Welcome to The Ranch! Bring your family and friends to this GORGEOUS gated estate only minutes to the beach and wineries in one of the best locations in Pismo Beach!

Amazing location, full amenities, sleeps 17, gorgeous country views on a working cattle farm, and with spacious outdoor areas a and a game room there's something to entertain all ages! You can't go wrong!!

PROPERTY IS ONGOING A REMODEL SO IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE BUT PHOTOS ARE STILL IN PROGRESS
We will be available from 8am-8pm to communicate with over the platform.

Guests are expected to be respectful of surrounding neighbors on the cattle farm at all times and must comply with the local noise ordinance. Quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and respectable noise levels are required at all hours.

Thousand Hills Ranch is a working Cattle Ranch. Cattle can be present, sprinklers can be going for pastures, etc. Guests are not allowed to wander outside the property onto other areas of the property. Hiking on the property is not allowed but there are amazing trails just a short drive away.

Ample parking for many cars.

We provide starter supplies for guests: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. All other supplies will need to be providing by the guests.

No pets or parties allowed.

Internet/ TV: We have Wi-Fi set up as well as Smart TV's so you can login to all of your favorite streaming platforms. BYO Passwords
Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control. In addition as the ranch is in a rural setting strength can be limited.

We do our very best to keep them as far away from the house as possible with recurring pest control from a reputable company, but they are still present at times. Your safety is very important to us. There may be wildlife on site, including bugs, both inside and out. Please leave doors closed at all times.

This property does not have Air Conditioning which is common for properties in the Pismo Beach area.

Lawn maintenance typically occurs on Thursdays.

Must sign rental agreement upon booking and upload a copy of your legal unexpired driver's license or passport

Must submit a $500 off-platform security hold that will be collected upon signing rental agreement but it will not be placed until 2 days prior to arrival and released 3 days after departure, if no damages are reported. Deposit to be processed by host on guests credit card. Please note we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits.

huge house with palatial lawns. feels far from civilization but is only a few miles from Pismo or SLO. this is our second stay and we'll likely be back again someday :)

Our host Megan was very responsive, rate her support as a five! My family enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings that the entire family enjoyed. The property was very clean and ready for our stay. There were some minor external maintenance issues that distracted from this beautiful home.

Beautiful setting. Hills were green and lush (I know it won’t be as nice in summer/fall) but it was gorgeous between Christmas and the New Year. House needs a little maintenance but overall was a great place for our family (7 adults and 5 children).

The only issue we had was the strength of the WIFI through out the house with our phones. The TV in the living room kept buffering. We had the same issue when we rented the house in February.

Beautiful ranch and farmhouse with plenty of space for three families (6 adults, 7 kids ages 5 to 16). Very private and quiet with great views of the surrounding hills and cattle farm. We enjoyed seeing wild turkey, deer and even a little coyote. Super easy to get into Pismo but you feel worlds away in the country. The great big kitchen, fire pit and ping pong table were some of our favorite amenities. The host was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

Beautiful, secluded property with a nice view. Outdoor spaces are nice and the inside is well kept. Hosts were very responsive to questions. The strong farm smells are for real though!Some of the beds are different sizes or types than listed. Game room beds are a daybed and trundle, not two separate beds. Guest room is two full, not two queen. Wifi is pretty strong throughout the house, but cell service is low/spotty. There are also sprinklers that run across of the roads which can be annoying. Also lawn sprinklers can reduce ability to play outside. There are only some basic kitchen utensils missing (serving bowls, Tupperware, spatula, etc) so bring what you need. There is also no.ice dispenser or trays - so pick some up. Also, bring your own beach towels, umbrellas, etc.

We appreciate your thoughtful feedback! While the ranch is a working cattle farm we do require the necessary sprinklers throughout the entirety of the ranch but it is limited on the property itself. We've also restocked the entire kitchen and beach towels are provided also. Regarding the beds we have recently undergone a remodel elevating the spaces provided. The game room had two futons removed and added alternative bedding and increased beds. Regarding the two bed guest room we have confirmation that they are both queen, not full beds.

The house was amazing! It has a huge yard which worked perfectly for the toddlers. Plenty of room for everyone and we didn’t feel cramped. The kids loved the big kitchen so we all fit even with space to spare! We took walks around the property and got to see cows and even a momma and baby. It was very cool! The kitchen is ginormous and has a great set up to make dinner. Had a little issue with the living room tv volume, but I messaged the host and she helped me quickly! If we do another vacation we will definitely try to come here again!

