Situated just a mile from the picturesque town of Monterey, VA, in the heart of Highland County, our cabin offers a secluded escape with breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings, perfect for couples or small groups looking to reconnect with nature.
The Cabin: Designed for comfort and relaxation, the cabin features a cozy one-bedroom layout with a queen-sized bed, a 3/4 bathroom with a stand-up shower, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, blender, and a drip coffee maker with starter coffee and filters. Enjoy your meals at the high-top island table with seating for four, and unwind in the living area with a comfortable sofa bed and sitting chair.
Outdoor Spaces: Experience the ultimate mountain retreat from the comfort of the cabin's outdoor amenities. A covered lean-to in the back provides access to the grill, outdoor tv, and seating area, where you can relax under the stars. Though the cabin sits in a more rustic environment than our previous bed-and-breakfast property in Staunton, the idea remains the same: to provide a serene retreat where people can unwind and reconnect with nature.
