This is a completely renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath 1,148 sq ft. condo within a stones throw from the beach! When you enter the unit you will be taken aback by the Hawaiian vibes! Open the patio door and immediately feel the ocean breeze from the trade winds and smell the fresh saltwater air! The next morning you will awaken to the warm glow of sunrise. Come sit on the lanai with your first cup of coffee and enjoy the views. You are also located right on the walking/bike path called Ke Ala Hele Makalae ('the path that goes by the coast') which travels along the coastline for miles offering spectacular views of the pacific ocean and perhaps some local wildlife.....You'll now know what paradise feels like.

The condo is on the 1st floor in Building A unit 101 at the Pono Kai Resort, within steps of the ocean. You will be lulled to sleep with the gentle sound of the ocean surf. One bedroom features a king bed and the other has a set of twin beds that can be pushed together for another king sleeping space to ensure a restful night's sleep. Air conditioning units are in the living room and master bedroom. A portable unit is in the second bedroom for your comfort during the summer months.

The unit has a fully updated kitchen with granite countertops; a new cooktop self-cleaning oven; a full-size microwave oven; dishwasher and tons of cabinet space; and all of the pots/pans/dishes/utensils needed to enjoy a meal. The kitchen is fully equipped, you will not need to worry about running out and buying that essential item to cook with. And if you plan on creating that perfect Hawaiian dinner, or even just a BBQ, spices are available in the kitchen or pick some fresh at the herb garden.

There are new marble floors and a walk-in marble shower in the master bath & a new deep soaking tub in the guest bath. There are all-new window coverings and a comfortable tropical-designed furniture package that includes a queen sleeper sofa bed in the living room with a ComfortCool Gel mattress for that restful sleep after a busy day at the beach! The unit includes a full-size washer/dryer with detergent, which is an unusual feature on-site. There is free wireless WI-FI service and a smart TV in the living room, as well as a TV in each bedroom. There are amenities galore to lighten your luggage weight. Large beach towels/beach chairs/beach coolers/hair dryers/shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel/ iron/ are all provided. There is even a pack & play and a booster seat if needed for a baby/toddler.

You will find your condo in the beautiful Pono Kai Resort with 12 acres of meticulously manicured grounds with NO added resort or parking fees, but includes a pool, hot tub, (Please note that the pool & spa will be temporarily closed for extensive renovations between September and November 2025) koi ponds, a guest-accessible herb garden, croquet, mini-golf, pickle-ball, fitness room, propane-gas BBQs, and other amenities. It is in the historic town of Kapaa, centrally located on the East Side of Kauai. It is convenient to all of the Garden Isle attractions; is only 20 minutes from Lihue Airport and walking distance from many restaurants, grocery, and fun shops and stores, but don't forget to visit the local food trucks for some absolutely delicious local eats!

The resort itself provides free parking and the parking for the "A" building is right out front of your door. For your convenience, the front desk is open 24 hrs and there is an activities/concierge desk in the lobby so you can arrange your island adventures or just pick out a good book and enjoy it on a hammock near the beach.

We require a minimum age of 25 years or older to rent. Proof of age may be requested at the time of rental. Children accompanied by their parents are welcome. This perfect property offers a quaint and phenomenal experience for guests. Your stay will be nothing short of exceptional. Only one trip to Kauai, many years ago, convinced us we wanted to own a place at the beautiful Pono Kai Resort in the quaint and friendly town of Kapa'a. Having been renters of the condo's former owner, we were thrilled when it became available for purchase, knowing first-hand how well it was maintained and how amazing the location is. We are beyond thrilled that now wholly owning unit A101 gives us the opportunity to enjoy paradise and share our love of the Hawaiian culture, and the sacred land and waters of Kauai with family, and with you, our Welcomed guests. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Only 20 minutes via car from the Lihu'e Airport, Kapa'a, part of the Royal Coconut Coast, is on the east (windward) side of Kauai and includes the sacred Wailua River and the prominent "Sleeping Giant" mountain. The area's name derives from the acres of coconut trees along the coast and highway. It includes over ten miles of coastline with several beach parks and recreational areas including family-friendly Lydgate and Kealia. It is popular for all types of water activities, including kayaking, boating, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling, and of course, swimming. Additionally, there is a beautiful coast-hugging, multi-use paved path that is ideal for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride. The town features many retail shops, art galleries, restaurants, larger shopping centers, grocery stores, pharmacies, and general services like banks, medical services, a library, and a post office. A farmers' market is held in Kapa'a every week and a craft fair full of locally made arts and goods is held on the first Saturday of the month. Many other activities and attractions are available in the area including tubing, ziplining, horseback riding, golfing, and hiking. The trade winds typically blow from the east, sometimes bringing light showers and providing cool breezes part of the year. Winter typically brings wetter weather and slightly cooler temperatures. Average summer highs range from 80-90 degrees and lows from 75-70 degrees, while winter highs range from 75-80 degrees and lows from 70-65 degrees.

This unit also includes a built-in washer and dryer with laundry detergent for your use, a rare convenience to be sure! A full kitchen stocked with utensils, pots, pans, plates, glasses of all types, and spices. All resort amenities are readily available for your use including, but not limited to, a pool, hot tub spa, (Unfortunately undergoing extensive renovations between September and November 2025), fitness center, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, several bbq's, an herb garden to pick the right spices for that perfect Hawaiian bbq, a koi pond, a small putting green, croquet court, hammocks, bike rentals a short 5 minute walk away. A concierge is available for you to help book the many island adventures awaiting you, or use the provided beach accessories from the condo for those fun days enjoying the beach, or you can simply borrow a book from the cabinet below the big screen T.V. and relax on a hammock. In the evening, a walk along the beach, relax on your lanai or go and meet new friends at the fire places. The 12-acre of meticulously manicured grounds allow you to actually feel that Hawaiian vibe, a true sense of Ohana (Family), and Aloha.
