Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. There were some initial communication issues after booking to confirm the couch was a sleeper sofa (listing said sleeps 4, but didnât list anything other than one bed). The initial listing showed 2 kids in a pool, which disappeared a few days before check-in. Even though it didnât list pool, the listing itself was sparse and it appeared to show there was a pool, which there wasnât. There was a small coffee maker with no coffee cups. The 4 plastic cups actually had 2 cups with stickers that were caked on as if gone through the dishwasher, then stacked and dried on. We had difficulty finding the remote for the tv which was eventually found in the entertainment center/dresser? No batteries for the remote. We pulled batteries from one of our electric toothbrushes, but the tv would not turn on. We tried to locate a physical button on the tv with no luck. Not a big deal but wouldâve been nice when winding down before bed, especially with an 8 year old with us. We did message the owner who had someone bring coffee cups and offered to bring a remote before we located the one that didnât work.
That being said, the location was fine-about a 10-12 minute walk down the street to the beach. It had a picnic table and grill outside which was nice. A microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a few plastic plates and a few pieces of silverware. The video game on the wall was retro and my niece loved it. A/C and ceiling fan was great when it got really humid.
This was nice and cozy. It is one space with everything we needed. Located close to the beach and the tourist zone of this town. The Kitchennet has a toaster, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee machine. The sofa was a sofa bed and the outside area to sit down it is a nice touch. The only thing I did not like was to pay an additional insurance fee over the price of the stay. I could not find where this extra cost was aware.
