Nous possédions une multipropriété à Hawaï pendant plus de 20 ans et nous avons acheté ce condo Waikoloa basé sur des années d'expérience. A proximité des plus belles plages d'Hawaï. Procès-verbal de la meilleure plongée sous-marine dans toutes les îles hawaïennes. Je suis un plongeur et ont passé du temps de plongée toutes les autres îles. Kona a la meilleure plongée par rapport aux autres îles.

Nous aimons Waikoloa Village à cause de l'atmosphère des petites et commerciales ville des vents. Tous les touristes cuire dans la chaleur vers le bas sur les plages, que vous pouvez faire si cela est ce que vous êtes après votre visite à Hawaii. Règle de base à Hawaï est le plus vous vivez longtemps sur l'île le plus haut sur la montagne, vous vivez pour obtenir la température idéale.

Hawaii a tout l'un des autres îles ont seulement une meilleure et plus grande.

Marchés agricoles. (bouquets tropicaux grand pour 10 $.) fruits et légumes frais en abondance dans les marchés Kona et Hilo.

Aucune autre île a le volcan actif, qui est un élément doit faire.

Centrally Located

I like the central location! You have easy access to the whole island. You are 40 minutes from Kona, 60 minutes from Hilo, 45 minutes to the North end of Island (Hawi Town). Excellent beaches are 20 minutes! The major resort shopping areas are close by. Excellent market in the village. I like preparing our own meals instead of eating out all the time. Two full baths make this rental comfortable for 4 adults. Already booked our return for 2018!

great and fully equipped (4pax, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths) apartment, perfect for a long stay on Big Island, although somewhat away from the points of interest south of the island.

NOT recommended to participate in IRONMAN Championship in Kona, is about 45', with some luck.

Great home base

We stayed for 10 nights Sept 2017. Everything in the apartment you need, even had pool and beach items to use. We took the fold up chairs to the beach all the time. Beach towels even supplied, as were coolers. Apartment was clean, beds comfortable. Amenities close by. Kona only 15-20 mins drive away for everything else you need. Rental vehicle was a must to have for us. John responded very quickly to any questions we had. Great information in binders in the apartment. Air conditioning would have been nice, some nights were quite hot, but manageable. Would recommend as a base if you are on the Big Island and want to explore the

Island.

Hi John and Carol,

I enjoyed the week at your condo. It was well equipped and had comfortable beds. I missed my firm pillow tho. 😊�

The only thing we looked for was foil as we bought Pasta casserole's at Costco and it asked for a folil to cover while being baked. We did not do much cooking as that was my goal for the week! But not a problem as the convenient grocery store, close by, was perfect and very accommodating.

My friend was the chauffeur and I really enjoyed that. We explored the island mostly north and Hilo side. Took in several Farmers'a markets. We did go on the helicopter tour, just the volcano side, which was great as the day was clear and beautiful. I was brave as I don't like heights. 😬�

The trade winds blew the first three days we were there and we noticed the weather was different at Mikaloia village. It seemed cloudier and cooler which was perfect because we did not have high temperatures which made for comfortable sleeping.

Beautiful pictures and decor appropriate. Bathrooms good drainage and flushing power! 😁�

We did talk to the manager about the family below, the third night , as the children stayed up late and were noisy. The baby cried but that was ok and we understood that. It got , somewhat better, after that.

My friend had a hard time with the stairs but I did fine.

All in all it was s great experience but you were right,

Needs updating.

One of the cheaper places to stay on the Big Island. It is a great location if you are a golfer or you use the North end beaches. It is a long, slow drive to Kona in bumper to bumper traffic. The condo needs updating. The bathrooms have new tile but the kitchen is older with No food storage what so ever. We found several major problems when we arrived. The towels were so dirty we ended up having to buy our own, the dishwasher and microwave were broken, John did get them fixed but it took 10 days. The deck and stairs needs painting and a heavy cleaning. There is no air conditioning which caused some uncomfortable days and nights. The windows need to be replaced as the "trade winds" whistled through them on any windy night. One of the windows we were unable to open what so ever, If we opened the windows the very noisy neighbors kept us awake on most of the 2 month long stay. With the windows shut you could still hear the fighting and children screaming. The pool is very cold and had just be freshly painted, but we found most days it was very dirty with leaves and such. The hot tub jets were very weak. All in all, we enjoyed staying in Waikoloa but probably would not return here again.

Réponse du propriétaire: Thank you for staying in our unit. Feedback is always welcome. I try to make each guest have a great vacation. Sorry to hear yours was not as good as you expected. Traffic is slow to Kona after 3pm because of workers and tourists returning to town. It is only a one lane road and more and more people are finding out how great the Big Island is to visit and live on. The unit does have food storage cabinets but probably not enough for your two month stay. The microwave is a built in and needed to be replaced so it took a few days. The deck and stairs are outside and managed by the condo association. They should be cleaned every couple of months along with pest control. Quiet time is between 10pm and 8am. There is an onsite manager who should have been informed of the noise situation. My cleaning team has the ability to replace towels etc whenever needed. I don't know what happened in your situation. They said the towels were good to use. I live off the island so I have to trust other people to do the job. The people I use to clean and do maintenance are great and respond as quickly as they can. I don't know about the pool situation, I will contact management to see if anything has changed. I have never found the pool to be dirty or cold but I was not there when you were. The handy man was in your unit at least two times and would have fixed the window if you had let him know about the situation. I have already contacted him about the problem. John
