Beautiful view

This property has everything you need for a calm weekend away. The lake views and walking trails are incredible! Davidson parents- this is a must stay! So close to campus

View is 500 stars, but unit itself has room for improvement.

The location and views were definitely the highlight — truly beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and the decor is very cute! It’s also in a great spot for walking, especially if you have a dog, with close access to the lakefront and Hello, Sailor restaurant. That said, a few things fell short of expectations. Communication was unclear — I wasn’t sure whether to contact Vacasa or the owner, and my messages to the owner went unanswered. The unit could’ve been cleaner. The balcony had a bird’s nest and an active beehive, which made it tough to enjoy and could be a concern for anyone with bee allergies. The master closet had a musty smell, and the kitchen was missing some essentials — no wine glasses (surprising for a lakefront rental) and a limited supply of dishes and glassware, which makes longer stays or cooking at home a challenge. Also worth noting: it’s a third-floor walk-up, so something to consider if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Overall, if you're looking for great views, a pet-friendly spot, and don’t mind a few quirks, this place delivers on location.

I will not stay here again.

This apartment was pretty clean. I always check beds for bugs and there were none in beds but visible beetle shell on baseboard. I called to tell people and didn’t get a call till the next day. I contacted my exterminator to make sure it was ok to stay there. Although to make me feel better i vacuumed the whole apartment again. It was so hot and muggy in there. We left a night early because we couldn’t stand how hot and humid it was in there. We all sweated all night even with the fans provided. I got ahold of someone and they changed it on the smart thermostat but it did not help at all. I contacted them to let them know we were leaving early and there was mold in the main bedroom closet and never got any response just this text to give review so here it is. Also there was only one trash bag in the apartment. We were there for long weekend and didn’t think for paying that much money we should have to go buy trash bags. Also this was way overpriced for three days especially since we only stayed two.

Cute place, horrible communication, pool closed

My college friends and I do an annual get-together with the intention of relaxing, connecting, and spending time water-side. We always make sure the property has a pool or direct access to the lake. Although this location had a boat slip, we were told we were not allowed to get in the water (understandable) which is why we ensured there was a pool. We arrived on a Friday, and there was a maintenance man adjusting the lock on the door at 4:15 PM... Then we find out that the pool was closed for the weekend because of being out of code with an ill-functioning phone. The phone was actually operational, but the inspector had not come back out, hence the pool being locked. I called the condo office and they are in no way associated with the listing. Also the residents at the location stated that this neighborhood was not supposed to be on VRBO or Vacasa (I'm not sure if that is true or not). The property managers were notified the day before arrival of the pool closure, and not only were we not given a courtesy notice to be able to find another location, there was no adjustment in payment due or any type of remorse in the fact that the quality of our vacation weekend had been diminished. No one had told us this, no one had given us a heads up so that we could book another property, and no one seemed to care. This is a small apartment that we paid a premium for (due to amenities) and we were incredibly disappointed with the result. We will not be back based on experience.
