Riverfront Trout Chalet

Poissons et se détendre à quelques pieds de la rivière Nottely! Un d'une propriété riveraine genre situé sur la belle rivière Nottely et à côté d'une prairie de 25 acres. Cherokee River Valley Casino Harrah La nouvelle est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture - mais un monde loin! Profitez du dindon sauvage, le cerf et abondante vie sauvage, ou aller à la pêche à la truite à quelques pieds du chalet. Détendez-vous sur la terrasse couverte ou le gazebo de la rivière que vous écoutez les rapides du piège à poissons qui a été faite par les Indiens autochtones à une époque révolue. Vrai fin de la vie privée de la route!

Pour les enfants, le Chalet Trout a Ping Pong, air hockey et Xbox 360. Tout le monde est heureux!

La propriété comprend deux 1200 sq. Ft. Chalets et est situé à seulement 15 minutes de Murphy NC et Blairsville GA. Les antiquaires et les marchés aux puces sont à quelques minutes. Louer un ou deux chalets pour l'escapade parfaite! Ensemble, les deux chalets dorment 10. Le Chalet tranquille dort 6 et la truite Chalet 4 couchages. Cette liste est pour la truite Chalet.

Notre famille a passé des années de camping. Nous avons toujours espéré obtenir l'un des sites de camp à côté de la crique à Vogel State Park afin que nous puissions vous détendre aux sons de l'eau se précipiter. Cela arrivait rarement ...

Comme ma femme et moi ont grandi, nous sommes arrivés fatigués de la marche de la salle de bains commune, douches moche, manque d'intimité, et le pas si grand sommeil dans le camping-car. Comme nos enfants ont grandi, l'attrait de dormir dans une tente sans WiFi fané nous avons donc mis à la recherche de la prochaine meilleure chose qui nous permet de profiter de tous les avantages de plein air de camping, mais avec tous les conforts de la maison. Nous l'avons trouvé à River Run!

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel car il est très unique et incroyablement relaxant. La propriété est située à la fin d'un long chemin de terre de mile sur un terrain clôturé de niveau 1 acre. Vous pouvez louer un ou deux chalets en fonction de vos besoins. Les porches couverts wrap-around métalliques toit sont à quelques pieds de la rivière Nottely. Vous pouvez pêcher, randonnée, aller chiner, assis près du feu et écouter la rivière, barbecue sur le gril en plein air, regarder les vaches paissent à travers le fleuve, ou tout simplement assis sur le porche dans les rockers et apprécier les vues et les sons de la Nottely rivière.

Les deux chalets offrent quelque chose pour tous les membres de la famille de profiter pendant les vacances:
• mari peut la truite poissons tandis que la femme va chiner. Le meilleur des deux mondes!
• Louer les deux chalets et donner à vos adolescents de la vie privée qu'ils veulent et l'intimité que vous désirez.
• Idéal pour deux familles de vacances ensemble, se donner mutuellement la vie privée.
• Idéal pour une réunion de famille.
• Les adultes veulent dormir dans un vrai lit et prendre une douche dans une vraie salle de bain mais les enfants veulent camper? Nous avons des tentes et sacs de couchage pour les enfants afin qu'ils puissent dormir en plein air à côté de la cheminée. Un peu comme le camping, mais beaucoup mieux pour les adultes!
• Kayak ou le tube sur la rivière Nottely. La propriété est 2, 5 miles en aval du barrage Nottely. Vous pouvez obtenir dans la rivière à la base du barrage.
• Louer un bateau ponton près du lac de Nottely.

Le poisson thème Trout Chalet est conçu pour être une salle de jeu géante avec des lits. Il comprend le WiFi, la Xbox 360 vintage, le ping-pong et le hockey sur air. Vous avez un adolescent maussade avec des amis qui veulent que leur vie privée? Ou veut jouer leur musique trop fort? Ou veut regarder quelque chose de différent à la télévision? Pas de problème! A very tranquil and adventurous Getaway!

We had an amazing time at the Trout Chalet! The kids enjoyed the table games and puzzles while we were there.The fire pit in the evening was a delight and kept us warm while cooking marshmallows.The Notelly River was low tide the first day of so then it was high tide and running through the sounds of the water hitting the rocks or the low branches was very relaxing to hear.Kevin is a great host and very communicative as well. As per previous reviews the private road getting in to the property is a bit of a challenge and I’m glad we rented a Wagoneer that is an all wheel drive. Once you travel it a few times you get used to it.

