Love this place

This is our 4th time staying here and love love love it. Wonderful setting, quiet and beautiful and perfect for a Santa Ynez getaway. This time we cooked and spent more time at the house and property just sitting in the back yard eating, drinking and enjoying the view, it's amazing.

Beautiful Retreat

This was a perfect weekend getaway place. We loved the property at the end of a bucolic country road. We definitely would recommend for a couple who is looking for a weekend in Santa Barbara wine country.

Absolutely wonderful

This is our 3rd time staying at the vineyard and it was perfect on the 3 day weekend, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Close to all the wineries, coast, restaurants, if you love the country and stillness away from the chaos, you will enjoy!

Santa Ynez Casita

This idyllic cottage is situated in a secluded vineyard. It is well appointed, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, complete with a fire pit. We recommend it to any couple looking for a relaxing getaway in a unique environment.

So perfect for a romantic weekend getaway!

Interior is beautifully done and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The grounds are gorgeous and offers beautiful views from the back porch. It's a great location- close driving distance to a lot of vineyards, tasting rooms and Solvang, but still remote enough that you have a "hideaway" feel.

country cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this Santa Inez hideaway. The house appeared new and upgraded throughout. The setting was quiet and convenient to the wine trails. An excellent value and a peaceful setting.

Quiet. Equipped. Charming. Clean. Perfect location.

Loved our stay. Great access to all Santa Ynez Valley attractions (Solvang etc). Beautiful, quiet, private setting. Amenities galore (kitchen, laundry etc). And did I say quiet? We'll be back...

Quiet and private wine country getaway

The Meadowlark casita was just as we hoped! The location is very quiet, with a nice view of the foothills from inside and the patio area. We enjoyed morning bike rides from the property and spent the afternoons and evening enjoying the many wineries and restaurants located nearby. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends/family.

Magical Place

Magical Place!!! Enjoyed the tranquility, the wildlife and the scenery. Home very cozy, modern appliances. Loved the Keurig coffee maker in the mornings. Very clean and tidy! Can't wait to return.

Amazing, relaxing time!

Perfect place for relaxation. Very quiet, occasionally interrupted by the buzz of hummingbird wings, a croaking toad or the call of a circling red hawk. Most comfortable bed ever!

Gorgeous, well-equipped vineyard cottage

The cottage is in a private, beautiful location just a few minutes from downtown Santa Ynez. The cottage is well-decorated with a beautiful bathroom with a copper counter top and a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Mexican tile throughout gives the house a punch of California style.

vast privacy and sublime living

First class accommodations adjacent to the San Inez River. Beautifully set up and meticulously maintained one bedroom one bath getaway. Views of the vineyard, riverbed and hills beyond. A perfect retreat for a couple looking for relaxation. Convenient to the wineries and incredible restaurants. Well appointed throughout. Friendly owner, no fuss reservations and everything is as promised in the VRBO advertisement.

Wonderful Place

Fantastic Owner, Fantastic House, Fantastic Location! Really a great place to stay! Privite, quiet and peaceful. Everythink was just as described. Perfect for a weekend getaway and as a headquarters for Central Coast Wine tasting. We enjoyed the house and grounds so much we cut the daily wine tasting short so we could get back "home"! I highly recommend this beautiful rental to anyone! Dennis

Worth the splurge!

My fiance, now husband, stayed here while we wed in Santa Ynez on the 17th. We wanted to be sure we stayed somewhere really special, and this was it! It was secluded, located on a gorgeous property, modern but cozy, and very very clean! The amenities are very comfortable and the back patio table allowed for a gorgeous view. We didn't use the fire pit, but I'm sure when we come again we will. This place was absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to return!

SBC Wine Trip

The Casita is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I traveled to the Santa Barbara County wine region this April-May. The location was perfect. After visiting wineries and tasting rooms, we would sit on our patio and enjoy the view while sipping wine and watching the birds. It was very peaceful. The hosts, Ramon and Sandra were wonderful. Plus they make excellent wine. We highly recommend this property as one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is clean, modern, and beautifully decorated.

Idyllic Wine Country Retreat in the Beautiful Santa Ynez Valley

Beautiful, private wine country retreat. The casita was lovely and very comfortable (my husband is still raving about the convection oven!) The grounds beckon and kept us outside enjoying the views and relaxing walks. We brought our mountain bikes and found that cycling the roads around the property was just as scenic as the rides we took to Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Ballard Canyon. At night, we could choose between an outdoor heater and the firepit to keep us outside for star watching. There was also lots of wildlife to enjoy. Location is perfect for local sightseeing and winery visits. Looking forward to returning soon!

Another Truly Memorable Stay

Meadowlark is our go-to place when it's just my wife, myself, and our son. After making several trips there, it just keeps getting better and better, with every season bringing something different and unique. I mean, you're going to be hard-pressed to find a more idyllic setting in the Santa Ynez Valley, especially in fall. The colors in and around the property were simply magnificent! And as always, the casita itself was immaculate, cozy, and inviting. The only negative is having to leave and head back for the craziness of home in LA. Thank you Ramon...cannot wait for the next trip up!

Spanish Style Delight

Beautiful views, private, & peaceful. There were owls that would come at the break of dawn and the last part of the sunset, beautiful. Coyotes would howl sometimes in the night. We enjoyed our Bon fires, Bar-b-Qs, and S'more nights. The casa itself was well built w/ nice colors. Nice open space, w/open concept kitchen/living area. Plenty of parking, for guests. Laundry, which came in handy. We'd stay again. Thanks so much Ramon!

Beautiful Serenity!

Amazing location with the amazing mountain and vineyards as your backyard view. All the amenities were available including detergent. The casita was clean and tidy every essential item was available for our stay. Ramon was courteous and gave us our privacy but we new we could get in contact with him quickly. I was able add one more night with such ease. Thanks Ramon. Hope to ne back soon.
