Escape to Seagull's Landing, a spacious vacation rental nestled in the heart of Galveston, Texas. This inviting property offers ample space for up to 12 guests, spread across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spanning 2 floors.

Upon entering the main level, you'll be greeted by an open floor plan layout, seamlessly connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Sink into the comfortable seating in the living room while enjoying entertainment on the large TV. Step outside to the back patio area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities, including a full-sized refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, along with a breakfast bar and a large island for casual dining.

The main level also features the primary bedroom, along with Bedroom 2 and two bathrooms, providing convenience and privacy for guests. Additionally, a washer and dryer are available onsite for added convenience.

Venture downstairs to discover a separate entrance leading to Bedroom 3 and Bathroom 3, offering a private retreat for guests. This ground-level living space includes a cozy sofa and dining table, ideal for relaxation. Outside, a spacious fenced-in yard awaits your furry friends, with two dogs welcome to join your vacation. The Sea Isle Pool is open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Guests must call Sea Isle HOA at 409-737-2438 to obtain pool passes. The pool passes are 10 for $100. They are open Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.

The view is amazing and the walk to the beach is super quick. However, the AC units in the downstairs room did not cool the room off, we were unable to use that room for the first two days because it was so hot. They did send the maintenance man with two new AC units, he told us they sent him to the wrong property three different times. The dryer to the unit was broken. The lint trap would not allow the door to shut properly so it had to be removed, only then were we able to use the dryer. The maintenance man helped us out with that and with teaching us how to lock the front door. Which was very needed as we had no idea it was a trick lock. The shower in the hallway bathroom screams and tells at you when it gets turned on, there is no hot water in this bathroom. The shower head in bathroom of the master bedroom did not work properly, it was actually wrapped up inside of itself and had a rag wrapped around the bottom of the connector because it sprayed water. We accommodated ourselves by buying blow up mattresses, and fans so piled up in the living room of the upstairs area. The back porch was the best spot in the evenings. The drive to the main part of the island is about 25-30 minutes. We also bought and left hangers for guests to use for them to be able to hang their clothes up as there were no dressers in one bedroom upstairs and the one downstairs had broken dresser drawers. There’s more but I’m running out of word space.

Review Seagull's Landing

Firstly, the property is located in a great location, one could walk to the beach from here, this makes it a pleasant stay option for many. The house had pretty much everything that a large group can expect and we did enjoy our stay there, but there were few things which my group feels that could be improved, such as: - the ground level rooms had foul smell and there was mold in the bathroom- we had difficulty locating the keys for the upper floor as the key box is inside the periphery and it took some time to find that box- the bath attached to the main bedroom had water heating issues and one had to adjust the cold and hot water taps for quite some time- the communication from the property owner needs to be improved as they never replied to my messages on Vrbo- property owner could keep some extra trash bags and there was no wash detergent

Never rent again. Would not recommend

Check in was great but when we got there the front was hard to open. Once we got in the front would not lock so we had to prop a chair to the door all night. The living room Tv was broken. We reached out to owner and they did not call us back so i call the office of complex. The lady said she will make a work order but no one never came. The other tv in bedroom the remote didn't work, if it wasn't for us bringing our Fire stick we would have been out of television. The lower bedroom smell really bad like mold. The whole apt needs to be updated and cleaned more thoroughly. Bed sheets wasn't cleaned. The refrigerator was not cooling, we had to food in freezer to keep cold. If was one of the worst experience I have ever had at a airbnb. I would not recommend this vacation rental to anyone.
