This place was immaculate! If I could give 100 stars, I would. The host went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable - which was emphasized by the guest book with people leaving hand-written reviews detailing their experiences in and around the area. Myself and 3 other adults were there for a work trip and each day we got back from working, it felt like a cozy home to stay in for the night. I do not have a single negative thought about this host or the home. If I ever come to this area again, I would love to stay at this location a second time.

Lovely home. We had a group of seven adults. The home was super clean, thoughtfully designed for guest comfort and close to downtown. Would stay again!!

Host was kind, prompt with responses to inquiries, and provided all of the information needed. The property was clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable, private, and very roomy (Emerald Suite). Only stayed one night due to personal schedule, but would have enjoyed a full week in quaint Geneva, IL. Lovely town. Lots to do and see. Highly recommend this property.

Booked this property to stay with my family after my brother's wedding nearby. Owner was able to accommodate an earlier check-in so that we could drop off our bags and get keys before the ceremony. Response time to questions prior to our booking and arrival was extremely fast. The home is beautiful and you can tell the owners took pride in their renovation. Property had everything we needed for 5 adults to sleep comfortably after the wedding. Clean, well appointed, great location. Highly recommend!!!!

The property was exactly as described. Beautifully done second floor unit. The rooms are big and well appointed. The property is nice for the area. The check-in and check-out were great, very easy. Could easily stay much longer than the weekend we enjoyed.

I cannot express how lovely this property was. We were in town because my father had surgery, and especially after long days at the hospital, it was nice to come back to a tranquil, welcoming, cozy space that felt like home. No hotel has ever felt as nice as this. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the home, plenty of space, and a lot of love put into it. Everything was clean, the home was equipped with necessities (and then some), and the host was accommodating when we needed to add a couple days. Communication was quick and kind, and the location was convenient. Hands down, my favorite vacation rental we have ever stayed in, and I hope to return under better circumstances!

The most cozy and beautiful place to stay!

We had five adults in our group and had plenty of space both in our own rooms and in the common areas. Everything was so thoughtfully done and the space is beautifully decorated to honor the age of the home but blended with modern touches. The location is perfect for all things Geneva and St. Charles! Check in and out was super easy and all information pertaining to the house was provided in a well organized book upon entry, which answered any question we might have had. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return one day and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to Geneva.

Best nights sleep

We loved staying in the Emerald Suite! We had to come down for an unexpected funeral, and Sydney and Marika were extremely accomidating and supportive during our stay.Not only were the rooms clean, cozy and well decorated-- but the bedding, pillows and mattress were SO NICE!! My mom, who rarely sleeps well, got up and said she slept great!! We attribute this to the cozy beds.Thanks again. We will be back.

Our Getaway

We spent a few days in Geneva on our little getaway to celebrate our 36th anniversary. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay along with the abundance of room we had on the second floor to ourselves. A very warm and comfortable atmosphere for total relaxation. Only a 2 to 3 minute drive to downtown Geneva and going to 3rd St.enjoying shopping, food and spirits with my wife. Then back to our Vrbo and enjoy. Couldn’t ask for any better service that we had. Outstanding communication and very, very friendly.

Lovely

Your place is lovely and exactly as listed. Wish it was longer then a night....but for the one night we stay it was so peaceful and relaxing. Really like the little touches with the chocolates and waffle maker. Only difference I would do is have one flavored coffee syrup not sugar free (only because I have an allergy to sugar free) or maybe some honey. Overall beautiful place thank you for sharing it with us would definitely stay again.

A real WOW!

A hidden gem. 1850's house but the inside is completely renovated and beautifully appointed. Wonderful little touches like labels on the drawers so you don't have to open 4 drawers to find the cutlery! A waffle-ready nook. The master bedroom is from a movie! Terrific location in Geneva. Amazingly responsive host. Five stars plus! A definite return.
