great fishing, beautiful wooded community with resort amenities, and the abundance of wildlife...we were hooked. So we bought a home on Lake Greenbriar and absolutely love our retirement at Holly Lake Ranch. We are blessed to manage this awesome home for the Henderson family.