Beautiful getaway

The property is beautiful and fantastic. It had everything we needed. The mile drive on the dirt road was a bit rough. We had had a great deal of rain the 24 hours prior to our departure and I was fearful the I would not be able to get out, but the road held up just fine!

GREAT WiFi - Great experience

The Trout Chalet was everything we had hoped it would be. The owners went above and beyond to warn us about potential road closures with Helene on the way. They made checking out early very easy. The river is beautiful and unfortunately we didn’t have time to fish. We were in town to work and the WiFi was perfect! other reviewers stated that you needed 4WD. We did have Jeeps. The locals have regulars cars and make it in and out every day. We didn’t think it was hard to find or difficult to get to. The cabin has everything stocked that you would ever need. For those who complained about the sheets, I would rather put on clean sheets than sleep in a bed in which the sheets may have been on for days if the cabin hasn’t been rented. We thought everything was perfect.

Beautiful location

The location is indeed beautiful. The road leading to the cabin is rugged, narrow and rough in places, but worth it if you have a SUV. Not so sure a regular vehicle would make it. The cabin was nice and clean. It does need some updates. If you’re interested in preparing your own meals, the cookware there is not recommended. The water smells of sulfur, but it is well water and hard. We had problems getting the door to unlock upon arrival and even after the owner having the batteries changed, the door never locked when we went out daily. It is a very safe area, but still…. The cabin is not luxury but adequate. The wood burning fireplace was a plus and we had a fire every morning and night. If you’re looking for a plush cabin this is not the place. If you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay while you spend the days exploring, this is the place. There are some repairs that need to be made. Some as simple as light bulbs in the laundry room and living area. The owner was quick to reply with the difficulties we had with the door lock and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay, the location was indeed beautiful but would we go back, unfortunately no.

Trout Chalet

My wife and I had a nice time. We enjoyed the river view very much. We also saw deer in the field, a momma with her baby. We read previous reviews and we were glad that we did, that could be a tough drive in the dark, so we were sure to get there before dark. The air hockey table and X-box kept us entertained on a rainy day. The chalet was very clean!!

Trout Chalet

We stayed two nights at the Trout Chalet. We enjoyed our stay. The river was beautiful and peaceful. The home was spacious and supplied all our needs. The negative was the dirt road entering the property. A 4- wheel drive should be recommended for this property. We got there without one but it was difficult. Also this is a one lane dirt road. If you meet a vehicle someone will have to backup. The shades in the downstairs of our chalet are not privacy anyone outside can see right in. The owner was quick to answer all my questions in email before we left. We enjoyed our stay.

Secluded and private

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Location on the river was very nice. Enjoyed the fiver from the front porch. A few negatives, the one lane mostly dirt road was a little rough, the well water had a “ rotten egg” sulfur smell, the yard needed mowing.

Great view and stay

The stay in the chalet was great including the scenery and the space. There are some things that I didn’t quite agree with such as having to make the bed prior to laying in it, there were a lot of small rules that made check out a little stressful. Additional fees or description of the initial reservation seemed to change such as cleaning the bedding prior to leaving or no children being allowed. The instructions all over the home on paper were contradicting to what was left on the emailed instructions. Overall I would consider the stay here again, it was serene and my daughter enjoyed the goat farm and donkey as we road in and out of the dirt road.

Restful Existence

Absolutely the best cabin experience I have had thus far. The porch, rockers and hot coffee while watching the fog lift off of the river was extremely calming and thought provoking. The meadow is breathtaking and all I could do while walking through it was imagine ways that I could convince the owners that they should most definitely add me onto the property title (hehe). My two teenagers were engaged the entire time with the table games, river and sheep farm. My three year old played continuously outside and ran laps around the lush green yard. He chased lightning bugs and tossed many a stones into the river. My only regret is that we didn’t rent it longer. The owners were very clear and communicative from the very beginning. We hope to return again some day! Three items we thought you might like to know: 1) City folk might be alarmed at first by the dirt road that leads through and to the cabin. We were definitely caught off guard at first by the path that laid ahead of us, but after the first time we drove back and forth to town, it became apart of the adventure and fun in our trip. We have a small front wheel drive SUV and she did just fine getting over some of the bumps that we city slickers are not used to. 2) The river was much larger and powerful then we expected and we were shocked to see how much it receded after the generators were closed and no longer releasing water. We enjoyed being in the river so much! 3) If you are able to rent the other cabin with friends or family, that would probably be ideal. Thankfully we got along and enjoyed the company of the other family that was there, but I can see how it might be awkward or uncomfortable if you don’t mend with the other cabin dwellers.

