Family vacation

Already planning my return!

My friends and I had the most amazing girls' weekend here! The heated floors in the master bathroom added a touch of luxury, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect spot for relaxation—quiet, private, and surrounded by stunning waterfront scenery through the huge windows. Everything was unbelievably clean, and the Peloton was a fun bonus. The location couldn’t have been better, and we’re already planning our next trip back. The beds were so comfortable, and the whole place felt like a cozy retreat. Seriously, this place was spotless! Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

Great Property; Poor Management Response

The house was great, if a little quirky for our family get-together. The location right on the water was lovely and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The only issue we had with the house itself was that the bathroom and shower doors downstairs didn't fully close. We had 2 contacts with property management. One because we ran out of toilet paper in a day. Response was prompt, but said they did not supply toilet paper beyond the first rolls (seemed odd and required a grocery trip). The second was because there was no propane tank for the grill. The gas grill was actually in the property title, so we had planned to use it every day. Initial response was quick, and once the issue was clarified, they said someone local would be in contact soon. The next day (a Sunday), we got a text that someone was at the house, but we were out at church. They gave no warning that someone would be coming by. No one came again until Monday; thankfully we were at the house this time because there was still no warning. Eventually we did get a propane tank for the grill, but we were unable to use it for 2 meals we had planned on it for.

Disgusting Dirty House & Hot Tub!!! Beautiful Views & Beach though

Only thing good about staying here was being together with our family that flew up from out of state to have a relaxing vacation with us at this property. We were all in complete shock at how filthy the windows, floors, showers, towels and hot tub were upon our check in. Notified Vacasa of our issues and they did offer to send housekeeping and someone to address the disgusting sand filled frothy green watered hot tub, however we had already cleaned ourselves what was disgusting inside the home and there was no way they would get the hot tub in working condition for us to use during our stay so we declined. We had already dealt with landscapers interrupting our breakfast on the deck in the morning so we definitely did not want housekeepers inside as well. Place should have been thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to our arrival! Beds are okay comfort wise minus the hairs we found in blankets and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment etc., just clean it before you use it. We paid a lot of money to stay here including airfare for family to be with us and to have to clean up other people's filth, hair and who knows what that wad thing was I picked up was heartbreaking for us! We did reach out to Vacasa with all of our concerns and all they offered us was a TINY credit for our inconveniences. We will definitely not be staying at another Vacasa property in the future! Vacasa & the homeowner should do better and BE BETTER for your further renters! Only good thing we can say out of the stay was the view and beach were amazing and we were thankful to at least share that with our family from out of town!
