Property was generally clean but plates, glasses and cooking utensils had dried food on them. Scalding hot water here so cleaned what I needed. Front door smart lock was temperamental and took some time on 2 occasions to enter the property. No dining table here so it’s tough to eat if you’re self catering. Roaches in bath on 2 occasions and a dead insect in the bed when I arrived. Gate to front of property is in a sorry state of repair. Several area of flooring is warped and you can’t shut the bathroom door.

It was a very nice, clean place. It has all the amenities you need full kitchen, bedding and living room. It was very quiet neighborhood and friendly. I recommend you to stay!

The place was perfect for the two of us. We were nearby to coffee, the turquoise museum and some cool shops. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Silver Street market a short walk away. We were on an Amtrak trip and wanted accommodations close to the train station. This was a perfect location in a cute neighborhood, We were also able to catch the Rail Runner to Santa Fe.

I knew I had made a mistake booking this property the moment we pulled up and saw the rickety, broken gate to get into the home. It only got worse from there. You have to shove the door to open it. The home is a duplex so you are renting one side. It is old. Old houses are musty. The smell was overwhelming. We wanted to open windows to air it out, but we could only open one in the whole place because the others are painted shut. There was no window screen so bugs came in. The entire home is slanted on the foundation, which you can feel but also see when the bathroom door drags on the floor, the bedroom TV is crooked, and the stick on laminate floor is coming up in spots. The tub does not drain properly so you are standing in water while showering. The cleanliness also needs to be improved. The cleaner left a used washcloth (with hair on it) in the bathroom. There are stains on the walls. I would never recommend this property to anyone. Never received any communication from the host other than the booking message months before.

work retreat

was perfect for what i needed and close to downtown i hope its always available for me when i work in Albuquerque this is definitely my go to from now on.

I messaged the host immediately after I made this reservation because I needed to clarify something. They never responded. In fact they never communicated at all. Once I got there, the gate was broken, the shower drain was clogged, siding on the house was falling off, and the floor were buckled in multiple spots. For a short term rental none of these problems individually were terrible, but together with the unresponsive host made this stay pretty bad. I would not stay here again.

As a host I am very responsive to messages from guests. Orans message was “I set a filter to book pet friendly place but booked this by mistake, I have to cancel”. My understanding after reading it was he is going to cancel the booking on his own which is why I didn’t follow up. There was no messages or any follow up with any of his concerns he mentioned above, it was one single message saying I have to cancel.

Clean and cozy

My family and I needed to stay one night in ABQ on our way to AZ. The place has a great location, close to food options. Very clean when we first arrived. The shower had plenty of heat and nice water pressure. The couch pulls out into a futon. The bed large and comfortable. I was able to make my baby comfortable. There are no playpens, I brought everything for my little one. If you are an adult it has everything you need. The only issue we had was that the curtain next to the front door, covering the window would get in our way when we attempted to close the door. For some reason it was immovable and it took us each time an extra 2 to 5 minutes closing the door.

Comfortable, great location, easy access, quiet. Mostly clean, one of only two bath towels was stained though. Kitchen clean and stocked for what we needed. Living room lamp didn’t work but able to temp move office lamp that did. a/c worked great. Overall was great place to stay.