Beautiful view of river

We enjoyed the house and especially the location on the river. Dinner or lunch on the gazebo or hanging out having some drinks looking across the river at the cattle across the way was a great experience at the property. If you have children this property is also ideal because there are plenty of things for the children to do including ping pong table and air hockey table. There’s also a separate house on the property if you have a larger family

What a great property! My friend and I had everything we needed - including a breath of fresh air. We were able to enjoy sitting by the river and walking through the meadow. We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful cabin on the river

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Our family loved that it was by the river and they enjoyed fishing. The cabin is in a very quiet peaceful location which made it nice to be able to kick back and relax. The owner was very nice to work with. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Murphy.

Peaceful Chalet

The chalet's location is wonderful right on the river where you can sit and have your coffee on the porch while listening to the water rush by. River in front and a pasture full of pleasant cows on the side. We ate every meal outside on the porch. Getting to the property is by about a mile of dirt road so I would highly recommend arriving in the daylight. Great stay and the house has everything you'll need.

My family and I truly enjoyed the Trout Chalet. We loved the river right out the door, the cow pasture, the porch, and having the game tables. We are already talking about how much fun it would be to bring friends and rent both homes for a small group vacation. Definitely recommend.

Great property but some work to do

This is a beautiful little cabin on a nice creek. My son loved the location. There are two units very close on the same lot. Luckily no one was in the other when we went. If someone was there you would not have much privacy. Would be great to rent both for a larger family. You definitely need to plan on not arriving too late or leaving early in the morning. The road is a long one lane dirt road. Definitely use the owners directions, Not gps, once you are on the dirt road. We didn’t get there until about midnight because we drive from out of state. We were so tired and I wanted to carry my son to bed but found out they do not make the beds for you. So I had to go make three beds at midnight before I could lay down. Likewise on the morning we were leaving we had to leave at 3 am for our long drive and you are required to wash and dry all of the sheets so I had to get up at 1 am to do laundry. So definitely plan your times to arrange for their requests. I have stayed at many vrbo and never had to do that. You are also required to put out and pull in the patio furniture. So just plan some time for set up and pack up. Overall the cabin was clean and nice and seems new. We were out most all day and there is lots to do in the area. We hiked and went gem mining and up to Cherokee. Definitely a great place for kids!!!

Beautiful, relaxing spot to get away

We loved our stay at the trout chalet!! It’s perfectly secluded and feels very peaceful yet so close to Atlanta. Our kids loved all the fun games in the house, and we loved sitting by the river and just totally zoning out. Will definitely be back. Would be great to rent both houses. Thank you!

Our family spent years camping. We always hoped to get one of the camp sites next to the creek at Vogel State Park so we could relax to the sounds of the rushing water. That rarely happened…

As my wife and I grew older, we got tired of the walk to the communal bathroom, lousy showers, lack of privacy, and the not so great sleep in the camper. As our kids grew older, the allure of sleeping in a tent with no WiFi faded so we set out in search of the next best thing that allows us to enjoy all of the outdoor benefits of camping, but with all the comforts of home. We found it at River Run!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this property because it is very unique and you will not find another like it to rent. The two chalets allows for all to enjoy the family vacation. The two chalets offer something for all members of the family. The property is located at the end of a mile long dirt road on a level 1 acre fenced lot. You can rent one or both chalets depending on your needs. The covered wrap-around metal roofed porches are just feet from the Nottely River. You can fish, hike, go antiquing, sit by the fire and listen to the river, BBQ on the outdoor grill, watch the cows graze across the river, or just sit on the porch in the rockers and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Nottely River.
