Excellent roomy, bright penthouse apt for 4 females. Roomy enough to be in your own space. Loved the street atmosphere, and despite busy Saturday night outside, not a sound reached up to us. A great neighborhood to walk and a wonderful park across the street. Would love to stay again when I come back to NY.
Spacious penthouse in relaxed neighborhood of Manhattan
We had a very good time in this spacious apartment with our family (3 children). Rachel helped us with all our questions before arrival. The neighborhood was very relaxed with a lot of good locations for dining. To get around in Manhattan we usually used a taxi, which was more convenient than the Metro a few blocks away. We were also able to find free parking for our rental car in the side streets around the apartment. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Thanks again to Rachel.
Rachel was an amazing host she met my wife and I at the property and showed us around and gave us all the details necessary to enjoy our wonderful stay. The communication was great and also the detailed email that she sent us of the restaurants, coffee shops, and bars in the area was very helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is prime. Thank you very much Rachel for a hosting us we will definitely be a back again.
Stayed in this beautiful apartment for a girls trip. Was everything promised and more! East Village is a great area, lots of little restaurants and bars. Metro was a bit of a walk so we ended up ĂŒbering to Times Square. Felt very safe as elevator opened up to unit. Rachel and her team were always accessible to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!
As an avid traveler and architecture buff, I adore staying in people's beautiful and unique homes in interesting cities. When I am out of town, I enjoy having guests enjoy my home.
Aside, I work at a tech startup in NYC and have done real estate development in South America and on the west coast. I love meeting new people, biking around, trying new foods, and having memorable and unique experiences.
This is my oasis in the midst of one of the most exciting neighborhoods in the city. Entering the quiet of the apartment and walking into the huge open space is extremely comforting - grab a beer or wine on the private deck, dip in the jacuzzi, or cozy up in the living room with the theatre-style projection. You won't want to leave... but the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and music spots of the neighborhood await right outside, which have begun to reopen responsibly.
As much privacy as you'll get in New York City -- on the roofdeck no one can see you, the elevator opens right into the apartment, and the only neighbors on any side of the apartment are 2 kind people on the floor below. Also as quiet as it gets in New York City, especially in the bedrooms which don't face the street.