This house is *amazing*! Large lawns for frolicking, big kitchen for hosting, large bedrooms for laying about. There's a wedding venue just down the road as well so if you know someone gettin' hitched...

The house was cozy and inviting and just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle to feel like you’re in another world. There were 17 of us and we fit very comfortably. The house is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and kitchen supplies. You’ll need to bring drinking water, plastic wrap or foil if you’re cooking there, and your own groceries. I would totally stay there again. I will say that there’s an operating farm just outside, and there’s a strong operating farm smell, but we weren’t bothered by that at all. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway for your family.

Unbelievable!

This home and its surroundings are even more beautiful in person and accommodated my family of 11 perfectly!! My grandchildren could be let loose outside without a worry for their safety, they ran and played and loved seeing the cows. Pismo Beach is about a 5 minute drive away so it is a perfect location for peace and quiet and closeness to the beach. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation!!

We could not ask for a better experience than we did at this beautiful ranch home.

We are from Arkansas, and our son found a California girl to marry. We have cattle of our own back home and Ali found the perfect place to exchange their vows. Thousand Hills Ranch is by far the most spectacular place on earth. This home provides everything we needed for the Groom and his men to get ready for the big day. We would love to come back soon.

Fantastic Family Reunion

My family consisting of eight adults and six teenagers, had the most fantastic family reunion for five nights at the Ranch. The large property had everything anybody could have possibly dreamed of! For five beautiful days, we played all kinds of card and board games during the evenings, while the days were spent playing outdoor games on our wonderfully comfortable large lawn, or ping pong and other activities in the game room. The well equipped kitchen provided all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils we needed for cooking our meals, both breakfast and dinner.As the weather was so beautiful, we spent a couple of afternoons at the beach, and later enjoyed walking out on the pier delighting in the sunset. A visit to the bowling alley for a couple of games followed by a pizza dinner were all part of the activities of this five day fantastic family reunion. The spaciousness of this beautifully constructed home allowed each family to have one bedroom to organize how they wanted for their family of four and I, the grandmother, chose the well appointed master bedroom for myself and my partner which offers a large double walk in shower. It was just a marvelous property affording everyone a fantastic “long to be remembered” family reunion. Thank you, Megan for your quick responses to my many questions. You were a super host and I greatly appreciate the easy and comfortable communication with you.

The property is lovely, it felt so relaxing out on the ranch. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were lots of games to keep you entertained. The host was a great communicator and answered any questions that came up. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. We would recommend this to any large group staying in the area.

This is a lovely, spacious house surrounded by ranch lands but 10-15 minutes from SLO or Pismo Beach. We would stay here again. The website pictures don’t do it justice.

The Ranch property was beyond anything we could’ve imagined. The pictures when booking were beautiful, but in person was far past what we imagined. I even heard a family member say, “I think this is what Heaven must look like,” as we sat on the patio watching the sunset! It was such a mind trip to be in Pismo at the beach and a few minutes later driving on the property and feeling like we drove so far out of town because all of a sudden we are on a ranch, in the country, surrounded by mountains, trees and a totally different beautiful landscape!! I can’t rave enough about how awesome the house was! It had everything we could’ve needed and more. So many memories were made with our families who all met here from California, Utah, Alaska and Texas. From watching sunsets, playing ping pong, foosball, corn hole, sitting around the fire pit making s’more’s, to the sounds of cheers as we watched The World Cup, and of course the laughter and conversations had as we enjoyed many meals together. It was an epic getaway!! Our host, Megan, was amazing! So accommodating and kind! She made the stay easy and effortless! I would recommend this property to anyone and the family is already asking and hoping that we can go back again in the future!! We LOVED The Ranch!!!

This place is fabulous!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom, and we could spend time together in the living room and eat together in the dining room. The one downfall was not having enough room in the refrigerator for our family of 17, including 2 with special diets, so we ended up going to the grocery store every day. The yard was beautiful and allowed plenty of space for playing and flying kites. The concrete and asphalt driveway was a great place for the kids to ride scooters and roller skate. The fire pit in the back was great for s’mores. We really loved vacationing at The Ranch!
