Jamie and Lori have a fantastic location in Kihei at the Maui Banyan. The condo was well equipped with everything you needed to prepare and save meals as well as beach towels, chairs, etc. Perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with family. Staying in Kihei was great to explore the Waikulu Distillery, horseback ride at Tripple L Ranch, ear at Kula Lodge, hike the waihee ridge trail, or just take in sunsets at our favorite beach by the Mana Kai.

July 2025 Maui Trip

From the start we knew we’d made the right choice! Communication leading up to our trip was perfect and we felt prepared to arrive with no troubles. Then when we arrived, we felt right at home away from home. Jamie knew we had a little girl celebrating a 7th birthday and went above anything we could’ve imagined. Kris, who assisted Jamie, was a great communicator as well. Checked on us via text consistently to make sure we were content and even dropped off life jackets for our 2 young ones for our many beach days! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, guaranteed your needs will be met…and then some. Awesome overall experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use this condo in the future!

Deluxe 2 Bedroom Retreat in Kihei

The Condo is a Great location with steps to the Kamaole Beaches! The condo is furnished very nice with everything we needed. The host were more than accommodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend ths condo!

Amazing!

The condo was amazing! Loved having the separate space for the kids. Everything was updated and so nice. Short walk to the beach. We loved our stay there. Would definitely stay again if we make it back to Maui.

Absolutely the best

The property is exactly as described and pictured. The location was perfect with places to eat and shop within walking distance. The beach park was beautiful and easy to get to. It was just a short distance to see sea turtles resting on the sand. Everything we needed from beach chairs to plenty of towels and kitchen utensils were available and well organized. It was just the right amount of space for our family of four. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location for a family vacation

This property is in a great location and is very walkable to the beach and restaurants. The condo complex has beautiful grounds and 2 very nice pools. The unit itself had everything we needed for the beach including chairs, umbrellas, and toys for our toddler. We would definitely stay here again!

A Home Away From Home

A wonderful location, close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. The condo has excellent amenities with everything you’ll need to have a wonderful vacation. Ground floor location is ideal for vacationers with children. We loved it so much we’re returning in October!

Perfect for a Getaway

This place was perfect for our stay in Maui! We could walk right down to the beach or great food! It was an easy drive to our activities and parking was a breeze! The place had everything you could need—from beach toys to laundry and dish detergent, we were not left wanting in the slightest! I would highly recommend this location for anyone’s future travels!

Worth every Penny

This is the second time that we have stayed here and we will always book this place. Very clean, nice decor, and everything you will need on vacation. There is a beautiful beach steps away from the condo, along with restaurants, and shopping, all very close.

Great Stay in Kihei

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was a nice size for four people. The location is great for walking to the beach and for using as a base for driving around Maui. The unit has everything, from beach gear to kitchen equipment. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the complex. Check in was super easy and the owners are easy to communicate with.

What a great time we had! This condo is so perfectly located, a great beach right across the street as well as shopping and restaurants w/in walking distance. We were especially thankful for all the beach equipment the condo provided to us (beach chairs, boogey boards, snorkeling equipment, etc).

Home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo. For two couples, it was the ideal size and layout - but hope to return with our kids too. It was very well stocked and clean, and the AC made for perfect sleeping conditions. The grounds of the complex are gorgeous and we loved smelling the plumeria as we walked to the beach. So glad we picked this spot, if you are considering it - don’t hesitate!

Fantastic! Spacious and Clean Condo - Perfect location

Condo included everything we needed - and more! Loved the location - close access to pool. Beach was across the road. We were able to communicate with host with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this beautiful condo (exactly as shown on online listing).

Vacation with Elderly Parents

We had a beautiful vacation in Kihea. Our stay in Jamie's property made it perfect. My parents are in their 80's. The location of the condo made our activities easy and accessible. Close to the pool and close to the parking lot. Also, the condo itself is beautifully updated and having 2 separate bedroom suites with bathrooms made our stay very comfortable. The condo was equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. I would definitely stay here again if we come back.

First trip to Maui

Very nice property. Had everthing we needed-ac was great, tvs and appliances all very nice, everything we needed for the beach- chairs, cooler and a wagon to haul it all etc. Great pool & hot tub. Host was very accomdating and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Maui is open and is wonderful place to visit. We pray for Lahina's recovery but the towns west of there are also open and need visitors to survive.

Beautifully renovated, great location/amenities

We had an amazing stay at Lori and Jamie’s condo. The location and amenities were amazing. The condo had everything we could need and more. They were so great at communicating prior to our arrival and even supplied us with a wagon (I was planning to rent one) to haul all of the beach stuff in. It also had a play pen and booster for our baby so we didn’t end up needing to rent anything. I can’t wait to come back and will stay here again for sure!

We are Jamie & Lori Lawrence, and we are so pleased that you are here on our site. Jamie was born and raised on Maui and is a local entertainer. He's also a former US Army helicopter pilot and local helicopter tour/rescue pilot. Lori was born in the tiny Iowa town of Klemme (15 students in her high school graduating class), and later moved to Des Moines, where she worked as a school teacher for 16 years until she moved to Maui in 2004. Together we own and operate Tropical Maui Weddings (TMAUI•COM) and have been helping wedding couples plan their ultimate destination weddings on the island since 2005. We have extensive knowledge of this island and it's resources, and can assist you, our guests, with whatever you may need. We live right here on Maui and we're always available to assist or answer any questions. We want to make your stay at Tropical Maui Condo a most memorable one. We know that once you stay with us, you'll be back! We look forward to having you as our guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

After some extensive research, we decided on a vacation rental property at the Maui Banyan. We liked the close proximity to the many amenities available such as some of our favorite restaurants, the beautiful Kamaole beaches, activities, and of course the tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, and barbecue facilities available right on the property. This area of the island tends to enjoy nicer weather year round, and the trade winds which can sometimes blow pretty hard, are much calmer. Having covered parking available was also a big plus for us keeping our cars cooler on hot days. The condition of our unit was what ultimately sealed our decision to own it. The recent complete renovation which included granite countertops, upscale cabinets, tasteful artwork, etc., made Q107 stand out from the rest. It is truly a deluxe unit.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We enjoy beach walks at sunset, cool dips in the pool or the ocean on warm days, warming up in the hot tub on cooler nights, barbecuing poolside with friends, a romantic dinner at Cafe O'Lei. It's a place to really unwind and relax!
