Such a beautiful, quiet mountain cabin, 5 minutes or so from downtown Murphy! Gorgeous views (front AND back) of cabin, exceptionally clean! You won’t be disappointed.

Unbeatable View

The home was absolutely lovely. It was spotless. Everything was arranged for the comfort of the guests. Melanie & Joe provided all the necessities & more! They even thought of treats for the pet(s). We thank them both for sharing their home with us for the month and also for being so responsive to any questions that we had. We thank them & we thank God for providing the magnificent views! Beautiful Home

This stay was perfect! The house was extremely clean, beautiful, & had a heck of a view on both sides. Everything was as described. Host was very kind and communicated well. At the end of the trip, I accidentally grabbed one of the hosts chargers (it looked just like mine). Once I realized, I immediately let her know & ordered her replacements to be delivered. She was very understanding (complete accident- I felt horrible). If you’re looking for a quiet stay, this home is situated at the top of the mountain, is spacious, clean, and has a one-of-a-kind view.

Fabulous home and fabulous experience!

This beautiful home sits up on a mesa and provides endless and spectacular views. It was one of the cleanest/immaculate homes I have ever stayed in, and so much thought was put into the comfort and care of guests. Beautifully decorated and so comfy-cozy that we did not want to leave. I could have sat for days on the porch rocking in the chair watching the animated squirrels and birds playfully devouring the bird seed left out for them. The air was clean and the forest sounds enjoyable. One note: at night the sounds from the forest critters can be deafening, so if you are a light sleeper then bring ear plugs. It's Mother Nature at her finest. Thank you providing such a lovely place for us to escape to. I think I left part of my soul there!

We're big dog lovers here! We have two furry companions of our own and love exploring with them. That's actually what inspired us to open up our cabin on VRBO as a dog-friendly getaway. We've made sure to include all the essentials for your four-legged friends, from bowls and comfy beds to plenty of toys. And yes, dogs are more than welcome to cozy up on the furniture!

On top of that, Melanie enjoys cooking, so you'll find our kitchen stocked with everything you need for a home-away-from-home experience.

The neighborhood is a picturesque haven nestled in nature's embrace, where tranquility meets adventure. Surrounded by lush greenery, our rental cabin sits harmoniously within the landscape, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

What we cherish most about this neighborhood is the abundant natural beauty that envelops us. As residents of this idyllic setting, we have the privilege of owning 30 acres of pristine land adjacent to the cabin. Here, winding walking trails meander through the woods, inviting exploration and discovery. It's a paradise for our beloved dogs, who eagerly accompany us on hikes, their tails wagging with excitement as they immerse themselves in the sights and scents of the wilderness.

One of the things we love most is being able to share this oasis with our guests. Whether they're seeking a peaceful stroll amidst nature's splendor or an exhilarating adventure along the trails, our guests are welcome to partake in the beauty and serenity of our surroundings. It's a joy to see them forge their own memorable experiences amidst the natural wonders that define our neighborhood.
